Spojmie Nasiri, principal attorney, is a first generation immigrant herself who understands through personal experience how difficult and emotionally draining American immigration process can be. Mrs. Nasiri’s education, community involvement and associations reflect her outstanding dedication in the area of immigration law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University, School of Law. Mrs. Nasiri is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Nasiri currently practices immigration law exclusively and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Mrs. Nasiri assisted me in bringing my fiancé to the United States from Iran. When I first came in to her office, I explained to her my situation and how I was not sure if I wanted to go with a marriage or fiancé visa, in which she talked me through each option and helped me decide which option worked better for me. Once I decided on going the fiancé visa route, she was there for me every step of the way and made this stressful process so much easier for me! As my fiancé is from Iran, I was worried there would be complications or issues along the way, but every thing went so smoothly thanks to Mrs. Nasiri’s help.
I appreciated how she was there to answer all of my questions and how she did such a thorough job on my case.
Overall, I had such an amazing experience and I highly recommend her office.

I have used the law office Spojmie Nasiri several times and have recommended her services to many of my friends and family. The first time I used the services was back in 2009. I had sponsored my parents for their Green Card and I did all the paper work on my own. The process had stalled and I was about to give up. Luckily I ran into Spojmie at a dinner party and started asking her questions about how to jump start my parent’s Green Card process. She helped prepare letters and other documents that I used to communicate with the immigration officers. Soon the process got moving again and I was able to complete all the necessary requirements. Now my parents are here in California and living with me. Spojmie’s guidance was invaluable and she went out her way to accommodate me as my schedule was very busy.
Since then, I have reached out to her for advice on immigration matters and recommended her to my family members. She has been instrumental in getting my extended family members’ immigration process approved. I know she also devotes time to the community around her and gives free advice to those families that can’t afford legal services.
Spojmie is professional, competent, thorough and extremely hard working. I highly recommend her!

Ms. Nasiri charged me 3000 $ for green card application. I feel disappointed of her service. My husband and I spent whole evening to correcte the wrong information in the online software her assistant put it in. Literarily, I wrote my personal information twice: once on the paper forms she gave to me, another time is to corect the wrong information on line. I wonder whynot I just write that directly on line myself. I feel it is a waste of time and energy. Also, I realized some information I put on the paper forms are not used in the software online. I wonder why I have to write it on the paper forms from the office. I am kind of regret that I did not apply green card myself. Some of my friends did that and it went through.

Spojmie Nasiri is the best! In the process of getting my wife’s residency, Mrs. Nasiri gave us no reason to worry one bit. That was one of the best decisions I could have made during this process. It was the easiest. Definitely worth it if anyone is unsure about going with an attorney to help them with this process or not. I could not have seen myself and my wife have to deal with the headaches and hassle of what is involved when dealing with this. You can never be too sure exactly how your case may play out. One would hope for it to go smoothly as possible but that may not always be the case. As with mine and my wifes situation, we had instances where if we did not have Mrs. Nasiri helping us and guiding us through this process we would not now what to do next. Me and my wife joke now that if we did not have her to help us and have that person to ask questions to then my wife would still not have her residency, haha. Mrs. Nasiri made us feel stress free and to not worry about a thing. That is a feeling that you cannot put a price tag on. Come the day of our interview, we had some nerves of course but when it was all said and done we realized the work that Mrs. Nasiri put in on our case because the interview turned out to be the least stressful part of the entire process. I contacted Mrs. Nasiri after calling a few other lawyers to get adjustment for my finance’s status to stay in US. I was told by other lawyers that they could not help us with our request. But Mrs. Nasiri took our case, and she was able to get a permanent residency adjustment for my finance in less than 5 months! She is very knowledgeable, honest, organized, and responsive. She has very reasonable fees, and she clearly communicates her fees up front before taking the case.

Our impression when first meeting Spojmie for the first time was very positive, relaxed, and reassuring — It remained so after a number of office visits, phone calls and E-​mails. This continued even up to the time that we shook hands after a successful interview with USCIS where my spouse received her approval for permanent residence. We believed that by Spojmie making sure that all of our documents and supporting evidence were in order (and her presence during the interview) — made for a quick and successful interview (including all of the USCIS forms and necessary documents summited before the interview).

While my wife and I were waiting at the USCIS building in San Francisco for our interview, we received a call from Spojmie indicating that though she had left the east Bay heading to San Francisco by BART (our regional mass transit system), with plenty of time to normally get to the USCIS Blgd., the trains had an unexpected delay that lasted over an hour, so she told us to wait in the building for her. Just as the interviewer called our names — she appeared! — She had run a long ways from the BART station (in hi-​heels) to the USCIS interview waiting room, and was calm and collected during the interview

Spojmie has done an excellent job in assisting me and my wife in our immigration case to get my status adjusted from F1-​Visa to permanent resident. Not only was she able to answer literally every question we had, she prepared all necessary paperwork very elaborately and far in advance, so that we had no issues at our final immigration interview. Spojmie is highly knowledgeable and competent, and provides fantastic service.
There are so many forms and regulations for marital based immigration. Spojmie took off the burden of research and the frustration of delay by having all answers and everything prepared and ready.
I highly recommend Spojmie for any immigration related questions. She is an honest professional in her field.

My husband was assaulted back in 2010, we heard about Spohmie maybe 2012 around December, we did not think we had a case, but we saw her and once she review his case he, she said there was the possibility of getting him a u visa. For what i recall she file the petition in March 2013, and in the beginning of December 2013 we had a call and an email from Spojmie, letting us know that US granted my husband the U-​visa, he has now his work permit and has applied to get Social security number and will get his Driver’s license. Thank You very much Spojmie, we are very pleased with your work. Don’t ever change.

My experience wasn’t good. My husband and I didn’t hire her because she told us about complications in our process (change of status by spouse) that finally never happened. We get scared and finally we hired another attorney in SF, and the experience was completely different.

My husband and I contacted Mrs. Nasiri to have his status changed after he had already been in the U.S. on a work visa for 3+ years. Mrs. Nasiri helped make clear all the documents we would need and how the process would go with USCIS. She was happy to answer any questions we had and if she didn’t know the answer she was prompt to research things and check with colleagues as well. First of all this review is long over due and I wish I could have done it earlier. I’m a small business owner in Concord, CA. and I would like to thank Ms. Nasiri for all that she has done for me in the process of bringing my wife to the United States. Ms. Nasiri and I applied for a Fiancé visa and the process took about a year, which was the normal time frame for anyone coming out of Afghanistan. I met my wife when I was overseas with the military and it was the best thing that ever happen to me. My dreams of having a little family of my own came from the help of this wonderful and thoughtful attorney. My wife has been here since December of 2012, she has her conditional green card and now we are a month away of expecting our first child next month.
