I’ve needed to get my garage organized for years. I finally pulled the trigger after seeing their ad in magazines and after reading their great reviews on Unilocal.We had Erick come out and he was on time, professional, educated, fast and went above and beyond the call of duty. He explained everything in detail as he did it and I felt very secure about him and his installation. The Topp Rax themselves are very sturdy and well built. Each rack we had installed is capable of holding over 1,000 pounds. This is no flimsy junk and it is in fact very durable and will last forever. It took no time at all and I’m very happy that I had it done. In fact, I should have done it a lot sooner. They make the process so easy and Erick is skilled craftsman. He has personality and stories to go along with it. He was very honest and I valued his opinion very much.

Amazing service! Cannot say enough good things about this company. The gentleman that came out was on time, courteous and very easy to talk to. He took the time to explain how deep the rack would be, he even measured a few of our plastic storage bins and told us that they’d fit into the new overhead rack w/​no problems. We were concerned that our SUV wouldn’t fit in the garage w/​the new overhead storage, but the installer assured us that it would, and he was correct! He had the overhead bin installed in less than 25 minutes! It’s very sturdy-​solid as a rock, and a great storage solution, not to mention an upgrade to our house that will help to increase the property’s value over time. We couldn’t be more pleased with this service! All of our Xmas décor stuff is now in the new overhead bin and were able to fit two cars in the garage. A+++

Having recently downsized from a home with 3100 sq/​ft to ~1800 sq/​ft and going from a 3-​car to 2-​car garage, we knew far in advance the overhead storage racks would be a necessity.
Product: After comparing a few popular options offered by Costco and other well-​known vendors, we decided the ToppRax offering was the superior product and is very well thought out to eliminate the known weak points of the other products. Compared to their competitors, the price per 4×8′ unit with installation included was identical but there is absolutely no doubt the ToppRax is the better product for that same price you would pay for the inferior products.
Installation: Although DIY is an option, I simply don’t have the time. Craig, the owner and installer, is based out of Pomona and the travel time to San Diego is probably longer than the installation time itself (which was a fact). Upon talking to Craig he informed us that he was in the process of training someone in SD to take over the territory and, in the meantime, he was willing to make the trip down here to install our racks provided it wasn’t for a single rack; which was definitely not the case with our garage.
We wanted to make our time worthwhile so we opted to install as many racks as physically possible in the garage without inhibiting our access to the contents. We went with four 4×8′ and two 4×4′ racks. He helped us with the configuration options and ultimately settled for two Ls in the front corners (30″ drop) and two 4×8 parallel racks (23″ drop) above the roll-​up door. The configuration is working out quite nicely. When all was said and done, the installation time was three hours and change.
In summary, we have no regrets spending the extra time researching product options. We are glad we did not eliminate ToppRax as an option simply because they weren’t based in SD. The easy way out would have been to buy from Costco and be done with it but that particular product (and others) left something to be desired in terms of safety and stability. My recommendation to anyone looking for overhead storage is to go with ToppRax, check out Youtube, or get a hands-​on feel for the quality of the available products before making any type of commitment. I have no doubt the quality of ToppRax will prevail as the preferred option.

Craig’s product and service are superior to anything else I could find on the market. He showed up right on time and installed two racks in an your or less. The racks are powder coated to resist rust, and because every piece is secured to a stud or the frame, it is rock solid and makes sliding bins and boxes on and off the racks hassle-​free. Worth every penny.

Just moved in to a new home and wanted to add some storage to the garage. We decided that the only thing that should go on the garage floor are our cars. I called Craig and he came out on the same day. He installed the large 4’x8’ 1000 lb rack in less than an hour. Came back the next day to install another one. We recently moved into our new home and found ourselves in need of some storage in the garage. We considered a number of options but ultimately decided on ToppRax. We’re sure glad we did. I called and spoke to Craig about our needs. He was very helpful and we made arrangement s for him to come out. He arrived on the day and at the time we agreed on. He had some suggestions and after we discussed them he installed two Rax. He showed us the comparison between his product and some of the others on the market. I also had watched the video on his website. The ToppRax seems to be a far superior product. Craig was at our home for about 2 hours. He was careful with our things and cleaned up when he was done. We are very satisfied with our ToppRax and are considering getting an additional one. If you want to clean up your garage you should take a look at ToppRax.

Craig is knowlegeable and showed me why his product is the best. In my opinion, Topp Raxx has a superior product compared to Safe Racks. Check out the video. He installed 2 racks in 40 minutes. Great efficiency for those who need extra storage.

The company has two partners who run different areas. Depending on where you live, either Craig or Eric will be your go to man.
Our garage was in need of some storage space so we decided to have Eric do a home visit consultation. Eric is very passionate and informative about his products. He can tailor and will work with your garage availability/​needs.
After his efficient and timely installation, we could not be more satisfied and pleased with our storage rack. I was doing pullups on the rack. I don’t know if I was more impressed that I could do pullups or that the rack held my weight without even squeeking.

Had Craig come out and install a heavy duty rack after we refinished our garage. He was very nice/​professional and the rack appears to be very sturdy. I don’t doubt the 1000 pound claim at all. I also got a few hooks which hold up my bike and other items. I would highly recommend.

Eric installed two 2×8 foot Topp Rax in our garage and did an excellent job. They are very high quality and sturdy. They can also customize the height.

Nice to deal with, best quality racks i could find on the market, and the prices are equal to lesser quality racks AND include delivery and installation. Wouldn’t hesitate to suggest these guys.

There are big differences between the different options for overhead storage. Topp Rax is a superior product and does not sway, bend or flex like the other options. The price difference is minimal. With three small kids, we did not want to take any chances with inferior products made from less steel, fewer cross supports, etc.
Craig was a pleasure to deal with. Setting up the appointment was painless. Craig came on time and was very professional. He politely and patiently answered our questions and offered advantages and disadvantages of different installation options. He was never pushy and let us choose after we listened to his explanation. Craig installed the racks quickly and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

We found Craig and his business through an online home improvement blog. People were really happy with the product and its quality. That’s how we ended up calling him to install in our garage this past summer.
He showed us the difference between his product and the others through the sample he had on his truck. (We were able to verify since our neighbor had gone with the competition.) ToppRax is definitely a stronger and better quality product. You can see it by the additional center supports Craig added to the design. In addition the «floor» of the rack is actually completely attached to the frame – something that you don’t see in others. It definitely feels more stable and able to hold the weight he claims.
He completed installation of our 3 racks in about an hour. He was quick and pretty efficient. His prices were comparable… in fact you would probably be getting more for your money since the quality is better. He leaves his info for you so that you can call him when you move so you can take the system with you. In the end, 4 of our neighbors ended up calling him to come out to install in their garage too.

Just had Craig out to install two 4′ x 8′ overhead racks in my garage (1000lb rated) and could not be happier. Racks look great and are very solid looking. Craig is very courteous and professional. He was on time and installed the units within about an hour. The racks themselves are his own design, and are of very high quality, I have seen others but they don’t compare to the ones I had installed today. Highly recommend this company and their product. The only downside was that I had to wait a couple of weeks for my appointment as he is that busy! But I think that is a great endorsement of his business. Word has gotten around!
