If I could rate this office a 0 I would. Longest wait times I’ve EVER had at a doctors office, impersonal and rude staff, doctor was too busy playing with his computer to listen to my needs, unorganized, and clearly only care about meeting their patient quota and filling every available office time. I went in for a simple tb test and physical for professional school since I work with patients. I waited 45 minutes to get into the exam room. I was greeted by an easily visible unhappy short nurse with long brown hair. When I got I the room after being weighed she asked me why I was getting the test. I simply stated it was for school since I work with patients in the clinic. She then questioned me «are you sure you need it?» as if I was an idiot. After being insulted by the nurse, she told me it would be a minute for the doctor to come in. So I waited another 20 minutes or so. I knew the doctor was coming to my room because I heard the rolling computer that he clearly brought everywhere with him. He came in, shook my hand and sat down next to me pretty much and started typing away. After a very awkward minute or two he asked why I l was there. As he kept typing in all my information, he would randomly ask a question, which he clearly wasn’t listening to because it took another minute or two for him to ask another question which was completely unrelated. I’ve never had such an impersonal conversation with a doctor. Every time I wanted to look at him I had to turn my head completely to the left and it actually started hurting. After he was done with my short 1 minute physical he finished typing up and said«follow me». As I gathered my things, I turned around to find he was gone and already to the front of the office. He clearly didn’t care about me, the patient. I went up to the front and was barely greeted by the check out lady. She seemed annoyed that she had yet another patient in front of her. Anyways, I left and had to come back today for the nurse to check my tb test. They told me I didn’t need an appointment, just to come in and they’d quickly check where they had injected the tb test. So, I came on at 9:45 and waited in front of the closed window for a good 5 minutes before they realized there were 3 people waiting to check in. After waiting 15 minutes the same short nurse with long hair called me in and checked my test and gave me paperwork for blood testing. I then had to remind her that they had my tb paperwork. She asked the two annoyed girls at the front and both stated they never scanned it in and I didn’t even have a file?!? How do I not have a file when I came in two days ago?!? Soooo I said okay I can print it offline and you can fill it out. The nurse then freaked out with the patient waiting room door open saying that«you should have scanned it in, maybe I don’t want to fill out paperwork I’ve already done»(talking to the two front desk girls). It was so unprofessional and embarrassing. So, I printed out the paperwork and they said I’d have to wait for the doctor to sign it(again). So after 40MORE minutes of waiting I finally got called back to get the paperwork. Most unprofessional, unbelievable, unorganized office I’ve ever been to. Needless to say I will be going back for blood work at another office and getting my second tb test somewhere else as well. Don’t waste your time or money here!!!

Dr. Shertzer is knowledgeable in his profession but does not spend enough time with the patient(me). I was surprised that he was able to diagnose me in what seemed like a total 3 minutes of face-time and a quick check up. It’s hit-or-miss with his staff. Sometimes they are efficient, other times they are not. I have had issues with getting them to fill my medication when the pharmacy faxes requests, however the staff has been generous with discount cards/trial meds. Overall I am satisfied and will continue to go back for my medical needs. -
