I met Beau last year when we needed to replace our pool pump and filter. I called several companies prior to Apex Pools, but Beau’s professionalism, honestly and knowledge won me over. He knew we were working within a budget and found a great, solid system to meet our needs. Since the install, pump & filter have been running like a charm and pool has been much easier to maintain. Just recently, we were planning a trip and would be gone for ten days. I was pretty concerned that our pool would turn green with the warm weather we’d been having. This is where Beau gets six stars… After almost a year since we had spoken, I called Beau and asked if he could help set the timers on my system. Not only did he offer to help, he was there the next day and had us up and running. Beau genuinely has his clients’ best interests at heart and is an all around good guy. He is also quite entertaining to have a conversation with :) I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for pool service, equipment install, etc. Thanks, Beau!

Beau rebuild our entire filtration system, added a new heater and a new pool sweeper. He did the work a few months ago and has been extremely helpful in helping us navigate the mechanics of this new equipment. He is always highly responsive and friendly and has been an absolute pleasure to work with at every step of the way. I cannot recommend him highly enough and am thankful that he is so responsive, professional and trustworthy.

Since I’ve only met Beau twice and he’s only cleaned my pool for the first time, one may think the review is a little premature. Nevertheless, from my two conversations with him, Beau has been a great find! Great guy, knows his stuff, reasonable prices and loves to talk about pools! What else can you ask for???

We had a beautiful pool put in last summer and while it was not the best summer to do this (drought much?) Beau at Apex Pools has helped us tremendously. We had no clue about the operation of said pool, the heating, the water evaporation issues, the care and maintenance that needs to go into pools, but Beau is a god-​send. He is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and answers every call as soon as he possibly can, which is amazing considering most of the time you can’t get any call returned from any company. He is always ready with advice and help, even turning off the waterfalls that we had programed but couldn’t get to ever turn off!

Beau installed a new motor for our pool. He returned texts in a timely matter, had the motor in when he said it would be, and even came back for a tutorial on using it. A few days later when we had an unrelated issue with the pool filtration, he came back and helped us at no charge.
We would highly recommend him.

My old pool service company allowed our pool to turn completely green and then refused to clean it up. I contacted Beau to see if he could help clear up the swamp in our backyard. He quickly returned my phone call, stopped by within two days to assess our situation, readjusted our chemicals, scrubbed down the pool and cleaned our filter. Our pool is now sparkling blue and we’ve switched our monthly service to to Apex!

I was in need of having a new pool heater installed. I contacted Beau at Apex pools and requested the repair. Beau responded immediately and was able to do my replacement fast and painlessly. He was courteous and professional and I would recommend him to anyone needing assistance with their pool. He made sure I understood how the new heater worked and what I should do to make sure it ran efficiently. Any time I need further repairs on my pool Beau will be my go to guy. Fantastic work!!!

I had a small job, a leaky bib connection that is attached to my Polaris cleaner. He came out and took care of it fast. When he replaced the connection he had also notice I had a float that was broken on the Polaris and replaced that too. Great Job!

I had a serious problem with algae in my pool. I couldn’t clear it up, and get it to stay clear. I was devoting a lot of time, as well as money for chemicals.
I finally decided to seek professional help, and found Apex Pool Service through Unilocal.Beau was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. He treated the pool, and within a couple of days it was clear. I decided to have Apex provide weekly service. The quoted rate was reasonable, especially considering the time and money I had been putting in to it.
I have had the weekly service for several months now, and have had absolutely no problems with the pool. Algae has not returned, and chemicals are in balance. The Technician (Adam) who services the pool is very knowledgeable, and helpful.
Based on my experience I can recommend that you give Beau a call for pool service, or if you need any repairs.

Apex Pools has been servicing our pool for several months now & I am beyond happy with his service! Our pool has never been so inviting before! The technician is here like clockwork every week! I would highly recommend Apex Pools to everyone I know!

I hired them to service my pool last month. I talked to the owner Bo and asked him to make sure my chemicals and my pool water level were at the proper level and the skimmer and jet vac would be emptied of leaves. He agreed and told me the monthly fee would be $ 75. I agreed this was ok. I went on vacation for 2 ½ weeks and the chemicals were in balance when I got back but the water level on the pool was 5 inches below the skimmer level which can blow out the motor! The technician said he didn’t have enough time to run the water. I was very upset. I called the owner Bo and he told I needed to pay for the month and leave the check under the mat. Neither the technician or the owner ever said they were sorry for neglecting to raise the water to the proper level.

We recently purchased a home where the pool wasn’t taken care of. Basically was a swamp. Called around for estimates on cleaning the pool as well as repairing the filtering system. We got some crazy estimates and some people tried to sell us things we didn’t need.
When we called Beau, he was very professional on the phone and was flexible in setting up a time to come take a look at the pool. Beau is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with pools. We explained that we were working on a budget due to fixing up the rest of the house. What was great about Beau was he listened to us. He gave us different options and didn’t try to give us stuff that was out of budget or fancy knick-​knacks that we didn’t need right now.
He explained everything that he was going to do and was right on schedule. He drained and power washed the pool. He also fixed the pipes and replaced the filters (which was sawed through and the filter which was taken). He did an amazing job! Beau goes above and beyond for his customers. Every time he comes by we have a random question and not once did he rush us or seemed annoyed. After he made our swamp into a beautiful pool, we have signed up for the monthly servicing for the pool.

