This Institution is a fraud! My husband Signed up for the EET Program at night. He was promised ALL classes would be at night on sight due to his work schedule. Less than half way through NONE of his classes were available, only online. He had no choice took the classes online with no support from Devry. His GPA suffered & now he is stuck with a huge bill and can’t continue to take his classes because he works. They should have been honest from the beginning all they wanted was his tuition money! BEWARE DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU WILL JUST BE A NUMBER! ENROLLING IN THIS SCHOOL WAS THE WORSE DECISION HE EVER MADE! THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!

This school may be expensive but it is convenient and they have professors that know how to teach. The classes are small so they focus on each student that is attending the class.
They are very hand-​ons and helpful with the teaching. The administration is very friendly and accommodating. They will help you with all your concerns.
The schedule of classes is also very flexible-​especially to those who are working and have a family.
The have online and in-​site classes as well.

This school is just awful! I’m in debt $ 60,000 and my knowledge was outdated before I even graduated.
The professors are often quite unprofessional and MAY be knowledgable in their field of expertise but have no training in TEACHING. You can be very smart but not know how to pass on the information correctly.
When I was in school there Professor Dean Scott interrupted my presentation in front of a group of 40 students, professors, and supervisors. He didn’t allow me to finish, informed me that I failed and slandered me saying I cheated in front of this group. We went through an appeals process and it was determined that I DID NOT CHEAT and was NOT GUILTY OF ANY WRONG DOING!
However, the defamation of my character made the rest of my time at that university extremely stressful and difficult. No other students wanted to work with me on group projects because although the appeals process was private and I was not guilty of any wrongdoing, the accusation was VERY public and word travels fast.
«Professor Scott,» never apologized for his depraved behavior. He was never disciplined by DeVry despite the fact that he was wrong, and I was never able to obtain employment in my chosen field do to that horrible slandering of my good name. He was extremely unprofessional and refused to even speak to me for the remainder of the time I completed there as a student.
Come to find out he was later made the Dean Of The Business Department? To this day, I still haven’t received the proper apology. He is completely unprofessional and the school is supporting his behavior.
Go anywhere else but here. You have no rights as a student or to privacy. They raise prices as you are attending and added courses to your list in the middle of your program. They except everyone in the program and encourage, «group work.» So, you’re often left completing huge projects by yourself with little to no help from unqualified individuals that aren’t performing at a college level.
If you do decide to go there keep all the initial paperwork so that you can appeal classes that are added later (at $ 1,250.00 each as they nickel and dime you to death).

Great damn school! The ones that have something bad to say about this school are the ones that aren’t fiscally responsible. If you want to learn, then your gonna learn no matter who’s responsible for teaching the class. Couldn’t be happier making over 100k now!

Here to meet with an advisor and see about applying. Very nice and clean building. Well maintained. Although, I had a 9am appointment, it is now 9:11 and I am still waiting…
My advisor made a 9am appointment with me and she walked in at 9:15am… What?! It’s 9:20 and I am still waiting…
After all said and done, I have come to the conclusion that this place is terrible and totally OVERPRICED. Maybe not for the people who want to «buy» their degree. Don’t go here.

I have been attending DeVry Pomona Campus for 6 months now taking both online and on campus classes for my BS in Networking and Communications. I have to say, so far, this school has surpassed my expectations for what college should be. I have a kid, work part time, attend school full time and don’t have time for traditional 16 week classes. The 8 week format combining online homework and tests really fits well for my style of learning. It is year around and allows you to finish much faster than what is typically possible. You have to be motivated to succeed because most of your work is done at home online. You just have to know what you are getting into. I love the fact that this school is paperless and it really allows me to keep my papers and notes organized on the computer. No more piles of binders on the bookshelf. Every teacher I have had was a past Devry graduate and works professionally in their field. I have found all my teachers to be very knowledgable, so I cannot agree with some of the other reviewers. It is also possible that other degree fields don’t have the same quality of teachers found in the networking admin field.
The recruiters are aggressive, but I made the decision to go here. If you are going to spend the money to finish college you should really be making your own decision about your future. I will update this review if my opinion changes over the rest of my time at Devry, but I don’t have any trouble recommending this school for a degree in networking.

