Christine is extremely knowledgeable on all the products. She gave us good recommendation on what we need. We brought Thermador hood, range, wine cooler, steam oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. She also has a great sense of humor which we like. Her other associates are also professional and courteous. I highly recommend buying from AAO.

Went to AAO American Appliance having had a poor experience at Airport Appliance in Hayward. Our sales rep was Cecil who was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. We walked out of the store with the same appliances $ 500 cheaper with free delivery, and pick up of the old appliances. At the end of the sale Christine offered her card and said to call with any questions. Excellent customer service!

I debated between 3 or 4 stars for a final review. If I went solely on my most recent experience with Christine, It would be a 5+! She is the owner and responded within minutes of my first review totally unaware of what had happened.
The issue with the phones and not being able to get through was explained due to a new phone system, but still wasn’t acceptable to me as a customer at the time. Also doesn’t explain why nobody responded to multiple emails. That aside, Christine went above and beyond «good» customer service to «excellent» customer service. She took over each issue individually. She overnighted the missing parts needed, had those they needed locally the next day and followed up frequently with what was happening by both phone and email. If she didn’t hear back from me, she followed up again to see that I received her message.
I gave her limited dates and times for my availability to be home. She made sure the replacement of panels, hoses and rearranging the washer and dry so doors opened correctly took place exactly when it worked for me. On top of making everything happen that I needed, she personally out of pocket sent treats for our family. She helped with a $ 200 rebate I was totally unaware of and further had the repair guys bring an envelope with a personal note and cash refund of install and delivery charges.
I didn’t feel right leaving a 3 star update since all I needed for my issue to be resolved was a response to my multiple phone call and email attempts. I upped it to 4 because of the very personal experience Christine offered. I couldn’t give a 5 because of the obvious previous issues.
Thanks so much Christine for caring about your customers at a personal level. She even gave me a personal number to call any time with any concerns. Both times the installers were professional and polite and Cecil too was apologetic once he was able to get back to me.

When you have a bunch of 5 star reviews from people with less than 5 reviews on their belt it should tell you something. I bought a complete Thermador setup from here because it was cheaper than Best Buy. Big mistake. I have had nothing but problems with my appliances. The thermador repair guy said they may have been remanufactured units that’s why I got them for so cheap. Not cool!!! Next time spend the extra grand and buy from Best Buy. And don’t tell me 1000 $ is a lot of money if you can afford a thermador kitchen. Lol
Now they think I’m a competitor huh? Believe what you want. A bunch of people with barely any reviews or an actual real reviewer. Buyer beware. Changed to one star.

Christine Nguyen was very helpful and had the exact range hood I was looking for on display. I was able to physically see it and hear it. We were in contact by person, phone, and email. And each contact experience was a please one. She was efficient and always got back to me and was able to order the range hood and get it to me in time for my remodel deadline. She was quick and efficient. I would definitely go back with any future purchases and would highly recommend this store. Thanks for all of your help Christine!

They go above and beyond to make their customers happy. What initially brought us here was that the refrigerator we had our eye on was hundreds of dollars cheaper here. We bought it here but the ice maker broke down within the first month. This is obviously not AAO’s fault. The manufacturer was going to fully cover the repairs. However AAO offered to replace it with a new refrigerator. We eventually decided on replacing it with a different brand. AAO worked with us with the replacement, charged us only the price difference (without additional charges for delivery and picking up the first one) and price matched to a big box store.
Christine was very friendly and helpful and the manager Sisal (sp?) was always willing to do what it takes to make the customer happy. There’s no reason to shop elsewhere. You get more personalized service here and they will price match.

Christine is a very nice and very professional person. I bought Wolf gas range, range hood and dishwasher from her.

We had a great experience with AAO and D’eanna in particular. My fridge broke the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they were able to help me find and get installed a new fridge Thanksgiving morning. Very impressive! Thank you!

