What a hidden gem! When I walked in the door I was immediately impressed with the quality of merchandise in the store. Most of the furniture looked brand new and there was a nice selection of luxury items. I don’t know what the other reviews were that said it is too expensive, perhaps these people have never priced out some of the high-​end items that were on display at this store. For example: I saw a $ 2,000 Givenchy bag on sale for $ 600 and it looked brand new (I googled the price). There was a huge selection of watches: Rolex, Breitling, and other top names. My wife is a huge fan of Tiffany jewelry and there was a large selection of these.
If you are looking for cheap crap, don’t go to this store, go to Walmart. But if you are looking for rare, unique, quality pieces, you will be very happy.

Anytime we are looking for item to furnish our home we always visit Estates Consignment. We have purchased and have sold items through Estates Consignment. They provide exceptional service!

This is a large store with a nice selection of new furniture and consigned furniture. My wife and I like to cruise the consignment area and we have brought some nice pieces. They were reasonably priced. The jewelry department has a nice selection for every budget. I enjoy checking out the high end watches. Most of all, we appreciate how well we are treated by the knowledgeable staff. They are always available to assist and are so friendly.
This store has become one of our favorites.

They were very helpful when we went in to see what some jewelry was worth. Costume stuff we thought was not worth anything was actually worth more so we were able to sell it at value. Thanks for the help!

the worst place, higher than new and full of junk, came before closing and was told they already closed, open sign was on and door open, we were scooted out the front door. I pointed out the time on my cell phonne and was told too bad. What a jerk he was, my friend was just going to pay for a couch and table she had seen earlier. Glad to point her in the direction of a better place in Walnut creek.

First of all this place is very expensive. The management here was extremely rude and condescending to me when I had questions about their products. Stay away from these guys, your money is better spent elsewhere.

Went here because I saw it while driving and have been looking for some decent patio furniture. Well… I walked in here and was pleasantly surprised at how elegant the store is but WOW if this is a consignment shop, I don’t want to know the original price of EVERYTHING they sell.
I asked one of the associates if they sold patio furniture and she replied «no we don’t» very pretentiously. Almost like «who do you think we are?»
Everything here is in great condition but way overpriced. If you’re looking for a good deal on furniture, don’t come here. Maybe that’s why they offer loans in this store, because of their ridiculous prices.

I have been a regular visitor to Estate Consignments for just about 2 ½ years and I have always been very pleased with the quality of merchandise I purchase, the price that I have payed, and the genuine hospitality and assistance I have been given during these transactions. I recommend highly this business for high end merchandise at a great price and excellent customer service.

As a resident of Nevada, where our consignment stores leave a lot to be desired, I was concerned about consigning furniture, art work, collectibles (Lenox, Wedgwood, Franklin Mint, Rosenthal, China, Crystal, etc). When I contacted Estates Consignment, Rubiner immediately came to my brother-in-law’s home to evaluate the contents of the home. Emotions were high due to the loss of my brother-​in-​law to cancer, but the professionalism and assistance provided was behind belief. Christina inventoried everything extensively, kept meticulous records, sold merchandise quickly, and established a great customer service/​client relationship. We are driving additional collectibles from Nevada back to California to Estates Consignment this month as they are the BEST we have found and it’s worth the drive, due to the way they conduct business, market merchandise, and follow through. No doubt the remaining collectibles (Christmas ornaments etc) will require an additional trip to CA around the end of October, but, to me, it’s worth the time, effort, and expense. THANK YOU to Christina, Robiner and the entire staff of Estates Consignment as you have helped us through an emotional roller coaster of parting with family items in the easiest possible way. The prices were fair and we could not be happier with the end result. Again. THANK YOU.

i am so happy i found estates consignments. it has the best furniture around, some really special pieces too. i like finding unique things. there is always something new to surprise me. they are priced right. no complaints. just fun things.

