There’s a few too many negative reviews here regarding this facility. I have no complaints. I came here around December 2015. Been coming here biweekly for a few months now regarding lower and upper back pain. My pain started off being minute but became chronic. I was not able to sleep as I would wake up in so much pain I couldnt move. I was not able to move my neck forward nor could I turn my head left and right without it hurting.
I went to a different chiropractor at first but he just overcharged me and wanted me to spend a few grand right off the back. That was a big RED FLAG to me especially since it was my first visit! So I left that place and went here to Pleasant Hill Chiropractic Center.
Dr. Haley and his team are very friendly and helpful. His prices are affordable and he knows what he’s doing. Anyway, I came here because I was referred to this place by a co-​worker. Best decision ever. The very first visit helped TREMENDOUSLY. Although the pain was still there, it significantly decreased! I guess to scale it off, my back pain was ¹⁰⁄₁₀ and on my first visit went down to a ⁴⁄₁₀. Been goin here since. I would definitely recommend this place.

I am not going here again. Let my bottom line be my top line. I see comments from William Haley so I’m sure you are reading this. Looks like William has a habit to raise his voice like a school teacher. My chiropractor referred me to this guy and I was to have a knee X-​ray taken. He was referring a book to do that. He also told me he has 30 years of experience in doing X-​rays but doesn’t do knees. Then why would he even take up this one? I see a review written in 2013 and that reviewer mentioned William said he had 25 years of experience. So William, you gain 5 years of experience in a year? Wow! How??? and on the spine X-​ray, he told me to hold a walking stick. I held it with one hand. He said hands. I didn’t catch that up obviously because I don’t get X-​rays done everyday. Then he said HANDS… Then I asked him Both Hands? Then he went inside and took out the knee X-​ray and it didn’t come up at all. So had to do it again. He also made be wait for like 15 – 20 minutes on that lousy gown after my knee X-​ray. and then came back telling me I was scheduled during lunch time. Mind you, he had his lunch and then came to attend me. I told him I didn’t have my lunch yet.
Oh yes. I went to my chiropractic and learnt that the X-​ray didn’t come up well. So all my time/​effort is wasted.

Looks like you treat patients like customers. That’s the best thing a Doctor can do. I see you actively commenting on negative reviews. Hope you give at least one ‘Thank you’ comment for people who liked you. You think Unilocal as a weapon of mass destruction. I think it as a tool of mass construction. May be that’s why you are so defensive. I have Achilles tendinitis and you made me wait for 20 – 30 minutes in that lousy gown with the door open where your other patients could easily see while walking around; Even if I didn’t have Achilles heel issue, you shouldn’t make anyone wait that long in that gown. And then you come and ask me about my work; At this point of time, I am more interesting in having my X-​ray taken and getting out of your office ASAP. Of course, I was yet to have my lunch. Also on your X-​ray, the doctor commented that she couldn’t see the /​Thoracic’ part. It was very hazy (side view). When I spoke to my Doctor, she told me that they have heard a lot of people having similar comments about you.

I am one of the skeptical ones who went to Dr Haley in desperation when I could not move my shoulder. Even with my somewhat questionable attitude Dr Haley patiently treated my shoulder to astounding results. No surgery or pain killers needed and I have better movement than before my injury. I even found the side effect of no more neck pain which I had lived with for years blaming it on stress. I feel better after the treatments than I have in years. You will not regret visiting Dr Haley for any aches or pains.

I’ve never had a Dr take the time to explain and have a conversation with me regarding my issues like Dr Haley. His office is clean, warm, and soothing. His professionalism is top notch. I feel I’m in great hands, and trust him completely. It’s hard to find good doctors like this one…

NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL BE SO UNPROFESSIONAL. To be fair, I was never actually treated by any «doctors» at this place but my chiropractor had me go to this place to get an x-​ray. The lobby is quite old, shabby and run down. They make people dress up in hospital gowns in order to get the x-​rays done but these gowns are so thin and worn that I’m surprised that they give these out for patients to wear. Anyhow, the young lady at the front desk was relatively accommodating and friendly but it was the «doctor» or person that took the x-​ray that was the issue. I was given an old gown, asked to go into a changing room to undress and get into the hospital gown and open the door when I was done. I undressed and as I was just securing the back of the medical gown the «doctor» knocked on the door and I said come in. He rudely said, «I said to open the door when you were done.» As it happens, I was just finishing when he knocked so I didn’t get a chance to open the door. We then proceeded to go into the x-​ray room. He did some quick measurements and then asked me to back up (against the wall in order to take the x-​rays) but I heard stand up (thinking he meant to stand up straight and don’t slouch). He asked me again to back up with a more raised voice and I noticed that he was doing everything in a rather rushed way. None of the things up to this point had made me question anything about this man nor did I have a negative opinion of him as I simply shrugged it off as poor bedside manner. The problem came right after he had asked me to back up the second time when he muttered something under his breath and derisively said to me,“THIS IS OBAMACARE.” At that point I was just thinking in my mind, I can’t believe what that man just said. I would have walked out at that moment if it were not for the fact that I was undressed and he was literally just about to take the x-​rays. I just bit my tongue and did as he directed, got dressed, waited for my x-​rays and got the heck out of there. I don’t oppose people expressing their political beliefs but there is a time and a place and a doctor doing so in such a derisive manner and while they’re attending to patients is just plain wrong.

I decided to visit Dr Haley after my hair dresser suggested him. At the time, I was seeing another chiropractor and was happy. However, Dr. Haley was closer and the 30 minute massage prior to my exam was included in my copay … so the two benefits lead me to try him out.
Let me say he is night and day better than my prior chiropractor, whom I liked at the time. Dr Haley is SMART and knows a lot about bodies and how they function etc. He teaches you about what not to do… instead of rushing you through in a 30 minute time window.
Finally, Vanessa his front desk assistant is terrific. Could not ask for a better staff. His massage therapist Janel is equally as talented.

