History

Established in 2013.

Eye Level Learning Center Pomona Thiells is a supplemental education program that originated in Korea over 30 years ago and now has over 3 million children enrolled world-​wide. We are the leading provider in supplemental education in the areas of Math and English. Our philosophy is that every child has the potential to learn and master math, reading and writing. We enable students to realize this potential by bringing the instructional materials to the eye-​level of your child.

By conducting a thorough, Diagnostic Assessment, we are able to isolate your child’s strengths and areas of development. We then create a specifically tailored program that builds upon your child’s strengths and use these strengths to help develop areas of weaker understanding.

Both our Math, Reading and Writing programs are aligned to United States educational standards.

Personal message to parents… My name is Donna Forlenza and I am the owner and Center Director of Eye Level Pomona-​Thiells. I have been a resident of North Rockland for 24 years and have three children, two of which have graduated from North Rockland High School and one who is currently attending Willow Grove Elementary School. I have a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from St. John’s University.

Some of you may know me from my Girl Scout and PTA involvement. Working with children and their parents has proved to be a rewarding experience for me. Perhaps you have taken my SPIN class at the World Gym?

I, like most parents, have concerns about my child’s academic performance. In a highly competitive environment, children need to perform at their maximal potential.
