20 Below Deli is proud to be a local family owned and operated business in Plattsburgh, NY. Our deli is located in historic downtown Plattsburgh and is conveniently located for both local residents and Plattsburgh tourists alike. We serve only Boar’s Head brand meats and cheeses on a sub or sandwiche and we also feature a wide selection of meats and cheeses sliced by the pound. Along with a large selection of Hershey’s brand ice creams along with soft serve custard. We take pride in being able to offer Gluten Free to our our customers with out them having concerns about cross contamination.

Serves high quality boars head meats and cheeses which IMO is the best. I usually get cold cuts to go but today tried the Big Bridge on Sourdough. It has comparably ingredients to another sub location’s fan favorite, but 20 below’s is BETTER. All ingredients are always fresh and they have a lot of homemade choices as well. I enjoy coming in here and supporting a place that offers quality and great tasting sandwiches at a fair price.

Stopped in to 20 Below based on prior Unilocal reviews and was very pleased. The shop does use top quality products (including homemade items), makes excellent sandwiches, prices are fair and has a friendly and helpful staff. Nice location with easy parking or easy walking distance from other downtown spots. I only tried a sandwich, but other items looked excellent too. They also sell great deli products to go. Wish this place was around when I went to college in Plattsburgh — would have been a great place for weekends, lunch, large events and/​or after being out (maybe even at Fillion’s that used to be very close by). I travel all over the country and love sandwiches. I consider 20 Below to offer among the best sandwich you can find. Enjoy!

Preordered a couple of gluten free sandwiches for the road. The service was excellent, food exactly what we ordered and tasted great. The owners understand about cross contamination and gluten sensitivity. They have a separate work area to handle the food to ensure everything is safe. We’ll definitely be back.

After a long 5 ½ hour trip up to Plattsburgh from Jersey, it was definitely safe to say that my boyfriend and I were in a desperate need for delicious sustenance. We were at the co-​op next door purchasing groceries when we decided to pop in to 20 Below Deli for some sandwiches. Thank goodness we did! I ordered the #11, park pastrami, and it was the most delicious pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. Great flavors accompanied by amazing service. My boyfriend’s sandwich was also super tasty, unfortunately, I can’t remember exactly what he had. Sandwiches come with a free bag of potato chips and everything is very reasonable priced. They also had some delicious looking ice cream on offer. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely stop by.

My boyfriend and I went for a late Saturday lunch. He had the jerk turkey sub with apricot horseradish sauce and I had a buffalo chicken sandwich. The turkey and chicken, Boar’s Head goodness, was sliced to order and incredibly delicious. The sauce on my boyfriend’s sub, which we later learned was homemade, was amazing and gave a yummy kick to the sandwich. A side of macaroni salad and potato salad completed our delicious meal.
it was hot out, the a/​c was very refreshing. We skipped the ice cream as we were too full, but the pretzel cone is something I need to try next time we go. Service was very friendly.
Yes we will definitely be back.

This is an additional review for the only gf friendly deli in Plattsburgh! I tried their milkshakes the other day and was super impressed too. It was so tasty and perfect!!! Amazing board head meats and cheeses, gf sandwiches, and milkshakes??? I have died and gone to heaven!!!

While I haven’t tried out the sandwiches yet, I order ice cream for my girlfriend and myself. I really enjoyed the coconut almond flavor! It seemed to me they had about a dozen flavors with a few choices for cones. Not a bad choice for a warm summer day!
