Elite Cleaners & Village Laundromat

While waiting for my new washer to be delivered next week, I thought I’d pop in here to wash a couple of loads to stay on top of things. I went in at 3:45pm on a Tuesday. More machines were out of order than not, so all machines were running. It was clear the «out of order» signs had been present for some time, so no signs of repair or pride in the business there.
The place seemed dark and dingy even in the afternoon light. There wasn’t really a seating area for waiting between loads.
I will just wait until the weekend and drive the extra distance to my sister’s house and invade her laundry room. It’s free and I get to hang out with my niece.

The laundromat is pretty clean and a decent place to wash laundry. It has 17 top loading washers for $ 2.00 a load and 3 extra large front load washers which runs $ 3.50 a load. There are 14 dryers which look very new and will run you a .25 cents for 7 minutes.
I gave it four stars because the coin machine was empty so we had to go the nearby car wash to get change. The great thing about this place are the individual tables between the dryers to fold clothes. They look all brand new and I had no issues putting my clean clothes on them. I will defiantly use this place again.

It’s time I bought another washer and dryer! Using a Laundromat is neither convenient nor cheap. If I did more than two loads per week, renting turns out to be a cheaper option and way easier. The whole experience is pretty boring and creepy to me.
I easily could have missed this Laundromat but I was eating nearby at Maria’s and had a hamper of dirty clothes on the front seat. It’s a small Laundromat in strip mall location with about 10 machines. Last load is a 9 pm because they close up at 10. There’s a dry cleaner adjacent but it was closed and there was no attendant on duty.
Washers and dryers worked well and parking was convenient so no complaints. It’s a busy location even on a Monday night so I imagine at peak times there could be a wait. A washer and dryer are definitely high on my list of musts…
