I went to Big Apple Bagels for the first time yesterday(4÷20÷15) and after the service I’m not sure I’ll be going back… I went through the drive thru, the woman was very abrupt and unhelpful. It was rainy that day so the menu board was blurry and difficult to read. When I asked what the difference was between two sandwiches I was met with an abrasive tone and very curt answer, it felt like I was bothering the woman on the speaker. When I got to the window I saw that her name was Carie, she wasn’t overly friendly in person either. The bagel sandwich I got was very good, the pickle in the plastic bag was barely edible, it had a very weird taste to it. It’s too bad that Carie really rubbed me the wrong way, especially with it being my first time visiting this establishment. First impressions are important… I know they have great bagels, but I’m not sure I want to support this business after my encounter with a woman who treated me not like a customer but a nuisance.

It was ok. Probably the only place in Stevens Point/Plover to get actual bagels. I had the blueberry cobbler bagel, coffee, and a mini cinnamon muffin for $ 5.03. I would not order the muffins again. The coffee was hot and tasted fine. The bagel had a lot of cream cheese on it and was toasted well. It took about 5 minutes as they were serving drive-thru customers before those inside. The staff was friendly.

My «toasted» bagel was microwaved. The blueberry muffin was good, and would have been better if it hadn’t been cut with a knife that was obviously used to cut a garlic bagel last. I had a large black coffee that had been put in a carafe used for a flavored coffee last. I also purchased a dozen jalapeño and cheddar herb bagels which were both sad. They were small, poorly raised and pale. I usually like Big Apple Bagels!
