I go to a dental office in Fremont. I had an issue with an old root canal flaring up.
The other doctor just cleaned my teeth and informed me to see some doctor in couple of weeks. My pain got worse 3 hrs later.
I had gotten a friends reference to Dr. Koratkar and I cannot thank him enough for it.
I went to doctor the next day, and it turns out it is very much in bad shape.
Dr. Koratkar gave me immediate appointment and taken care of it.
I had been prescribed medicines which I found out caused me discomfort and Dr. Koratkar was available on cell phone during the vacation time and advised me.
For root canals, he has advanced equipment that would help in finishing root canal in 1hr –1.30 hr instead of 2.30 hrs with out it.
I strongly recommend Dr. Koratkar.

I had been living with chronic teeth pain on the upper left side of my mouth for almost 2 years and had no idea what to do. My old dentist was not very bright and kept telling me it might be TMJ related. I found a new dentist whom immediately suspected I may need a root canal and referred me to Summit Endodontics. Low and behold, I am in the process of having 3 root canals done, yikes! However, I am so, so thankful I found Dr. Koratkar as I would still be in severe pain this very day if I hadn’t. His entire staff is so kind and knowledgable — they always go above and beyond to make a person feel cared for and respected. I visited Dr. Koratkar when an old root canal started to go, at the recommendation of my old dentist. I was instantly provided fantastic service — he came in early, took care of the root canal, arranged followups, tracked healing, and passed information to my new dentist. His care was exceptionally professional and personally tailored, combined with an easygoing friendliness that put me at ease.
However it’s not just the great care. Dr. Koratkar’s staff is just as professional and personable as he is. From Greg at the front desk to Tanysha, his assistant, everyone is friendly, relaxed, and well-​organized. As soon as you walk in and get greeted, you realize these people are there to help you.