So far my experience with my school is excellent. I love my Financial Adviser & my Success Coach is awesome. They’ve been with me through everything and guided me in my needs. As for my Professors, they we’re all an inspiration as for being the best of who they can be. All my professors helped me and guided me as well to become better. always have a positive note and believe in you that you can do it. I am looking forward for my next semester.

Lets just say this school put me in 58,000 in debt and claiming I owe 2,800.00 for classes that I didn’t even enroll in. I tried talking with the finical aid department and I can’t never get no where. The staff when sign up is friendly at first but beware when you burn threw your aid which you will they turn on you and start talking to you like your yesterdays garbage. I finished all classes which was a joke I never really learned anything because the professors in class talk about their husbands etc
The slides that the professors teach are the same slides that on the decry u web page so wage of gas coming to class.
so at the end of all this mess I have no BA degree because the school try say I owe them 2,8000 on top of the 58,000 aid i burn out I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL NOT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY

DeVry as an entity is to generate income at the expense of foolish people… trust me… I was foolish for 1 trimester for $ 6k. I withdrew from the school and started to attend Mt. SAC.
I did not learn anything useful at DeVry but still passed all the tests because the answers were given out by every teacher! My worst educational experience! Nobody there cares for students (i.e. the shorter the skirt and/​or lower the blouse = the higher the grade from male teachers).

Great school I attend n it’s not as bad as everyone says. I worked there n if you wait for the last minute then you will not like the out come. Also professors are experienced professionals not babysitters. Everyone this is college not high school where they do things for you. It takes hard work n dedication to be here if you think you have it why not try it.

I am surprised at some of the reviews here. Schools are what you make of them to be sure. DeVry is no different. I graduated from DeVry’s CIS program back in the early 90’s. I can say without hesitation that going to DeVry and working through the program was the best decision I have made. That choice allowed me to turn a hobby into a twenty plus year career.
If your thinking to go to this school, you have to understand where they are coming from and the weaknesses that result. They are «for profit», meaning they want to get you into the program and as such are less selective then other programs. When I started, I had a high school diploma and mediocre grades. It was a real struggle for me to get through the first year of GE courses. Of the almost 50 students that started the program with me, more then half dropped out in that first year.
By the second year, only students that were truly serious had made it through, at which point the program gets harder. In my case, courses in the second year moved past the basics and focused on actual computer programming, systems analysis, math and the various computer systems and infrastructures in use at the time. The instructors I worked with were serious about you understanding what they were teaching and unforgiving when you just didn’t get it. Another 5 or so of my original class mates dropped out in the second year. By the start of the third year, we had 15 students, some of whom came from other programs or had been held up for various reasons. At the end of the 3.5 years, 10 of those original students graduated.
DeVry can be expensive, but no more then any other quality school. Their sales guys can be pushy and will sell you on the program. They will also find any scrap of federal, state or local aid they can to get you in the door. The result is that a good number of students get in, can’t handle the riggers of the program and drop out. When that happens, they get stuck with large student loans and unfulfilled promises. For those that preserver and make it through, it’s money very well spent.

Great school too expensive!!!

They give out answers before or during finals.
Horrible, horrible school. Because they have a stock price.
They put you in loans you don’t really understand.

I love this campus. Most of the people who complain are the dumbasses that can figure stuff out. I was a campus student and the last 2 yrs of my degree switched to online. I love them both. Quick way to get in, get out and make money. I ofund a job easily and didnt even need to us career services. A lot of people go to devry thinking they are just going to get a «job.» And dont want to take responsibility in looking for one themselves. No one is going to spoon feed you a degree & employment. you need to get it yourself –after all if you dont, who will?

I went here for my undergrad and I didn’t think it was that bad of a school, it would be more a 3.5 stars.
They tell you things from the get go that end up not being true.
They promised that we were guaranteed classes and that they never got cancelled but that wasn’t the case when I was there, I had like 4 classes cancelled. Its just like every other school to me.
