History

Established in 2007.

I am at the same location for 9 years. I graduated at Western Career College in San Leandro at 2006. In the past few years, I keep learning and taking classes to improve my skill. Working out to keep myself healthy so I can give a good and positive energy to my clients. Fortunately, I meet many good clients and many good friends. Also I have a good landlord too.

I was having terrible pain behind my left shoulder blade. I was headed out towards Pleasant Hill to run errands & I figured I should find some time for a quick deep tissue massage. I found this place on Unilocal and made an appointment. I was not disappointed.
I told her exactly what I was feeling and where. she went to work. She asked questions as she worked and she spent extra effort to really work out the tightness behind my shoulder. She placed my arm in several different positions to expose the area under my shoulder in different ways. After an hour deep tissue massage I felt very relieved from my pain. I would definitely book here again.

If you are looking for an AMAZING massage than go to Mei Ling. She can make you feel like you are floating when you walk out. I found this place through Unilocal and decided to give it a try because of the reviews. My previous massage therapist has retired from the industry so I had to find another. JACKPOT!!! I got a one hour full body massage and it was incredible. She was able to work out all my knots I had in my back that were bothering me for a week. The room is very relaxing and inviting and the table… heavenly!!! A heated massage table is just… wow!!! I felt very comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. I will definitely be back!

I’ve gotten massages at other places and other cities but nothing comes close to how great this massage was. I got a 1 hour full body massage and it was nothing short of excellent.
You don’t need an appointment and I was lucky enough to walk in as she was finishing with a different client. The environment made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, and that heated bed is heaven! Mei Ling has the best hands, bottom line. She got rid of all my knots and pain I had all over my body. She took her time and I did not feel like she was rushing at any point. I definitely recommend you stop by and get a massage from her, she works magic!

I just moved to Walnut Creek and, based on the stellar reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. I was able to get a last minute appointment today and my 60 minute massage was amazing! My only complaint is that I wish there were 2 of Mei Ling so I could bring my husband in for a couple’s massage. I will definitely be back!

I had the most incredible 90 minute massage I have ever had from Mei. She is truly gifted. I suffer from Chronic back pain for the last eight years, and have had numerous spinal surgeries, shoulder surgeries as well as knee surgery. I’m a train wreck yet Mai was able to give me much relief from my normal pain. May was also able to give a really deep tissue massage while being careful of my recent surgical areas. Mei Ling is amazing! I called trying to get an apt last minute as I was dealing with horrible shoulder pain from a previous sports injury. The pain comes and goes, but when it comes it keeps me up at night & pain killers hardly make a dent. She got me on the table & immediately went to work while I walked her through my issue area. Not only was the massage wonderful, getting into the deep tissue areas under my shoulder blade, but she also gave me suggestions for an easy smoothie I could make for an every day regimen to help with pain & inflammation. A session with Mei Ling was last minute as I have just relocated to this area and felt the need for a massage. I have since returned for not only stress relief but some injury therapy. She listens to what needs work, recognizes it as she does, and puts the perfect amount of pressure and stretching to work on the sore points. Definitely recommend. I look forward to every visit.

I have been using Mei Ling for almost 10 years. She is an amazing massage therapist. She is deep but light and just perfect for whatever you may need that day. She he has a very unique approach that is both very calming and very effective. She employs stretching, deep tissue, swedish and other techniques. She is one of very few massage therapists who are able to get in and calm down my middle back muscles. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great massage, whether it is just to relax or to really dig in deep and work on some specific tied up areas. She runs her own spa and so she can usually find a time that works for both of you. I wholeheartedly recommend Mei Ling.

Amazing therapeutic massage! We keep going back because Mei Ling has healing hands for the neck and back. You don’t even have to tell her your problem areas as she finds them and works on them right away. Highly recommend as she is excellent at what she does! She has even provided me with exercises and stretches to help strengthen my neck.

Based on what I read I called Mei Ling. Fortunately for me, she is as awesome as her reviews!
I went in yesterday unable to lower my shoulders they were stuck lifting toward my ears. I kid you not, and the stress I was carrying in my shoulders and back were effecting my legs too, stiffness was setting in rapidly. She worked on my shoulders and removed several knotts! She worked all the muscle groups and stretched my limbs! Thank you Mei Ling! I slept well and feel so much better today. I have far greater range in moving my head an neck and my legs.

I wish I had found this place before. Mei ling is amazing and very talented. The massage room is tranquil with a water fountain, fresh flowers, soothing music, elegant décor, soft light and an overall calming ambiance. Skill, customer service, and price were all 5 stars. Mei Ling is The Best. A lot of Asian massage therapists don’t speak English well but Mei Ling is easy to talk to. She asked what was bothering me before starting and she took great care of me. I had a sore back and she used ice packs along with a lot of stretching during massage. no other masseuse has ever done that. If you need a massage, Serenity Garden Spa is the go to massage spot in the area. I’ll be back.

I have been using Serenity Garden Spa as my 1st choice for massage therapy for the last few years. I am very happy with the professionalism and care that I receive there. I schedule an appointment with Mei Ling monthly since I spend a lot of time behind a computer and work out to keep lean and fit. She gives me a deep tissue massage that relieves my tightness and tension, and I feel very relaxed when I leave.
I have tried other massage studios, but those therapists didn’t have the knowledge and experience that she has. For the price, she is well worth the money and you will want to be a regular. She is really good looking too.

I was in desperate need of a good massage after spending a whole week putting furniture together for my new apartment. I did a little research and found that this place was both close and got pretty good reviews.
Mei Ling was on her way out, but said she could make an exception… and I’m really glad she did! This is not one of your run of-​the-​mill amateur places. Mei Ling clearly knows what she’s doing!
She started by asking me if I had any conditions she needed to know about and which areas I wanted her to focus on. From that point on, it was perfect — the right amount of pressure, the right techniques, and the right places.
I had a terrible back ache going into this and walked out like a new man! Thanks, Mei Ling!
PS: For you folks that gave this a poor rating, I think you owe her a second visit.