May 2013: I am STILL a patient of Dr. Haley. Every time I do something stupid, like forgetting to bend with knees and end up throwing out my lower back… one trip and Dr. H gets it back into place where I’m not shuffling around in pain. My insurance also covers a 30 min massage before my treatment. Their office masseuse has some pretty wicked hands… much better than many weak hands at the trendy spas. He rocks.

I am slow but not stupid. I am too old to be arm wrestling and though I dusted my 20 year younger opponent my right knee buckled during the feat. I didn’t think much of it … and that same night I remember banging my right knee on a chair looking for lost keys … it was quite a nite … anyway next day my knee was swollen and hurt. I was not sure if it was arthritis or gout or from the bang … anyway day after day I thought it was getting better but was always in pain then I would have a «flair up» and knee was size of grapefruit for most the day on most days. I was afraid to go to doctor because I thought I may have a tore ligament or something and it would cost a fortune. FINALLY, realizing my knee was not getting well I finally wised up and went see Dr. Haley for his opinion … I was expecting him to say, «Your knee is screwed you will need laser surgery,» or something like that … I should have known better. Within two minutes Dr. Haley observed then «felt around» my knee poking here and there saying, «Does this hurt?» And I would say Yes! «Does this hurt?» Yes! Then after the third time he had me go into total knee relaxation mode, he gently «stirred the knee» and then YANK! It was beautiful. I heard three pops, my bones being moved back into place! I felt like the Lion just having had the splinter removed! My knee was out of joint … I hope I have the common sense next time to see Doc Haley after 2 hours instead of 20 days. Or in my case, daze … Moral of the story is … if it don’t feel right see Doctor Haley right away. He is one terrific chiropractor and his fee so unbelievably inexpensive. What a relief.

My husband and I first met Dr. Haley twenty-​four years ago when my husband badly hurt his back in a fall and was unable to stand up right. Thanks to Dr. Haley continuous care over the years my husband has been able to maintain and continue to do life without having to do any back surgery. I started using him for my migraine headaches that had gotten out of control besides adjustments he taught me about what foods (chemicals) were causing most of the problems. I am to the point I rarely suffer from major headaches any longer and with regular visits I keep most of my headaches to a minimum. He’s always been there to take care of us when we needed him and we are both very grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. Haley since 1991. I do construction for a living and herniated a disc in 1996. Without the expert care of Dr. Haley I am sure that I would have been forced to leave my trade and have surgery. Because of Bill Haley I have been able to stay in my union and continue to work full time every year after my injury. I am near retirement now and owe it all to the good service and care that I have received here. This man knows his craft and has never hurt me or my two Daughters in all of the twenty years I have known him. Due to way too many car accidents, I have seen chiropractors for decades. They always try to string me along to have care for a year and then life maintenance. I usually got temporary pain relieve for a few days at best. I was told by two of them to expect to have migraines and significant neck pain for the rest of my life. After a few years of that, I went to see Dr. Haley. Within a month, my migraines stopped — and I rarely get them any more. Pain relieve is well maintained — unless I do some strenuous things I shouldn’t. While some of his recommended dietary practices are not for me, having been seeing Dr. Haley for more than three years due the superior results.

After too many years of skepticism and pain, I sought the services of Dr. Haley at Pleasant Hill Chiropractic Center.
As another reviewer has astutely noted, a book should not be judged by its cover: If you’re looking for gadgets, frills and are image-​conscious, you may be distracted from the great good and healing Dr. Haley can provide. This man knows alignment and, in my own case, has made a significant positive impact on my life and overall well-​being.
After a thorough consultation, I decided to give Dr. Haley a chance to help me with what were chronic rather than acute back problems, which had accumulated over years through stress and repeated injury. I have never regretted my decision.
Call me a wide-​eyed convert, but it isn’t too much to write that since beginning treatment with Dr. Haley, my back has never felt better, at least not for almost 20 years, and I have learned much about the role of chiropractic alignment in relation to overall health and well-​being, nutrition, and much more. It *is* possible to feel better and maintain that feeling.

As stated, I was skeptical and even nervous, but also sick –literally– of living in pain. It’s changed my life to discover how much one can heal when root problems are properly handled. I cannot recommend Dr. Haley too highly: His nearly 25 years of experience and individualized attention have made all the difference.

I had a similar experience to Suzanne who reviewed Dr. Haley as well. I first visited him 5 years ago. I was in so much pain and my entire spine was out of alignment, I could barely walk or look forward. 10 Advil a day wasn’t helping either. I have visited chiropractors since I was a teenager (Jimmy Carter was the President-​yikes!). I have been to great ones like Dr. Haley and horrible ones too. Since that first visit, I have seen Dr. Haley 30 times in 5 years which is basically every two months. He has a convenient and affordable cash payment plan if your insurance plan does not cover chiropractics. Besides being a thorough and effective chiropractor, he is a genuinely nice person.

i have been seeing Dr. Haley for over 3 years now and have been IMMENSELY happy with him. I first went to him with chronic, reoccurring migraines. there was NO medication that was alleviating the pain.
Dr. Haley did and extensive interview about diet, repetitive movements, xrays, sleeping patterns, etc. he identified the source of my migraines, and how to prevent them!
the furniture is dated, yes, but to me that reflects his priorities. his focus is on his patients, not his «look».
as for recommending him to my friends and family? YES! my brother goes to him!
