Hedberg’s Masonry Selection Center in Plymouth features the area’s largest selection of brick and stone veneer for home exteriors, interior walls, columns and fireplace, plus all the accessories needed for outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and more. With floor to ceiling displays of natural stone, manufactured stone, full and thin veneer, full and thin brick, comfortable consultation areas and the help of Hedberg’s experienced design team, your masonry selection experience will be stress free, pleasant and successful. Architects, interior designers, builders and the general public are welcome to use the Hedberg Masonry Selection Center.

History

Established in 1987.

Today’s Hedberg companies were founded in 1987 by Steve Hedberg in a rented converted garage located at Hopkins Crossroad and Cedar Lake Road in 1987. Through hard work and attention to customer service, Hedberg Landscape & Masonry Supplies has become an industry leader in the Twin Cities and throughout Minnesota. The company has fully stocked yards and beautiful landscape and stone displays in Plymouth, Farmington, Stillwater and a spectacular masonry selection center in Plymouth.

The Hedberg family has a long history of supplying construction products in the Twin Cities. Steve’s grandfather, Fred Hedberg, ran a business in the early 1900’s with a team of horses hauling sand and gravel and a few hard workers digging basements in Minneapolis. Fred pioneered the concrete block and redi-​mix concrete industry with Hedberg Friedheim & Co. and later, Hedberg & Sons Co. Steve kept his last name as part of the business to honor his family heritage in the Twin Cities construction industustry.
