Absolutely LOVE Dr. Wong and her staff. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 2 and now 34 so you can imagine how many eye Dr.‘s I’ve been to, however none has given me so much information and understanding about my eyes as she has! She’s very professional, very patient (as we’ve had to reorder my contacts a few times since my prescription is pretty high and tricky), and just overall a wonderful person and Dr. I HIGHLY recommend her

Absolutely the best service of any optometry shop or pretty much anywhere. Jasmine helped me get a pair of Smith Optics progressive digital prescription sun glasses that several other shops had told me they could not get. The lens are absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a shop that can get your prescription right visit Jasmine.

Also, this isn’t a knock against Future Vision Optometry, but anyone else think that vision insurance is seriously a scam? The «copays» and materials limits sure make it seem like the premiums don’t do jack. Looking at you, VSP.

Amazingly great!!! The doctor is professional, detailed, relaxed and friendly. The office manager, Jasmine, knows all about the insurance plans. Together, they assisted me in stellar fashion. Lots of modern, nice eyeglass frames that won’t break the bank. Good deals on contacts multi pack purchases. Lots of parking. Clean office.

My husband and I just had our first visit with Dr Wong! She is amazing! Hands down the best optometrist I have ever come across! She was super friendly and really helpful. I really love Dr Wong. She is caring and very smart when it comes to the eyes. She found some bumps under my sons eye lids that his previous eye doctor never checked. That is huge! Her personality is so cute.

Before I came in, the receptionist worked with me over the phone to find how I could best optimize my corporate VSP.
They have very modern equipment and Dr. Wong is super nice and professional.
They have a good selection of frames and didn’t push hard on the up-​sell options.

Great service and Dr. Wong is really sweet and kind. They did a good job helping me pick a cute frame. My old glasses were damaged because my dog ate one side. Dr. Wong tried to fix the glasses, but didn’t have the part. Dr. Wong provided information on where I can get the part. She also did a great job helping me get a cute pair of glasses I can see well with. I highly recommend her. She takes VSP too.

I’ve been going to dr. wong for many years at a previous location and she’s been amazing. I went to future for the first time since it’s more convenient and I was not disappointed. Megan, the lady at the front desk was very nice and super helpful. She offered me water and coffee and was just very professional my whole visit. They have a nice selection of glasses. Dr wong is very informative and communicates everything with you. She answers all my questions and is just amazing. I highly recommend this place especially if your insurance is vsp.

i had just started a new job in pleasanton and after reading reviews on this place I decided to check it out and I have never ever been happier I did. I have kerateconas and have never been able to find the right fit for contacts since I don’t tolerate rgp lenses but doctor Wong worked her magic and for me in this new rgp/​soft contact lenses that are the ultimate advance in the field for kerateconas patient. I literally wanted to give her a huge hug bc thanks to her I can see clearly woth contacts I wear them daily for 8 hrs and I thought I could never ever again wear contact… She is the best optometrist I have dealt with and treats her patients like queens… if anybody suffers from kerateconas will understand my pain and trust me you gotta go visit doctor Wong!!!

2015 update. Just had my annual visit, and they are so nice and friendly here. I don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else. And all the equipment is state of the art-​Including a new retina scanner that can look inside my eye-​Wow…
I saw Dr. Wong today and she was FANTASTIC! I wish I could go to the optometrist more often.
She is very professional and friendly-​Not stuck up like some Drs… I was seen before my appt. time, and she explained everything going on, so I did not wonder what was next. I would not even consider going anywhere else.

I came here after realizing my choices for glasses was meager at Kaiser, where I received my prescription. This place is right next to Kaiser, although hidden and next to the OfficeMax the next parking lot over. Thank you Unilocal for helping me find this place!
The girls here were sweet and nice and greeted me right away. I usually know what I want so I picked a pair of Raybans and asked about the price. They are having a spring sale, which is 20% your first pair, 30% second pair, etc. I saw they had a Unilocal coupon ($ 75 worth for $ 50) and they do not charge tax. I have a low prescription so I was able to get the simple plastic lenses with no bells and whistles for $ 89. Spring sale + Unilocal coupon + no tax = $ 206.20 out the door. For prescription Rayban glasses. This was much cheaper than Kaiser and since this place is close to work it made it convenient and easy.
My budget was $ 200 and this place was perfectly priced with all the discounts. Even if I had bought the same frames online and had the lenses done and fitted somewhere else, it would had been around the same price. Instead, I had them done all in one place and took less than a week to receive my glasses! I would recommend this place to everyone! I LOVE MY NEW GLASSES!

