History

Established in 2005.

JiggyBits was actually born of my childhood experiences.

I can recall the desire to create from the time I was playing with dolls. Mom wouldn’t allow me to use her sewing machine, but I could envision and create doll costumes by hand; using old clothing or any scraps of material I could get my hands on.

As I grew into adulthood, I would express my creativity by making clothing for my children — and the occasional repair or customized costume for friends and family. I honed my talents and eventually could take a verbal order and produce a product to customer described specifications.

I continued to develop and expand upon my skill base when I became employed at two Industrial Design and Fabrication companies, where I worked for over 20 years. These companies hired me to design and create custom awnings, canvas covers and vinyl products. This was the perfect opportunity for me to fully expand my creative capabilities.
