Fast and friendly service. Excellent sandwiches with so much flavor! They have a great selection of unique condiments and they have Boudins sourdough and dutch crunch bread. Yum! The sandwiches are huge, big enough to share. This will be my go to sandwich shop. I’m looking forward to trying their soups too.

I tried the sandwich called The Captain and it was great. The staff was friendly and I got a sample of bread pudding while I waited. It’s worth at least trying once. I’ll be going back.

Service: WONDERFUL! The people are energetic, welcoming, and happy! The customer service was fast and efficient. Great team work amongst one another. They reassured me that my first visit would be a pleasant one, which it was! Food: Not your average sandwich, that’s for sure! Their sandwiches are huge and so delish! Mmm… I got — «The First Responder» on «Fire»(toasted) with the«First Alarm»(garlic spread) on Dutch Crunch bread. My sandwich was packed with meat and vegetables. The sandwich was so big, I could barely finish half it. Not Recommend: Potato Salad. Definitely not like the potato salad, in my opinion as well as my co-worker’s opinion we both thought the potato salad had too much vinegar. I’ve yet to come back and try other sandwiches. Don’t forget to not leave without your Siren’s stamp card. After 10 sandwiches — you get a free one!

This place is really good. I frequently come all the way from SF to PH just for Kinder’s when I’m craving a good sandwich. When I saw all the reviews for Siren’s, I was skeptical, but after just one bite, I fell in love. I had a toasted«Inspector» and it was amazing. The staff is extremely friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Just opened and it is so yummy. I am all about supporting local business and this is a sandwich shop you must try! They offer fresh squeezed juice as well which I love! The juice was so filling and so flavorful! The best part is this place is within walking distance of my house! The staff was very friendly and funny! I urge everyone to try. You will not be disappointed!

We live nearby and try to support local businesses as often as possible. Lunch: have tried several of the specialty sandwiches, both on the bread they come with or substituted with a wrap when I wanted something lighter. The combinations are yummy and all the veggies and sauces taste fresh. Breakfast: We have started a few weekend mornings with a 1st One Up breakfast burrito before we run errands or go about the day. It’s a great quick breakfast option and the sauce on the burrito is delicious. They have other breakfast sandwiches as well. Staff is always very friendly and the menu offers a lot of variety. I need to try the juice bar, pastries and soup of the day! Everything I have had so far I devoured.

I can see why this place has good reviews with fresh ingredients, fresh bread delivered daily and friendly service but it was just ok for me. The sandwhiches are huge but it’s mainly the roll that is huge. The filling inside including the meat does not even out the bread to ingredient ratio. If you like to fill up on carbs than this is the place for you. I got a roast beef on sourdough roll with the 3rd alarm sauce which is more of a garlic, pesto sauce. There was way too much of the sauce that every bite was just garlic pesto sauce. The bottom of the sandwhich was also wet due to the excessive sauce spilling over. Like others have said, the sandwhiches need more meat. The ingredients were pretty cold, like refrigerator cold but maybe I should have gotten it toasted. They do not have any seating available so it’s a take out spot but do have parking lot on the side. Prices range from $ 8.75−10.00 with a juice bar.

What a Fantastic Find!!! I couldn’t have been happier looking on Unilocal in pleasant hill for a sandwich shop and finding Sirens! When we walked in we were given the star treatment, being handed samples of their delicious on tap kombucha, & black bean soup. Their service was fast, friendly and the sandwich… oh Man, the sandwich was HUGE, big enough for a fireman’s appetite and SOOOOGOOD!!! I will definitely be going back and referring people to eat here!

Saw this place as a «hot new business» and we are always up for trying a new sandwich shop. This is a small, unpretentious place with fairly decent parking. FYI, this is take out only. Ordered a make your own turkey sandwich. I got it on the sour dough roll. Comes with most every veggies and cheese. Bread was great BUT you need to add more meat, etc to the sandwich to stand up to the humongous roll. There is a well designed menu dedicated to the fireman. Hot or cold sandwiches, side salads, etc. Family owned and friendly staff.

Siren’s Sandwich Shop follow a recent trend whereby Q’s, sammie, and subs shop have firehouse themes. unlike the others, Sirens lack a professional finish re customer service. not so efficient but very cordial and neighborly, i.e. soccerr moms. Siren’s offers Kombucha, smoothies, sammes, mountanos family coffee but not all stations up and runnng, just the sammies. no doubt if u wanted any of the above, u can get it. eats: «tillerman»(9.25) -«corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, russian dressing on earthgrains rye bread» smallish, deliz, fulfillng. passed on toasted option. crumbs: –sammies named after fireman’s positions –sammie not a sub, better bread used. more meats than«fireman» theme sub chain. better value too though it’s a simple sammie. spicy upgrades available(alarms…) –no sitdown space. small shop with just service counters… –service cordial, ASAP. –parking lot available.

