Just Add Color

Lisa absolutely changed my family’s life beginning 10 years ago.
At the time, we had completed our last military move, had 3 ENERGETIC boys, the desire to make some basic changes and did not know how to get started. I was not gifted with an artistic flair and my sister-​in-​law got us connected.
We started with paint colors and I couldn’t be more pleased to go from all white walls to warm, inviting and non-​boring color palette, but not too much of a leap (the first time around)! She has brought my home a long way and it is just fun to live here!
She has her degree in interior design from the Art Institute as well as her finance degree from her previous career so she can work with a budget. With Lisa’s direction we have installed new limestone flooring, new carpet, curtains, new furniture and a master bath remodel with a custom marble bathtub surround — so beautiful! Our latest «martini inspired» living room is beautiful but cozy and inviting.
Honestly, from the first time we met, she listened to my thoughts of what it was I thought I wanted from inviting and relaxed to «fun», on a very tight budget when we first started. She produced! Her ideas just don’t end. She is flexible and a delight to work with.
We have become close friends through the years, and we share many deep belly laughs at some of the things we’ve been through (ie, «no I don’t think I can do that… to I LOVEEEE it). There is also a story of a wooden roster my husband brought from his travels in Guatamala… we will leave that alone!

Lisa is absolutely amazing, and so is her work. She was recommend over to us by someone else who she had worked for. WE hired her immediately and she started working on our office right away! Our office space was dull and boring with white walls. The stale look was unprofessional, and we needed help bad. We had a deadline between the painters, and all the other work that we needed done. Lisa was here after hours sometimes till 1−2am just to make sure things were getting done, and we were on schedule. We had no problem telling her that we wanted to change things (pictures, paint color etc) and she was so open to accommodating us at every moment.
Not Only is Lisa a wonderful decorator but she is an amazing honest person, and fair! She knew or budget and made sure that she stayed within close range. I Would give her 10 stars in possible! She is wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend her, for residential and professional spaces!!!

Lisa designed our home in San Clemente and in Carlsbad. She has an amazing eye for color! I could look at paint swatches all day long, however Lisa can determine color in minutes. She knows just how to put things together without over doing it. We wanted both homes to have more of a coastal feel and she nailed it. I didn’t want our home to feel pretentious but I did want it to be inviting, warm and unique. She also helped us with flooring, lighting, drapes, repurposing furniture as well as new pieces, art selection and even a custom cornice box above my bed. I have received lots of compliments from people on my home and I have never felt right accepting the compliments without mentioning that I have an amazing interior designer. In fact, we are confident that Lisa actually increased the value of our home in San Clemente since it was the highest selling home in our neighborhood after the remodel. I can’t say enough about Lisa, she is a professional as well as a joy to work with!
