I have been treated by Richard Weissman for many years. I think he is excellent; caring and compassionate. and I feel great after my acupuncture sessions. Dr. Weissman is one of the best, and patients come from far away to be treated. I keep going back twice a month for maintenance.

I do believe that acupuncture has its benefits. I am not sure this is the place though.

I was very skeptical of acupuncture; however, a friend recommended Dr. Weissman for my shoulder pain. I am so glad I went to see him! I felt better after the very first visit. I had tried many other treatments before(pain killers, physical therapy, chiropractor, etc). Acupuncture seems to be the one that helped me the most. Dr. Weissman is a very professional and gentle person. He truly cares about his patients, and he really knows his profession. I strongly recommend him and his clinic to everyone.

I met Richard at my gym. He had a table set up in front of the cardio machines. That should have been my first clue. I had always been intrigued by acupuncture and wanted to give it a try. He seemed like a logical place to start. At first I really liked the sessions. I left feeling like I had just had a full-body massage but the peaceful feeling lasted closer to a week, rather than just a few hours. I had to put up with annoying pitches for taking herbs but I was straight with him that I only wanted to try acupuncture work. He proceeded to try again to sell me on the herb concept every time I went. Then he wanted to try burning insents directly on my skin. I again was hesitant but thought I would give it a try. The second time he left them on me, left the room to tend to another patient and I had to call him back in the room when I could feel the heat way too intense on my skin. He did not come right away and I ended up with burn blisters on my lower back. I never went back.