After my lovely NEW landscaper trimmed all my trees you can see what it did to my pool. No worries my next scheduled service with APEX POOLS was the very next day. I will take an after photo so you can see how great my pool looked– just amazing. Beau has been doing our pool for over a 11 years and is now like part of the family. You can’t find a smarter, more skilled, reliable, consistent service provider. The best thing is that if you need a repair he does it all as he is a fully licencsed contractor. Two years ago we installed a new heater and filter with our tax return and not only has it saved us money but it’s so quiet and way more efficant than our old equipment,

This company is SOOOOOOOOOOO awesome! I can’t say enough good things. We are renters of a home with a beautiful pool and hot tub that is our responsibility to maintain. We have never had this responsibility fall to us before and have had no clue what we were doing.
The first thing I appreciate is the strong communication and responsiveness. They always answer all our questions with a very professional and friendly response, and we always get answers very quickly and completely, there is never a delay.
Another plus is they are so quick on the turn around to get out to our house for service issues. From the very beginning they were out there immediately after we called and whenever we have had a few issues we didn’t know what to do about they did immediate service visits to check and explain to us.
Finally, they are very good at managing what can I’m sure be a difficult position to be in balancing our responsibilities as renters and regular maintenance, and helping the owner of our home to understand longstanding issues and being respectful of her position as well, making sure all parties are comfortable and happy.
From beginning to end its been a positive experience both with Beau and his service tech that regularly comes to our house, and has taken this very big job of managing a very beautiful pool/​spa we didn’t want to damage and had no clue of what to do with to being something we can let go of and just turn over to him, and simply enjoy our time in both!

My previous pool service was OK and this company was bought out by a bigger company and their service was acceptable. I started to look through my mail and found a mailer from APEX pool.
I called Beau and spoke him, extremely professional and friendly person. After we negotiated the service I made the change early this year. The maintenance has been good and I am very happy with the service.

Our pool had gone green… very green. We called someone named Mark out to take a look to see what they could do about it. Mark came out and claimed he was going out of town and didn’t have time to clean it up for us, and recommended APEX/​Beau to us instead. I called up Beau, he was super friendly on the phone, and he told me he would be out that day to take a look and would text me when he was on the way. He kept in complete contact with me and let me know when he was on his way, which I appreciate. After he looked at the pool, he contacted me with a price to drain and power wash the pool, take out our old rusty pool heater, and come back to properly balance the pool chemicals and for a month of pool service. The price was reasonable so we had him come out. He asked for a check up front, which I was leery about, but he explained it is because he leaves his pool pump to drain the water on site overnight. It makes sense, he wants to make sure his equipment is protected, so okay, I get it. He gave me his contractor license number and I left a check for him under the mat so he could start.
The next day after the pool was drained, he and one of his guys came out. Beau removed the heater while his employee power washed the pool. This was the first time I met Beau in person and he was incredibly nice and helpful, very genuine and down to earth. He answered all my questions thoroughly and politely. They cleaned up after themselves well, and he told me he would be back in a few days when the pool was done being filled and the weekend was over.
Monday morning he sent me a text message saying the pool supply place was out of one of the chemicals and he would have to come on Tuesday. That was no problem. On Tuesday morning he came over, after a considerate text message informing me he was on his way. He went to start the pool pump but it wouldn’t start. He checked the voltage, etc and deemed our pump/​motor had burned out. I was very upset with this news. He told me he would call later with pricing on pumps. We went back and forth all day, with never a complaint from him about my indecisiveness, he even offered to install a used pump he had on hand in order to save us some money. I told him I would get back to him when my husband got home so we could discuss the issue in person.
My husband got home and he went to look at the pump himself because he didn’t know how it could have burned out when it had just been working a few days before. My husband went to check things out and figured out the electric lines to the pump had been cut on accident instead of the lines going to the heater that was removed. It was an easy mistake to make because the conduit was crossed. He called Beau and Beau came back immediately to look at the wiring. He apologized and fixed the electrical right away and got the pump up and running. He even talked to my husband for about half an hour about pool fencing, salt water systems, etc. While the pump situation might sound fishy, like we were getting scammed, I don’t believe that was the case. Beau knew my husband is an electrical engineer, he never tried to pressure me into getting a new pump THAT DAY, and he was very apologetic for his error when the problem was found. I appreciate it when a person can admit there is an error and fix it without trying to turn it around to make it look like I am the bad guy.
One of his employees came back the following morning to finish up the chemicals and so far everything looks AWESOME. You can see the before and after pics of the pool. We couldn’t be happier and we are going to keep Beau on for our weekly pool service.
