Hello I would like introduce myself and thank you for visiting my site. My name is Duane and I have been in the optical field since 1987. I have worked at a few of the major retail optical chains and learned the skill of producing quality eyeglass lenses from the best in the field. In my many years of working retail, the store manager would always tell me if I wanted to get anywhere in this business I would have to come out on the sales floor and start selling glasses so I could become a store manager myself one day. I gave it a try. When selling I would ask questions and only offer the customer what they needed, but the store manger always pushed me to sell over priced lenses to customers or even sell them things they did not need, like poly or hi index when the prescription did not call for it, just to make that big sale. I stared in the optical lab in 1987 and have been making glasses ever since.

I was schooled in the art of lens making from some of the best in the field. started with the older manual type of machines and have seen the industry grown into today’s hi tech precision machines. I worked for pearl vision for over 10 years before I stared working in the optical wholesale lab field. I manage the optical surface depart at a big wholesale lab for a wile before I stared my own wholesale lab.
