We use Damon brackets, a self-​ligating orthodontic technology. The Damon System uses tie-​less braces and advanced shape-​memory wire for treatment without tightening. That means more comfortable treatment, fewer office visits and extraordinary results. We also offer Invisalign and Invisalign Teen.

History

Established in 2003.

Dr. Phelps and Dr. Cohen met while attending dental school at UCLA. Phelps & Cohen Orthodontics was established in 2003; the Pleasanton office was opened in 2012. Both Dr. Phelps and Dr. Cohen are members of the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association and the Santa Clara County Dental Society.

Business Owner

Dr. Eric Phelps graduated from the California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering then went on to purse degrees in bone biology, Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry. After completing his degree Dr. Phelps completed his residency with specialty certificates from both the UCLA School of Dentistry and the UCLA Center from Health Sciences.
