Jan-Pro of the Greater Bay Area

BAD COMPANY. This unprofessional company gave us an estimate, we signed a contract for services for one year, and two days before start the called to renege on the deal. Their estimator missed something, even though it was in the contract and job walk, and they wanted $ 100+ more a month or not clean everything. This is bad business practice and this is a warning to use reputable service providers. Seems they are a marketing company and even though they signed a contract, they couldn’t find any janitors to honor what they bid. Their marketing was great, but they are not reputable. BEWARE!

Horrible horrible company. I would not recommend them. I had them show up and not clean. I checked my alarm to see how long they were here and they would come for about 10 mins at a time. Clearly no one can clean an entire office in 10mins. They have also stolen items from us (we have them on camera). When i tried to work with management regarding any issues i had i was told that they would swap out crews (3 different times) and come to find out they never changed the crew once but lied and stated that they had (i was unaware as they clean at night and we work day shifts). Now i am being hounded to pay for a service that i never received. Management is absolutely horrible over there. This is the last place i would ever recommend. Go elsewhere, you will save yourself a headache and actually have a clean office!

While I can’t attest to the quality of the janitorial services, I can say that I had a very pleasant experience when a Jan Pro sales associate called my job today. We receive hundreds of sales and telemarketing calls every single day and I’ve grown accustomed to rude, irate and unprofessional salespeople. But the guy from Jan Pro was courteous, respectful and found out as quickly as possible whether we actually needed their services (because our janitorial services are handled by the building owner instead of individual tenants, we didn’t). He even offered to remove us from the call list and I was really impressed by his customer service skills! Had to write a positive review, even if it’s just for the sales and customer service department.

Giving them a bad review, seems like you can’t leave any kind of food or snacks out, since they will for sure help themselves to all of your office snack supply. Not a good representation of trustworthy service! It doesn’t feel good to purchase food for your office team, and have the cleaning service continously help themselves, along with tossing and throwing away items that are not meant to be thrown away, this includes tupperware, flowers, treats, etc. They are either being thrown away or taken home, makes one wonder. To top it off the service is mediocre, dust on chairs, spots on carpets and dirty bathrooms all the time. :(Not happy or satisfied with this service.

I tried to give this company a chance but after 2 yrs of horrible cleaning and no calls back when we have questions on the cleaning had to give them the boot. They’re customer service is horrible and when you have a question about the service, it takes two weeks to get an answer back if your lucky. We had our alarm go off in our building twice and when we tried calling the «Emergency line» there was never a response. Guess who got stuck with all the fees that we had to pay for the police to come out for a false alarm? We have finally hit our limit with them as no one in their company seems to care about customer service nor do they have pride in their service. Everyone from the cleaning people to management are useless. Can’t get one of them to give two cents about your business. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Save your money people because you will simply be throwing it away if you give them a try. Not worth it. Do not do it!!!