Interesting place. They do have some things displayed at the store that is called «décor» and not for sale.
The sales manager told me that sometimes when they are done with the «décor», they do sell them.
There was this large vase with silk flowers that I wanted… not for sale of course. It was apparently very expensive and was arranged by some European flower designer. Last time I went there, the flower and the vase was gone. They had sold it. I wish they had a list of customer to call when they are selling these «décor» stuff. I would have loved to buy that gorgeous flower arrangement and the vase. I say you shouldn’t display things that you don’t wanna sell !!! Or have that list to call those who are interested when you do decide to sell the «décor» things.

Ok, I love this place! I came in to kill time and I’ve been looking to replace some furniture in my formal living room without going crazy expensive. I was greeted and everyone was friendly, but not in a «used car salesmen» kind of way… as my experience has been in other stores.
Quality and prices were good, although as others have commented, most of the furniture is new and not consigned. Compared to Ashley Furniture, prices appeared reasonable and product on trend. (Ashley Furniture, not so much IMO). What caught my eye is their consigned jewlery and watch collection. High end and extensive. I ended up going home with a great Tag Heuer watch for my husband! Negotiated to my satisfaction on price and terms. Very happy with my purchase and experience. Fingers crossed my husband likes it… If not, that’s ok… they have allowed me 24 hours to return for a refund. All fair to me. :)

I bought a single diamond ring at estates consignment yesterday. According to Aileen and one other tall gentleman whose name I can’t recollect, the diamond was half a carat SI1. I took it to my jeweler right away for an appraisal. It didn’t turn out to be a diamond. Be careful buying jewelry there. Don’t trust these people!

This place is decent in size. They have both furniture and jewelry, but I was here for just the furniture. The furniture selection is pretty modern. The sales guy says they don’t really accept used furniture from everyday people — unlike most consignments — but rather, they get them from showrooms, etc. So things looks in better shape, and there’s even a modern feel to many of the items available. They have a cool policy where you can bring home furniture for 24 hours to see if you like it, and if you don’t, you can bring it back! The only thing is that some of the prices are pretty expensive, and only a few items seemed appealing.

This place does not do it for me. I’m generally a hunter of tchotchkes and theirs tend to be higher than I like, but that’s not all of it. Their is a weird atmosphere in the place and a very strange mix of items. It reminds me of those stores I used to see in downtown San Francisco which offered a wide variety of expensive and fake antiques for the tourists. Have you ever been in one of those? Frightening.

Still have not received the appraisal for our ring after purchasing it several months ago.

This place really holds some unique treasures.
I have been coming here periodically for the last few years, and I have pretty much always come across something that has tickled my fancy.
It’s large, spacious, and offers items priced somewhat reasonable, to a little overly expensive.
My only complaint would be, which is something I do agree with other Unilocalers on, is the lack of friendly customer service. With all the times I have been in here, I cant really recall any warm welcomes or accommodations from the people working here. I did however, receive a friendly greeting from a gentlemen dressed in jeans at the front of the store. I believe he was a host? Perhaps to assist with the loading of large furniture items? Anyhow, he had a genuine demeanor about him and provided a warm welcome when I entered.
Overall, if I find something of my interest that I can afford, most likely I will purchase it. I will also probably continue to come back, being I am there for the home goods not the people. But it would be a pleasure for the store to be equipped with some more approachable service.

Potential customers of this establishment —- DONT BE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
If you ignore and refuse to acknowledge customers, how the #%^$ can you expect them to remain a costumer??? Listen up, rude employees/​managers/​workers at this so called consignment store, I shop & spend — – ALOT!!! And your business’ mistreatment and complete and utter disregard for customer service is offensive. In fact, the only somebody that even remotely acknowledged me (or for that matter any of the other customers that were walking around); was the strangely dressed «security guard» who stood at a «podium» at the front of the store!!! SMH, simply pitiful!!! I will NEVER EVER return to your store, nor recommend it to ANYONE —- EVER!!!
Future customers BEWARE– GO SOMEWHERE ELSE (walnut creek has an amazing consignment store and the customers are truly appreciated there & they have beautiful pieces, truly on consignment!!!). And, please get rid of those ridiculously outdated photos, shown above, of your store — today (January 6, 2014) what I witnessed was a store that poorly organized, cluttered and a complete mess!!! It did not even remotely resemble those photos at all!!! Your showroom was anything but beautiful!!!
