TL;DR clean & quick place to get your blood test. Phlebotomist is personable.
I had my doubts about LabCorp after reading the terrible reviews. Happy to say that I had a positive experienced. I was very nervous for my first blood test due to my fear of needles. Luckily the phlebotomist was patient and kind. She explained everything she was doing.
One word to describe their service: QUICK! I arrived at 11:20 am for my 11:30 am appointment, was done by 11:45 am! They checked my blood order, ID’ed me, took my sample, and I was free to go. No bruising the next day!
To the first timers who fear needles: the whole thing takes less than 5 mins to finish. You’ll only feel a small poke, THAT’S IT! I turned away and distracted myself by talking to the phlebotomist. Whole thing is not as bad as you imagine.

When someone is trying to help you don’t throw attitude out there your not going to survive without customer service !
I get it you guys are not tech savvy but jeez common sense !!! Seriously give these two something to train please not worth subjecting lost customer service !

It’s a very bad experience. I called and only got a voice mail telling me to reserve online. I booked a time, and got there on time, and waited for 15 minutes, and then someone showed up, and looked like she didn’t care my business. after I talked to her, I realized that I forgot to bring something and went back to get it. No customer was there when I came back, and she still asked me to wait, until the person for next appointment showed up, and she kept me waiting and worked for the new person because that person has an appointment. Come on, I came on time for my appointment too. so it ends up I spent one whole hour there for things can be done for 5 minutes.

I have been using LabCorp for all my blood tests in the last four months but I encountered a very terrible service today. When I walked into the office, there were no customers in the waiting area and the tech was nowhere to be seen. After a few minutes, I heard some noise in the back so I made some noise to let the tech know that I’m in the office. After another 5 minutes, she finally said (while she is still in the back room), «Just sit down and wait. I’ll be out soon.» When she was done, she slowly came out and took my information. Since I had some questions, I asked her what the process is and how long it would take. I have been taking the same test for the last four months so I know the procedure. When I received wrong information from her, I interrupted with another question. She got offended and said «Can you let me finish first?» with a very horrible (i.e. I’m right and you’re wrong) attitude. At that point, I laughed and asked her for my forms back because I can’t possibly let her take my blood now. I am very disappointed with my experience here, especially after using LabCorp exclusively for all my blood tests. The other centers (San Ramon, Danville) all have very good customer service and are very pleasant to talk to, but this location is notorious for bad service (this is not my first time at this location — had terrible service with the same tech last time too that caused me to go to another center.)
I will NOT be returning to this location due to the horrible customer service experience I encountered.

Rolled in early morning around 8:30 to get a few labs done (blood drawn). In my experience this normally takes a few minutes, especially at a place like this where it is essentially all they do. Well, that would probably be the case IF THEY HAD MORE THAN ONE EMPLOYEE in the bldg. The place was filling up quick, the lobby was sparse, no TV, radio, poor customer service — JUST JANKY!
I just had to bail and get back to work, I’m sure the employee either didn’t notice I left, or was relieved to see one less person in the lobby. Wack.

I really want to give this place more stars. I like Imelda who runs this office but, the cons are SO great I can’t. I just can’t!
Big, BIG mistakes on their parts. Mistakes that could have cost me my life. Truly.
I feel Labcorp trained their personal just barely enough. Everytime I come in Imelda has to call someone on the phone for more instructions or something.
And poor Imelda is ALL alone all day. And when someone like me comes in, who needs 3 sticks, others get upset.
Also I came in (1) day after I received the invoice for the previous months visit. And, again, Imelda HAD to call to get approval but was told that she was not to perform the needed blood work until I paid the outstanding balance. What outstanding balance? Oh you mean the invoice I JUST received yesterday? Ok, so I paid it not a problem. Then, I received a late notice the next week for the same bill I paid! Argh
Just poorly run and really non patient friendly policies. If I could use ANY other lab would. Btw, I’m serious when I said they did stuff that could have cost my life.
Don’t use this lab if you can choose another.

Slowest service ever! I waited for an hour and still have not been called. Never had to wait for that long at Quest Diagnostic or other places. The receptionist are rude. Never coming back here.

I went for blood test for their on Mohr Ave (previous John Muir’s facility). What a poor service, long wait, I cannot get copy of the report, my data from John Muir is lost, despite standing order neither they gave me a copy back and was told to bring new prescription from my doctor. Their service is far worse than John Muir at same location.
Now, I have a fixed copayment and they charged me $ 5.58 despite I paid copayment. I tried to call them three times, every time over 15min of wait time, finally when I got back to an operator, I explained him the situation, and person was so rude. They have wasted their time and my time to claim $ 5.58 which they should not have charged as they never gave me details what was not covered. My insurance company has told me I have only copayment as my responsibility.
I have been patient with John Muir and they have always provided great service. Never wait more than 2 – 3 minutes and never charges like this. I am looking for alternative and difficult to find as Lab Corp has monopoly in this area.