Dr. Ko was very professional and kept me at ease during the exam. He also was quite knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions.
The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful, especially Jasmine. They got us settled with frames we love (and that are suited to us), and made great recommendations on sunglasses as well.

Great experience from beginning to end. I’ve always hesitated to get my eye exam but the Dr. was so nice! She took the time to answer all my questions and was very thorough with the exam. The selection of glasses was so large that I had a hard time deciding on my favorite pair but the receptionist was kind enough to help me decide. All in all, the experience was better than I could have imagined.

Loved this place. I saw Dr. Wong and she is the nicest doctor ever.
First of all, they have such a nice selection. The way the frames are setup, it makes it easy to find what you are looking for. I have a very narrow face and I can never find anything in the adult section. I always have to get a kids frames. So, I walked straight to the kids section and Jasmine (the optician) pointed out that I didn’t need to get kid’s glasses and that they carry frames that fit me. I was thrilled!
Dr. Wong soon approached me and introduced herself. She offered me coffee which I was happy to take. We walked to the exam room and this was the start to the best eye exam I have ever had. She spent about an hour with me. She was so patient. I am very indecisive so when she asked if 1 was clear or 2 I couldn’t make up my mind :) She also spent a good time explaining what she was doing and why. I loved that the most about her!
As soon as I came out of my exam, Jasmine was waiting. Dr. Wong took the time to explain to Jasmine what I needed and what my prescription was. Jasmine had a tray of frames that she thought I might like already pulled out for me. She just saved me an hour of trying frames on. We sat down and the first frame I tried on was the one! She knew exactly what I was looking for. I was using VSP and she had pulled my benefits up and she informed me of my copays. The best was that I didn’t feel I was being pressured into buying or getting a certain type of lens. At the end, she told me I saved over $ 520. I was sooooo happy and my husband was even happier!!!
From start to finish, my experience at this office has been one of the best. From Dr. Wong’s friendly smile to Jasmine’s love of eye wear, Future Vision Optometry has my highest recommendation.

Went shopping with my family at the mall and decided to get my eyes checked since my prescription has expired and I’m on my 2^nd to last pair of contacts. Found this place on Unilocal,called and was told they take walk ins. After 15 min wait (browsed through a wide selection of name brand glasses and sunglasses), Dr Wong came and greeted me. She was very nice and thorough with the exam and asked a lot of questions since I told her my vision has changed very rapidly for the last 2 years. She was very knowledgable and educated me on proper eye care. First time any optometrist I’ve ever seen has taken the time to explain things so detail. She told me about some eye exercises I can do. I will definitely come back to see her. They take insurance and the frames were very reasonable.

After hearing great things from friends and family, I headed to Pleasanton from SF to give Future Optometry a try. It had been two years since my last exam and let me say that going to Future was the best decision I’ve made for my health. Not only was the place warm and welcoming, I was helped as soon as I got there. Jasmine, the receptionist was very helpful in getting my paperwork done and ready.
Dr. Wong came out and greeted me with enthusiasm and care. The eye exam was very thorough, more thorough than any exam I’ve had. She was very good about walking me through the process of getting a better prescription and she did not make me feel judged at all.
The next part was choosing my frames. Jasmine was very informative and had a great understanding of their inventory. She helped choose some Oakley’s and fitted them for my comfort.
Overall, the experience I had at Future Vision was beyond exceptional and I look forward to returning in the future. This place came highly recommended and my experience lives up to their 5-​star ratings on here.

Future Vision Optometry is the best! My entire family sees Dr. Wong and we love her! Dr. Wong is knowledgeable, patient, and a very pleasant person.
The front desk staff (Jasmine) is second to none! She is friendly and knowledgeable, and their hours are excellent.
