They seemed nice but then they lied about my insurance, which cost me $ 200 out of pocket. They said my insurance wouldn’t cover the full cost of wisdom teeth extraction but upon further research, it would have been possible. Furthermore, they heavily underplayed the possibility of nerve damage (which could permanently paralyze half my jaw) to persuade me to go through and pay for the surgery. Take caution when listening to their advice.

Dr. Liu is very friendly, really seems to know what he’s doing, and gives his patients a complete effort. Looking at my bill, he does not overcharge either! I was also pleased to find that they were open on Saturday’s, which made fitting a dental appointment into my schedule that much easier! His staff is very friendly too!
If you’re looking for an honest dentist without paying too much, look no further!

Located in the nice clean city of Pleasanton. Had my first experience there, the staff and doctors there are nice and professional, had my filling done there for the first time and their equipment and materials there are top notch. The staff also speaks Chinese too so that’s a plus for some.
I’d recommend a first try for newcomers.

Impressive. This place is unlike the other dental offices that I’ve been to. My family and I’ve been jumping from dentist to dentist, trying to find one that was legit, as in they weren’t just trying to take your money and that they actually cared. We decided to try this one out after my father saw a commercial for it on an Asian television channel.
The interior was simplistic and modern. The overall color scheme was white, which made the place seem very clean and professional. It actually felt like you were walking into a legit medical office, which it was. The assistants/​workers were very polite and friendly!
I went in for a regular cleaning and I was very impressed with the dental assistant. She took her time cleaning each individual tooth and she went through all me teeth again to make sure it was super clean. I’ve never had that much attention in teeth cleaning before! Not to mention she was gentle as well! She also was very knowledgeable; she identified and explained what I was doing wrong with my daily routine. I felt like I was well taken care of.
Dr. Liu was also very professional. Never have I had a dentist check to see if I had issues with my jaw socket. He was concerned if there was clicking when I move my jaw, but there wasn’t so I’m fine! He went along with the usual procedures and, similar to the assistant, he took time catering to each individual tooth. There was no rush or urgency.
In all, I really enjoy the professionalism of this dentist. You feel well taken care of by the very knowledgeable staff. I think my family and I have found our dentist. Finally!

Dr. Liu is a great Denist and he is very professional. I had referral my whole family to see him as well as my friends as well. He is very knowledgeable on his profession. I really like the way he manages his office as well. All the staff, he chose were great and good at customer services. I had a deep cleaning with him for the whole mouth, I don’t feel uncomfortable at all. So, he is really good for his skills. I highly recommended him to be your denist.

I have had the pleasure of having Dr Liu work on my mouth for the past five years. I first went to him on the recommendation of a friend, who told me he offered reasonable prices for a transplant. He did a thorough examination, and was able to make the implant for about half the price I had been quoted by another dentist. The implant has been perfect. Dr Liu has also taken care of my other dental care since then. He is careful and has state of the art equipment. His staff is professional and courteous. He never does work that is not in my best interest, and his rates are always reasonable. He explains what he believes is appropriate, and then does what he says he will do at the price he has set. I recommend him to all my friends, and they have had similar experience. When I became eligible for Medicare, I thought it might be better if I found a Dentist that accepted coverage offered by my HMO. My first appointment there was a big surprise. The care under the HMO was more expensive than the care provided by Dr Liu. I cancelled the dental coverage under the HMO, and returned to Dr Liu. I have been very please I did. Thank You Dr Liu.

I had tooth implant by Dr. Liu about 3 years ago, I have been visiting him for my all dental treatments since then, at his Newark office 1^st then Pleasanton office after I moved to Castro Valley, the implant was so good, I don’t remember which tooth I had implant now, no different with others at all :-). I am totally satisfied with his hard work, and his team is very professional and friendly. I recommended Dr. Liu to 3 of my friends for implants and they are all happy!

Dr. Liu and his entire staff is great. I have consulted with Dr. Liu for dental lmplant in 2005 and he has taken on a great challenge to give me a new set of teeth. Due to my extremely rare condition of missing teeth, the implant took many years of planning bone graft and braces. Finally when all the hard work is done, the final result is amazing. I’m entirely satisfied with the way the implants turned out and really appreciate Dr. Liu’s dedication through all this time. It was different at times as the procedures and my circumstances were challenging to work with; but Dr. Liu was always meticulous and made his vision become a reality. Thanks to his professionlism and unyielding support. My teeth are now fully restored and look natural and beautiful! Many thanks!