Cons:
— Much busier than the Labcorp in Milpitas
— One person doing all the paperwork and also drawing the blood (same as Milpitas location)
Pros:
— Much cleaner than the Milpitas location (like a medical facility should be)
— Friendly staff person — despite her being inundated with people
My major gripe with the Milpitas location was that it was definitely not what I would expect as far as cleanliness. This location was much better.

Had a good experience, book appointment online the day I needed blood work done, it was returned back to where I needed it quickly. Lady at front office was very nice.
If you don’t have insurance, payment is due same day.

I went looking for another lab that was in the same building, but they apparently moved a couple of months ago. Labcorp was not busy and accepted my lab orders. The woman receptionist turned out to also be the phlebotomist/​do-​it-​all person as she was the only one working there. She was pleasant, quick and almost painless.
However, my lab results were not sent to my doctor. When I tried to follow up, the phone number shown here on Unilocal,sent me to a recording twice listing their location, hours, etc. Two 800 numbers were given for customer service, one of which just rang and rang with no answer. Labcorp’s website has a ton of information, but no customer service number, only email contact.
I finally got through with one of the 800 numbers (1−800−859−7001) to ask them to send the lab results to my doctor. Hopefully they did… I’ll find out soon.

I visited Labcorp in Pleasanton for the very first time this morning.
Afraid of long wait time (varies with Location to Location), I took the time yesterday afternoon to set up an appt (AM) and the process was easy. I filled out form, gave my insurance info, confirmed that everything was correct, sent and I printed out the confirmation page, which listed my morning appt time.
Thanks to Google Maps, I studied the exact location so when I drove over to Labcorp, I was able to find the exact location no problem. The long hallways reminded me of the Labcorp in Mountain View on Grant Rd NOT to be confused with another Labcorp on 2500 Hospital DR building 11.
And, IF, the Labcorp here in Pleasanton had a hidden camera along the corridors, whoever happened to see me may have gotten a good laugh on behalf of myself. Rofl
So, Labcorp was in Suite 16, but when I walked down the hallway when I first got there, I was fine until I couldn’t locate Suite 16. Perhaps I accidentally missed it, I retracked my foot steps, but I still couldn’t locate Suite 16 since I was looking for actual numbers on the door itself. lol Then, I came across a Map, which indicated that I was, «Here,» and Suite 16 would be on the opposite direction on the right. I told myself, «Okay?» So, off I went walking off to the opposite direction, but the doors were all blank. I must have looked like a frustrated lab rat, wanting to get out. lol My appt was at 10:30 am and and the time on my watch read as 10:20 am so I had to hurry up. lol I walked towards the entrance I had walked in from originally, popped in my head in a random doctor’s office and said, «I’m looking for suite 16?» The girl said, «For Labcorp?» I said, «Yes.» The girl said, «Go down the hallway and should be on your right side.» I said, «Down the hallway and to my right?» Then said, «Thank You.» The girl said, «Uh huh.» So, I walked down the hallway, which I turned right and then, I realized these silver colored mailbox hanging on the wall next to the door. Sure enough, it read, «Labcorp Suite 16.»

I walked in and I see nobody behind the desk, but there were 2 guys sitting directly from one another, which one guy started talking not realizing that he had one of those wireless thingys. lol Not long after, this lady comes to the front from the back, takes a look at my insurance and not long after that, she invites me in the back, draw my blood and I was out the door.
Wow! My experience has always been so positive with Labcorp in general and I’ve always gotten really nice, friendly personnel to take care of me and my Lab work. I know in near future, I will be making more trips so I will be sure to come to this location. And, the lady who helped me was very kind and very professional.

I agree with one other Unilocaler: the man at the front desk needs to be courteous. He has been obnoxious at times. I sent a written complaint to labcorp but nothing changed.

The guy in front is obnoxious. He needs «smile» and treat people with respectable manner.

After trying to go to a different lab… that was packed full of unhappy people, this was like a breath of fresh air. We had an appt and there was only one person ahead of his. Richard was great with our son and it was an easy experience. Note that we went in the afternoon, and my doctor called me by noon the next day with the results. Richard did say to come in the afternoon as it is much busier in the AM.

Richard is the BEST. He is the only one that works at this location, so things can get backed up during busy periods, like first thing in the morning. But they accept appointments online. Anyway, I have gone to this lab 20+ times and I trust Richard implicitly. He is kind, compassionate, calm and extremely helpful. How he deals with running this whole place on his own is beyond me. They are closed for lunch from 12:30 — 1:30. I have never had a blood draw hurt, either. A true expert. Thanks, Richard, for all you have done for me!
