I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with other mechanics and was really hesitant whenever I would have to get anything more than an oil change. Nothing to be worried about at Autotron– they explain everything until I understand, offer me rides and pick me up when I can’t arrange for a friend to help me out. Highly recommend.

I feel like my car is in good hands when I bring it to service at Autotron. The folks there don’t try to milk their customers and only fix what needs attention. Other service centers would tell me that my alignment is off and needs to be fixed, or that my car needed a fuel system cleanse — none of these bogus tactics are tried at Autotron, which I really appreciate. For the last couple of years Autotron has really taken good care of my cars — everything has been working as it should.

Autotron saved my daughter and I $ 850 in my first trip to their shop. So glad to finally find our local shop for our car care! The dealer insisted I needed to spend $ 1200 for a new water pump and belt. I wanted to find a better place for our car care and scheduled time with Ryan to have a look. Not only was their work going to be $ 400 less than the dealer, they called early in the morning after looking at my car to say «if this was our car, we wouldn’t spend the $ 850 to replace the pump. It doesn’t need it yet». What a relief to find such a honorable team and shop.

Autotron did a great job o fixing my car. We had an unexpected repair, but their team kept us updated every step of the way. Ryan drove to Roseville to pick up a part for us, rather than waiting for it to be delivered the next day. We appreciate him going the extra mile. He didn’t charge us the full amount because he knew the bill was unexpected. They are courteous, fast and fair.

Above and beyond customer service! Broke down in the area on a rainy evening and they were one of the few shops still open and had great Unilocal reviews. Called 15 minutes before closing, got the car there, and the owner took care of me — even postponed his commute home so I could have somewhere warm and dry to wait for my ride! Very friendly, efficient, and car is running great!

Great job. They not only solved a problem that another mechanic could not but also brought me to work and picked me up again when the car was done. Very happy with the service.

The Autotron is a great place for your car. They made it so easy for me since I come from a far distance and they were kind enough to shuttle me to work. They were really accommodating and willing to answer questions and have reasonable deals for their services. I would highly recommend going there for your car services.

I received the most fantastic treatment from Autotron yesterday. My driver seatback, which has a motor to change the forward-​back, up-​down position, got stuck. It would go forward but not back to the desired distance from the steering wheel. After trying 3 times to get it to move, I was forced to squeeze in between the steering wheel and seatback, hoping I didn’t get rear-​ended on the way home to cause the airbag to deploy.
After calling several auto repair shops, I found Autotron in the Yellow Pages. Jennifer assured me she’d take me to work while they worked on my car, would pick me up afterward and take me home if they had to keep the car overnight, and would even pick me up the next day to take me back to work again! They tried a few times to release the driver seat position while I was there to no avail but would work on it that day.
At 5pm they called me at work to arrange to pick me up, telling me they couldn’t find a thing wrong and that the car seemed to have fixed itself. I still expected to pay the $ 225 diagnostic fee she’d quoted me earlier. Even though she, Colleen and another mechanic all tried during the day to get it to work, she assured me they couldn’t charge me ANYTHING as they hadn’t really done a thing to the car!
Plus, their invoice referred to me as «guest,» rather than customer, demonstrating even further the level of respect they have in their business practices. Since they refused to charge me for their time, the only way I can repay them is by giving this glowing review. I’ll definitely be using them in the future!

I can not tell you what a great experience I have had at Autotron! The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. It has been my experience in the past that you have to be on your toes looking for up sales and unnecessary repairs, I feel that Autotron tells it like it is and you feel you can trust them. If you need any repairs, I highly recommend Autotron!!!

I moved from Texas to Pleasanton last week, and right away needed some work done on my ’06 Frontier. I found Autotron via Unilocal and paid them a visit.
Ryan fit me into his busy schedule on a Friday. He clearly explained what was going to be done with my truck, and had fair pricing. He spent some time talking to me and it seems that he is a straight shooter who will get the job done correctly and efficiently.
I hope to have found a quality auto shop, and will certainly be back again, and provide a follow up on this review

It’s a harrowing experience when your car is stolen. In my case, it was found two weeks later in Oakland, with the engine jacked up and a few meth pipes in the cabin. My wife and I got the car detailed, and I went with the recommendation of a friend of mine, a classic car buff, to fix the vehicle. The transmission had to be overhauled and the engine had been overheating from a slow coolant leak. My wife and I found that Ryan not only returned the car to good condition, but he also handled the insurance details gracefully. We have since gone to AutoTron for all our car needs.
Ryan, the owner, is frank and honest has done good work on three of our cars now. We’ve since moved (the original car had been stolen from our parking lot!), but we’ve continued on with AutoTron. I have no reason to go elsewhere!
