Excel transmission drove me into debt for years through a series of incidents in 2003 that I will always remember bitterly. They had replaced a transmission in a Galant that I owned, and their replacement failed within 6 months. John at Excel Transmission insisted that I must have«abused» the transmission, and refused to honor any warranties associated with his work. When I followed up with the Better Business Bureau, John refused to cooperate. He hung up on me whenever I called. Perhaps I took it too personally, but this company screwed me big time and I’ll never forget it.
