We stopped in here on our way up to Mashpee, it’s our go-to for booze before a long weekend. This place is the best! It’s right off the main road, it’s HUGE, and the workers are super friendly — they’ll even help you carry stuff out to your car if needed. Additionally, they have a fantastic selection and they are always fully stocked up on whatever you need(beer, wine, liquor, chips, etc.). This is a one-stop-shop that you will not be disappointed with in the least bit. We always stop on the way into town and we will always stop in the future!

Their prices are exorbitant… period. Just about any bottle of anything is $ 5 more than any other liquor store.

Phil & I stop here every time we head out to Martha’s Vineyard from Woods Hole. George & his staff are friendly and knowable. Prices are reasonable and the wine selection is great especially for a small shop. Wish they carried more party one serve beverages that we could grab for the beach cooler. I wish I would win the lottery too!

A great selection of fine wines. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. I never go to a dinner party without stopping at portside first. *Be sure to find out when they have scheduled their next wine tasting. They offer some great bottles to taste for free, not just the cheap stuff!*

Consistently more expensive than kappy’s(for everything), but depending in who’s working the staff can be great and very helpful. They have great wine selection.

Super helpful staff, they order anything, and they stock Sin Zin, which is my father’s wine of choice. Why do I bring up these few points? My father works overseas but keeps his main residence on the Cape. We stop at Portside for Sin Zin every time he comes home, which is like, once every 5 months. When he was coming home for Christmas, my boyfriend and I stopped at Portside looking for the Sin Zin. The gentleman working asked if we needed help, I said we knew what we wanted, and said that my father came home from Asia and we had to curry favor with him by getting him Sin Zin… and the guy knew who my dad was. My father hadn’t been in the store in months. That’s good customer service.

Portside is a remarkable well-stocked Cape liquor store. They’ve got a fine selection of beers, a little thin on the microbrews but waddyagonnado. They’re very well stocked with the usual assortment of well– and medium-range spirits, from vodkas and gins to tequilas and whiskies. But where Portside really shines is their expansive wine collection, which my stepfather assures me is of high quality. At least one very knowledgeable staff-person rounds out this collection and makes Portside probably the go-to liquor store for this portion of the Cape if you’re picking up wine. They also have a full-wall humidor with a decent collection of cigars.
