Specialties

Fine craft brewed beer and a large selection of wines. Live entertainment four nights a week. Great lunch and dinner menu and catering available.

History

Established in 1996.

Portneuf Valley Brewing poured their first beer for public consumption in July of 1996. Owner and Brew Mistress Penny Pink had been brewing fine beers for the enjoyment of her family and friends for many years. After eight years of working at the Idaho National Lab, Penny decided to pursue her interests closer to home. Setting up her first commercial brewery inside Dudley’s Sports Bar & Grill, her unique brews soon gathered a loyal following. Recognizing the need for expansion, in March of 1999 Penny purchased the old East Idaho Brewing Company building at 615 S. First Ave in Pocatello.

Fall of 2006 saw PVB become a fully operational brewpub, offering great food as well as fantastic beer. Portneuf Valley Brewing provides a pleasant and relaxing environment and has become the place to be for lunch, dinner and gathering with friends to enjoy the finest live music and food the valley has to offer.
