I don’t trust glowing reports without anything negative, but I can’t think of anything negative about this place. The people on the phone and the office staff were very friendly. I filled out the forms on-​line before I arrived. Everything was explained well. I didn’t feel the shots, and of course everything was numb after that. The assistant and doctor worked so well together that they didn’t talk, so with the quiet I almost fell asleep during the root canal. I have a very small mouth and a large gag reflex, so the x-​rays afterwards weren’t fun, but they worked hard to make that go as fast as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Tittle whenever you need a root canal.

Phenomenal experience with Dr. Tittle! He was gentle, professional and extremely thorough at explaining everything that he was about to do, what I would feel etc. I called in with somewhat of a dental emergency, experiencing excruciating amounts of pain and was seen very quickly. When I arrived at the appointment, I was very anxious as I have heard only horror stories about how painful root canals can be– this was not the case here. From the moment I walked in the doors to his office– staff did an amazing job of calming my nerves. The root canal was a smooth, pretty amazing experience to be honest– hence the reason for writing a review. He is truly an incredible Endodontist. For anyone dreading but needing a root canal– I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Tittle. He is the Best.

Dr. Tittle knows his stuff and tells it to you straight. He is gentle and and skilled and his staff is kind. I highly recommend him!

Dr Tittle is an excellent doctor, he did a root canal for me several years ago. Yesterday I went to my dentist to have a filling replaced at my dentist. It was so close to the root that he recommended I go see Dr Tittle. I was able to get in and taken care of very promptly (same day). Front desk, hygienist everyone friendly and kind.

I recently had a root canal done and was so happy with the treatment I received! Dr Tittle was gentle and caring as was the staff! The procedure itself was so much easier than I thought it would be! They took their time and I felt I was in good hands! I would recommend Dr Tittle to anyone who needed a root canal!

Had to have an emergency root canal last week. I have not seen a dentist in 20 years… woke up in agony last Wednesday… by noon made an appointment with Dr. Francis in Martinez (five stars for him and his team too) He took a quick look, gave an absolutely painless novocain shot to numb me. His wonderful assistant was very patient about taking the Xray for someone with a gag reflex so strong I can’t chew gum. Dr. Francis sent me to Dr Tittle for a root canal — my first — late in the afternoon. To say I was a bit anxious is an understatement.
Dr Tittle took me in, did another Xray (thanks to his patient assistant). He said I needed the root canal and sort of went to work. Essentially pain free. (a couple of shots just barely stung. the biggest discomfort was my mouth being open). He and his assistant were like a machine and must have completed the procedure in less than 15 minutes. I listened in on their no nonsense exchange of each step and tool — and I don’t think they wasted even a second of time. They clearly were competent, thorough, and focused. I couldn’t have been happier — pain free — he and his assistant were nice and obviously concerned for my comfort. They even took my BP — it was pretty high — and he very matter of factly said… get it checked out! But he smiled while he said it — and I am getting it checked.
I strongly recommend Dr Tittle if you need this procedure done.

Referred to him for a root canal. Took more than 3 hours for the procedure due to repeated interruptions by other non-​urgent issues. While the staff seems wonderful, they were constantly excusing his lack of attentiveness and distractions. They apologized profusely as I was leaving. It would have meant much more coming from the Dr himself. At one point I was left sitting in the chair with a dental dam in my mouth (very uncomfortable) for more than 20 minutes while he attended to another patient who dropped in to discuss a procedure for a future appt. While his technical skills are excellent, he doesn’t seem sensitive to the discomfort of his patients. I will not return to him for care.

Dr Tittle took care of a trouble some root canal for me about two years ago. Waited a while to post this review to ensure that the work was properly done.
I was recommended to dr tittle by dr schwartz from martinez due to the detail of the issue. Called early in the afternoon and got a same day mid afternoon appointment to get the root canal done.
He explains the procedure in detail and shows you the issues that he could possibly run into so as to level expectations and risks. The procedure was thorough and done with care, all the while updating you on what he is running into. A couple of times dozed off while he was doing the procedure, if that says anything about the quality of his work. The staff was cordial and took pride in their work detail.
Walked out of there feeling pretty good and went back to work. They gave me their on call phone numbers in case I had any questions or complications. Fortunately did not need to bug them.
If you have complex dental issues, Dr Tittle should be on your specialist short list for consideration.
