Specialties
Christ Church Thrift Shoppe will sell gently used clothing for women, men and children plus an eclectic mix of housewares, small pieces of furniture, art and antiques all of which have been donated for this purpose by parishioners and members of the Plymouth community
History
Established in 2012.
Open since March 2012 by a majority vote to use this space as a Thrift shop with Sunday School coming in 2nd. We exist to help Christ Church financially with its ministries and the Plymouth community with its needs.
The shop is located across the driveway at 6 Lothrop Street in Hall House built in 1841, the vintage gray house originally occupied by Rev. Robert Hall & Abigail Mitchell Davis Hall. This beautiful home was originally on the corner of Lothrop & Court street but was moved to its’ current location in 1912 to allow for the construction of Christ Church which was completed in 1914 thanks to the generosity of the Hall Family. Please see the restored paintings of the Hall’s at the Plymouth Library & these will eventually be hung in the new Plymouth Town Hall