I recently purchased a microwave from AAO. I had visited a couple of Appliance Stores but decided too do business with AAO due to knowledge and customer service. I had a microwave that is no longer manufactured and looking for a viable replacement to fit into my cabinet was a real challenge. When I first met Christine, she immediately found something close enough that she felt confident would fit into my cabinet. She also told me that if it didn’t work, they would take the microwave back and not charge me. Although I was a bit skeptical, I decided to move forward. The microwave was installed in 45 min after a few shavings and now looks perfect in the cabinet. Working with Christine was a very positive experience. Although we had a couple of hiccups in the sales process, she ultimately delivered the WOW factor with her service. She even followed up in email at 4:00am. I will do business with them again in the future!

We bought EVERYTHING … Sub Zero Freezer/​Fridge, Wolf 60″ Duel Fuel Stove, Wolf Steam Convection Oven, Wolf Wine Cooler, trash compactor, washer and dryer. When ordering high end appliances make sure you allow lead time — you can’t buy these off the shelf. Couple hiccups on delivery dates — but seriously — not the end of the world. I would suggest sitting down with Christine and Wilson to map out requirements /​delivery /​etc. My go to «contractor» guy worked very well with AAO Appliance team — so any questions that came up or issues needing worked thru the team figured it out. I also loved that AAO Appliance took American Express as a payment option (helped boost up my points).
I really appreciated Christine and Wilson wanting to make sure our experience was a pleasant one. Dealing with the public can never be easy — but they made the entire process easy.

We purchased a full set of Wolf appliances from Christine at AAO Appliance. We had a few little hiccups with our appliance purchase but nothing major, and Christine our salesperson was top notch. She resolved our concerns and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy in every way. We are so happy with our appliances and our installers Pedro and Juan were awesome. They had a couple of installation issues to deal with that were not their responsibility to make right, but they worked hand in hand with our contractor and resolved everything quickly and professionally. Thank you AAO & Christine for making our kitchen dreams come true. This place is a good place to shop!

Love these guys! Best ever. I love them, my clients love them (I’m a Realtor, so I refer a lot of providers to clients). They always come through with the best product at the best produce, and always with a smile. They are fast via email or phone. Currently I’m loving working with Christine — so conscientious! But I’ve loved the other people I’ve worked with there as well.

Not only did I get the appliances I wanted (Miele Little Giant Washer and Dryer and Stacking kit) at an unbeatable price, but got the absolute best service from Christine who works there. Texts, follow up emails, calls and extremely helpful and courteous service before during and after working hours. She went over and above to ensure I was happy as a customer… and I was. I would highly recommend speaking to her and using AAO for your appliance needs.

My wife and I were in the market for appliances for our major home remodel. We had made a decision on the appliances and what we wanted. I had found an ad for the exact range that we were looking for here at AAO.
At the time they had a promotion that would include a free dishwasher with the purchase of a Wolf range. Well, we ordered the range from them. Turns out, they can no longer be a Wolf and Subzero dealer because they had violated selling terms set by Wolf/​Subzero.
My advice, STAY AWAY! If the deal sounds too good to be true, its a warning sign! And further more, I was wondering why Wolf and Subzero did NOT have them listed as a license reseller. Now our project is 6 weeks out from completion due to the exact range being on back order.
Lastly, their Livermore showroom is depressing with minimal displays. We took our business to Friedman’s which have actual working displays! (read my review for Friedman’s)

My rating is based on their pick-​up and delivery service only.
I sold my home in Dublin and needed to get my new fridge to Fremont. I called around and no one offered to deliver if the item had not been purchased at their store. Needless to say I was frustrated and stressed with only days to move.
I then saw an ad for AAO. I gave them a call expecting defeat. Instead, Deeanna called me back with an excellent quote. Their guys picked up the fridge on time. Were courteous, professional, and delivered and hooked up my fridge with great care.
I would definitely use them again.

Excellent prices, knowledgable staff and great customer service. I spoke to Rose several times before purchasing, she was very clear in her answers and really worked to find me the best deal.
