Advanced Physical Therapy and Ergonomic Services to the Bay Area. Orthopedic and Industrial-​Ergonomic services that help restore health to Clients so that they can go back to work or recreational activities as soon as possible. Restoration of health is accomplished by combining the skills utilized from extensive orthopedic manual therapy and ergonomic training and experience. Current Licenses and certifications include: California Physical Therapy License, National Athletic Training Certification, WorkWell certification in Functional Capacity Evaluation –FCE, Functional Job Analysis and Descriptions, and PreWork Screening, CPR,. Clinic is independently owned and managed by a Physical Therapist.

History

Established in 2012.

The past 13 years the owner has been working at Sandia National Laboratories as a contractor serving clients on-​site. In that facility only people employed on-​site could be seen in the physical therapy clinic onsite or at there offices for ergonomic evaluations. The overwhelming positive responses from clients demonstrated a business need to provide the same framework of services around the community. It doesn’t work to be just a great hands on therapist treating musculo-​skeletal disorder, but forget about looking at probable root causes or aggravating factor that can be prevented or alleviated through ergonomic modifications. Owner graduated from the University of Vermont in 1989 with a Bachelor of science degree in Physical Therapy with an Emphasis in Athletic training with EMT licensing.

Business Owner

David is owner and founder of Advanced Physical Therapy and Ergonomics, Inc. David graduated from the University of Vermont in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy with an Emphasis in Athletic Training. Soon after graduating he got married and moved to Grand Rapids Michigan where he started his career working for the Mary Free Bed Hospital Systems. He worked in Michigan for a couple of years until his wife graduated from Nursing school. Once his wife graduated they looked in an Almanac under best rated place to live and Northern California came up.

He started working in Pleasanton California late 1992. Since that time he has Owned and managed several successful Physical therapy businesses.
