History

Established in 2008.

Established at the University of Minnesota, in Pioneer Hall S222 Gophermods has been in business since 2008 and is a registered LLC with the state of Minnesota. Our humble beginnings date back to a college dorm room at the University of Minnesota where Gophermods was founded by current owner and manager, Casey Profita. Since the dorm days, we’ve grown into our new location in Northeast Minneapolis on the first floor of the Horton Building.

Since then, we’ve add our newest location in Plymouth, MN in September 2013. Plymouth is being ran my our store manager, Miguel Montaño.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Miguel began working full-​time at Gophermods in 2010 after moving to Minnesota from Hawaii. He shared an intense passion for our video game side of the business and quickly became our star repair technician.

Since 2010, Miguel is an expert in all facets of the Gophermods repair business and is trained in all repairs offered by Gophermods.

He specializes in iPhone repair, but his skills are not limited to any one gadget. If and when your gadget breaks, he is the repair man to talk too.
