I came to this location to get new heels put on my Steve Madden boots. Jose did the job within about 20 minutes. He even polished them. They look amazing. Super excited to wear them again. I will be bringing my boyfriend’s dress shoes here for repair as well. $ 23 bucks. Done deal. Very pleased.

I alway find that my shoes last longer than the heel so I’m always trying to find a good place to repair them. I walked into the store and the guy offered to replace the heels right away which was nice as he didn’t have to. He replaced my heels on two pairs of shoes and polished them in 8 minutes and it only cost $ 15 per pair. Overall service is fast and friendly and I will be going here again.

Too bad! The guy didn’t punch holes in one line on my belt! My belt worth $ 500. And he said“just holes”.

Jose was very professional and courteous. I agree with everyone else here that he fixes shoe issues very quickly. I took my 9 month old pair of Johnston Murphy for sole replacement and he jumped right on it. 15 minutes and the shoe looked like new!

Fantastic! I stopped in looking to have my girls boot strap reattached and it couldn’t have been easier. The gentleman was working away on something and while I showed him the project he tells me it will only take a second. No kidding. I barely got to ask how his day was and he was ringing it up and done. Great stitch quality and super price!!! Definitely would go back!

I went in here at 3pm today. Within 15 minutes I got three pairs of my shoes repaired and cleaned. The prices are reasonable as well. It was $ 13 per pair so $ 39 for 3 shoes.
I also noticed that they repair Christian Louboutin red soles. I was told it’s $ 40 per pair. I will bring in my CL’s to get repaired soon.

Store also has a ton of gifts you can purchase. They engrave for free. If you buy it else where it’s $ 15 and up.

I went here because of the recommended Unilocal reviews. I dropped of 3 expensive shoes to have resole and shinned. Out of the 3, only the one I had shinned came out ok. One of my heels needed to be replaced and they suggested to also replace the soles, I am regretting that I did because the shoes are totally ruined. It pains me to even look at the bottom because he shaved part of the shoe down. Best part is that one of the heels isn’t nailed down all the way.
I hope the owner can make this right or I have a worthless pair of designer shoes.

Love this place! Always great customer service and he does such a nice job on my shoes… They always look brand new and often he will do the work while I wait or same day. Very pleased with the craftsmanship and his respectful. Courteous service. Just recently had 5 watches fixed with new batteries as well. Great place to know about!

Easy, no-​hassle repair and customer service. I was there to get one of my heels repaired because the nail was starting to show, but it’s my favorite pair! I was literally in and out of the store in less than 5 – 10 minutes. The nail isn’t showing on my shoe anymore!
Another guy was in the store getting the sole of his leather shoe repaired and the man behind the counter said it should take him about a half an hour.
Wow that’s fast! :)

I walked in with a handbag strap that needed to be shortened. He had me wait a few min and he was done. Very nice work, the stitching even matched up with the existing stitching. I’ll be back!

Alright, this is for the ladies! I have freakishly tiny ankles (sucks), therefore, when I bought ankle boots, the width around the ankle was tooo big, and for me, fitted ankle boots look the best! So, I decided to try to look for someone who could alter the width around my ankle boots. I called around and asked girlfriends, and no one knew of it being done. BUT wait, I finally called Shoe Stop Instant repair in Pleasanton, and they were able to do it! The guy did beautifully and perfect! My ankle boots are fitted and look amazing! He charged me 40.00, but for me that was a good deal… considering that I am getting it personally altered!
Anyway, I felt the urge to write this review in hopes of it helping all you ladies out there!

My 14 year-​old thrashed his $ 400 Lucchese cowboy boots in two months… heels gone, toes eaten alive. I Unilocaled «boot repair» and Shoe Stop Instant Shoe Repair was the clear winner. I stopped in around 11 AM, by 3 PM the boots looked like NEW! $ 30, that’s it! I’m impressed. Great job SSISR, you are a winner! Thank you!

This guy is fast and detailed! I gave him a pretty beat up pair of leather boots that needed the heal to be replaced. He made them look like new! I did think he was slightly pricey at first, but it was worth it because I have a brand new pair of boots again! :)

I wear through the heels on my high heels like crazy. But I love my shoes, especially when the leather is already broken in, I hate to see them go to waste.

I went in on Black Friday of all days and he fixed my heels right then and there, no wait and it was under $ 15! Such a great deal to bring back my favorite high heels :)
They also do a lot of other repairs and leather work. Great craftsmanship and quality.

Sometimes I hate being a girl, especially when I have to wear heels. Heels never fit me because my feet are tiny and they start to hurt. I decided to take a few of them here to get the front stretched. I always try to find flats first.
Turns out he stretched the front and the back so now they really don’t fit correctly. Also, one of my heels — the more expensive ones were a bit damaged in the front. It’s not super noticeable but still a little bit deformed. I was not a happy camper.
I will probably stop in here again because it’s a convenient location. Customer service is pretty much non-​existent.
Get in and get out. If I find a better shoe place though I will go there instead.

I think he could tell I was in a rush to get one heel of my stiletto-​pump fixed, so I guess he charged me more than I think I should have had– and I don’t care. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes.
Works for me.

I have a regular shoe guy, but after reading these reviews I thought I’d check out Shoe Stop Instant Shoe Repair. Well, the place lives up to the name, I had 4 shoes serviced in under 15 minutes. The guy gets two stars because of his amazing turn around time, and the fact that he was able to fix a pair of shoes that my regular guy said he couldn’t fix — and it took him MAYBE 60 seconds. He gets minus three stars because he replaced the heal on three pairs of shoes and he totally scuffed and made indent marks right above the heal peg from ‘buffing’ the new heal. I think he tried to cover it up with some sort of polish, but you can still very clearly see that the shiny material that is just above the heal has scuff marks now. They were all brand new shoes, never been warn.
So if your looking for speed, or if you need a repair that other cobblers wont touch, this is your guy. If your looking for flawless work… I’d check out Nic’s in San Ramon. They are not as quick… but you certainly dont end up with scuff marks on new shoes.

Nothing but good things to say here: Brought two pairs of shoes (one, being a pair I bought knowingly too small and wanted to stretch. Two being a pair of boots I bought in consignment that were in good shape but just needed to be re-​soled.) The man who owns the establishment is very nice and soft spoken but efficient. he asked exactly what I wanted, asked for pay up front which I gave, and asked If I’d like the shoes back within the day or two even.
Both pairs of shoes are great and he even shined them and made them look brand new. My boots are a miracle from how they looked before. I mean they weren’t horrible, but they were used and when I got them back I thought I had a new pair! I will never go to another cobbler again!

I took 2 pairs of shoes on Saturday — 1 to be reheeled and 1 to get a strap fixed. I didn’t think the strap could be saved but he made it work and it looked flawless.
I was pleasantly surprised when the guy told me to pick them up in 20mins. I thought I’d be leaving them overnight. I ran a few errands and came back in an hour and they were ready. He even made my pumps look brand new. I had a few scuffs in the heel but not anymore! =)
$ 20 for everything — what a bargain!
