The drinks here are great, hands down. They’re also doing some needed remodeling/painting for a cozier environment. This place has lots of potential. Good study or meet up spot. Only downside is the Baristas do not go out of their way to be friendly… makes it a little unwelcoming.

Very cozy place… Makes you feel like you are at home :)! Friendly stuff, very quiet for a coffee shop in a college town. Nice place to work, study, visit your friends and/or read a book with a cup of coffee!

I’ve been to this café several times now, and found it to be a comfy, low key spot where you can meet up with a friend for coffee, or I suppose settle in with your PC. Their regular coffee, and there is a special daily, is much to weak for me; but I remedy that by ordering Americano with a shot. The pastries are OK, and of moderate price and size. A coffee and nosh is under $ 5.00. It is also close to the Avalon movie theater downtown and other shops in downtown Platteville you can poke around in. I like the college vibe too, but don’t sign me up for classes. Been there, done that! I’ll just eavesdrop and soak up the«second hand academic» in the air.

A pleasant surprise in Platteville. Great coffee and friendly staff. I took some beans home for a good cup while I was in town.

I give them 5 stars b/c this is such a great place and such good coffee for this area. Great seating, good coffee and espresso drinks and even happened onto a good sale on fair market, organic coffee. We will be back.

The have great coffee and mocha lattes. They also carry the local root beer which is phenomenal. They once had a Facial Hair Friday special; 10% off for bearded people! So they got a good sense of humor too. It’s a nice place to go study for the college students.

Freshly Roasted Coffee is hard to find in a small town like Platteville. Badger Bros has it!

The coffee is sourced as Darin goes on double duty trips. Missions to help people and find the best beans. Ask for the fresh featured roast

This place is the best. The owner always knows what you want and calls you by name. I think that is a great trait for any business. And all the other baristas are great at their job too. I’m rarely disappointed in my coffee I get. I highly recommend the rabid badger especially if you are tired. It’s quite the pick me up.

Cool atmosphere, fast service, and tasty mocha for me. I was just passing through and choose to stop. I am glad I did! Downtown Platteville is delightful and better because of this gem of a coffee shop.

This is my daughter’s favorite Saturday morning stop. They have the best hot cocoa with whipped cream. The two of us will relax in that front window or in the back. It’s a really nice place!

Cute Main Street USA location, great service, free wi-fi. Every historic downtown needs a coffee shop. This one is perfect.

I enjoyed a mocha, served in a house cup. Free wifi is a definite plus. BBros is always busy, which is a good sign. The only downside, not open on Sundays.

It’s surprising to find such a good coffee stop in a small town. Badger Brothers has an excellent selection of coffee and tea. They also have fruity drinks and ice cream. They feature local artists on their walls and have a free(if you buy a drink) wifi connection.

As a former resident of Platteville I spent many afternoons at Badger Brothers enjoying great coffee, free wi-fi and an environment very conducive to studying. First, the coffee is roasted on site in small batches and holds its own against world renown establishments(e.g. Chicago’s Intelligentsia and Portland’s Stump Town). The baristas all do an excellent job with the beverage preparation and use traditional(i.e. non«push button») espresso machines. Next, the establishment has free wi-fi for customers, their is no limit to usage per drink and bandwidth was always more than adequate for my purposes. Finally, Badger Brothers is just an all around nice place to relax or study. I’ve always felt welcomed, never rushed and use my noise canceling headphones sparingly.