This is a small sandwich shop located next to a produce shop with ample parking nearby. No tables inside or outside so everything is to go. I ordered the First Responder on sourdough and my wife ordered the turkey with cheese on sourdough. My sandwich was to come with ham, mortadella, salami, provolone, roasted red peppers, lettuce and garlic sauce. I added tomatoes and some of the alarm sauce. Got home and discovered they left off the provolone cheese. This is the story of too much bread for this sandwich. I started by scooping bread out and then went to just one side of the roll and tossed the other. The sandwich maker did not dress the one side and therefore the sandwich was very dry. Don’t get me wrong, they are as big as Fred Mertz but too much bread overwhelms the sandwich. My wife felt the same about her turkey and therefore was a bit disappointed too. This is a family run business and I hope they make it in this very competitive market. The owner is very nice and engaging but I think my sandwich maker was new and perhaps not trained well. We might give them another try but this is as I eluded to a very competitive market. Perhaps in time we will revisit and hope for better results.

New sandwich spot down the street in little old Pleasant Hill? Of course it eventually deserved my try! The reviews seemed promising: fresh sandwich options, Boudin bread, lots of different meats, cheeses and veggies and a $ 10 round price for a sandwich I could probably save for later and split into two? Or at least, I thought so… I came in for a quick sandwich lunch pick-up with my brother on a Wednesday and we decided to split The Fireman’s Bride: roasted eggplant, red peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, havarti cheese, lemon hummus on ciabatta. «On fire» = toasted, and the flavors of the fresh veggies melted well together. But once we opened it, it was obvious it was enough for one person to eat. Each half was about 2 inches in size and wasn’t enough for us to split. I decided to ALSO order The Fireman’s Daughter: white bean pâté(think of it as a white bean hummus), avocado, cucumber, tomato, carrot, sprouts and garlic aioli on ciabatta. This sandwich was better cold with the fresh veggies. Full of flavor, nice avocado and hummus mix, wish there was more of a veggie«crunch» as there was hardly any sprouts inside. Each half was about 2 inches in size as well. I also wanted to try their juice for a morning pick-me-up and debated between the Morning Greens Glory(kale, spinach, lettuce, cucumber sweetened with a strong apple and lemon taste) and the Peach/Pear Delight(sweet potato, pears, apples, dash of cinnamon on top). The second was obviously a guilty pleasure, as I wanted my morning greens so I opted for the classic green juice(small $ 4.50, large $ 6.75). The friendly guy made it on the spot and it tasted very fresh and sweet. He also made samples of the Peach/Pear which were to DIE for – definitely a very creamy and sweet treat that is made fresh and healthy. Both very different, but if you’re not too into juices, I’d suggest getting the Peach/Pear Delight for a creamier, healthy blend. Staff was very friendly. The man going around shop was offering samples of the Kombucha on tap. Seems a little run-down(then again, this whole corner-store plaza kind of is), but it does the trick. Kind of expensive for the sandwich compared to the size(I wonder how other people’s sandwiches were SO much larger in comparison to mine! Were they out of bread or did their bakery downsize their rolls?). The pricing is generic for a sandwich shop, but I’d much rather frequent Walnut Creek’s Morrucci’s for to-die-for sandwiches full of flavor, packed in size and large in comparison… Though the local location here is nice.

New to the area and this sandwich shop already had a following. The place is in a nondescript shopping center near the Pleasant hill border. It was hard to find at 1st because the front is on a busy corner, but they do have parking in the back lot. They don’t have a designated area to eat but definitely a good place to grab a sandwich to go. They have a lot of choices and lots of ingredients to choose from. Average range for sandwiches is about $ 8 – 9 range but you get your money’s worth. I had the Inspector special which had Chipotle raspberry dressing, Turkey, Avocado, with lettuce, and tomato. I had ordered it on Dutch Crunch bread which I was told was from Boudins which is brought in daily from the City. The lil ones had a custom sandwich which was Pastrami, Black Forest Ham, Cheddar cheese, with lettuce and tomato on Sourdough. They also had it toasted which is on «fire» which is their term. They both were quite large and definitely worth the trip to Phill. The place also offers fresh squeezed juice from their Juice bar and had some chips and cookie options. They accept cash or credit card Via Square. Great place to go if you wanted more bang for your buck and want a Ginormous sandwich at a decent price.

Sandwiches are large in size for $ 10, but once you open it up there is hardly any meat! a giant sub roll is not good if the sandwich maker was stingy on the meat. I paid extra for«2 meats» instead of 1, and literally got 2 slices of ham laid flat on a 12″ sub roll for the additional $ 2. Also pretty thin on the other toppings, overall unimpressive in the sandwich build, though tasted OK. Everything is fresh, etc, people were nice. This place is new and likely still getting their sh*t together. Has potential. Will give it a couple months and likely try again. Lunardi’s, Larkey Market and Mr. Pickles all win over this spot at the moment.

Right next door to the fruit stand where I stock up on produce. I swung by with my kids and had to try a sandwich. The staff was friendly and obviously excited about being in business.(It was their second day.) The specialties weren’t posted yet, so we made up our own roast beef sandwich. It was HUGE — more than enough to feed three! Really excited for this new local business!

I got a 2 lb Italian sandwitch on dutch crunch. The meat is high quality and the bread is fresh and tasty. The sandwitch reminds me of my favorite sandwitch shop genovas in Walnut creek. I will be coming back for more soon. The sandwich is massive included a picture with a banana for scale. The staff is friendly, they even gave me a sample of their kombucha on tap. If I didn’t have a fridge full of the drink I would have gotten one. The cinnamon Jolly Ranchers in the bag was a nice touch.
