Unique Nails

I have used unique nails lots of times. Chi and Join are great. But the last 3 times that I have been there they are not that busy and they tell me to come back in 2 or 3 hours. The first 2 times I had to find another place. I have always been able to walk in. This last time there was someone available to start with my fill. Since me and my 6 year old couldn’t sit together to get pedicures. They told me to come back in 2 hours. Plus every time I want a design I have to wait for chi to do it. To top it off I am a licensed professional and I know the law states you need to have a dirty and a clean bin. They don’t. I adore join and chi but this has gotten ridiculous. Looks like I need to find a new nail shop. After the first nail salon I went to when I moved up here breached my nails up and used crap product I thought finally I found a place. But apparently not. If you want sit and get a fill that takes an hour and a half and the nails are crooked by ask means come here. But I won’t again. They lost my business and the people I knows business

I LOVE this place! Hannah and her team/​family are all amazing. They know all their regulars by name. It’s like the ‘Cheers’ of Pollock Pines! Their prices and skill are first class! And, I’ve met so many interesting local people there!

Hannah is absolutely the best, very professional and knowledgeable, also takes into consideration any suggestions or concerns you may have. I have very thin skin around my nails that cuts easily, and very thin nails that heat up a LOT when being filed. Hannah was very nice about it and made sure I was comfortable. Can’t say that about a few others there, but they’re all very nice!

I love that they are all family and genuinely care about their customers. John and Chi are my favorites. John is great with acrylic and Chi is queen of gel.
Bonus: they rarely ask you personal questions. If you don’t want to talk, they’ll never pry about whether you «have boyfriend», as popularized by Bonquiqui

The nail salon staff were very nice and the prices were a great, my only problem was the nail design I wanted they couldn’t do because of its difficulty.

I absolutely love this place!!! I live in placerville and drive up about every three weeks! Even when I lived in rosemont I still drove to pollock to get my nails done. There is no other place like it. The pedicures are amazing and relaxing and my acrylics always look on point and last forever without lifting or breaking. I have very thin natural nails and every other nail place drills through my natural nail around the cuticle but this place never does! They are also extremely friendly and always remember you!

No lie, I’ve gone to many great nail salons but hands down (no pun) this place is by far the best! Their product lasts long, their prices are good, and their work is great. This place is family-​run and they are appreciative to their customers.

This is a great find up in Pollock Pines. Great nail services, friendly people, can usually always get an appointment when you need it, same day. Manicures, acrylic/​fiberglass nails, pedicures, eyebrow wax. I don’t have many problems with acrylics coming off, if they do Hanna doesn’t charge to fix them if she has put them on. All the nail techs are good at what they do. Great pedicures with leg massage. Always an upbeat pleasant atmosphere for workers and customers.
