Update #2: It took them three months to respond to my Unilocal review. At that point, why even bother?

I stopped by for some simple hardware, unaware of the their specialty. They didn’t have what I was looking for but didn’t hesitate to point me in the right direction and even called to see if they had the item before I went over. Absolute gentlemen! Thank you again!

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service here. My mom and I went in after being referred by the previous owner of our new home, and boy was that a mistake. Not only was the gentleman pushing my mom around, but he was also extremely condescending towards her. We came in to ask for help about changing our locks and all he could do was belittle my mom and say he could do nothing to help us.

We are a retail building materials business in San Juan Capistrano Ca. Huntington Hardware is our «Go To» hardware resource. The customer service is awesome, they continue to make us look good to Our customers! The staff especially shines when we request some weird hardware parts. Love doing business with Huntington Hardware!

I’ve been in the residential and commercial door business for about 15 years and have been a customer of Huntington Hardware for just about as long. Jeff is my go-​to guy. He even worked on his lunch hour for me once when I had an emergency and needed to pick up some cylinders. I can call for some quick pricing when I’m working on a bid or to check stock on hardware. My company has an account and order processing is quick and no fuss. As others have mentioned, they are closed for lunch 12 – 1.

I’m an interior designer and the builder we are currently working with sent me here to try and secure all the Baldwin hardware I need as time is crunched. Success! Luis, the sales associate, spent over 2 hours with me trying to find something similar to what we had originally speced out. He was patient and friendly.
They have a large showroom with extensive inventory. The place is abuzz with numerous employees to help with any questions you have. Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable. I ended up leaving with everything I had come in to buy along with a smile.

The quality and selection is wonderful at this store. Hands down, five stars. But their customer service is crap. I have to take off 2 stars. Our salesman was a complete D-​bag. He was cocky and rude. I almost walked out of there after he gave my husband and I a speech about how valuable his time is. He said that the more time he spends with us, the less of a discount he can offer us (we were remodeling a multi million dollar home, all new hardware). Really buddy? He left a very sour taste in my mouth.

If you need a part, molding, door, this place has everything, or orders it! Was the only place for miles who had the obscure part we needed for our 10 year old French doors. They were friendly and helpful. :)

Where my contractor believed that I would be able to find door handles for my interior doors. Score! He was right. The displays are spatially separated in such a way that I thought that it facilitated being able to compare various product lines easily. At the same time, this place can be daunting to those who do not care to be confronted by umpteen choices of hardware. Among designs there can be very fine lines of what distinguishes one form from another. Also, definitely there are decisions regarding the quality of one vendor’s product versus another.
From the staff, catalogues from the displayed vendors are available, for further study at home. Yes, the staff is friendly and desirous of answering questions. I am in love with my door handles, and anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t throw around my love for material objects.
