LABCORP DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, ONLY THE FINANCIAL BOTTOM LINE.
Today was not my first rodeo with this horrendous lab, thanks to Coventry SBBC. My appointment was for 12:15. When I checked in, I asked how long it would be and was told they had to check me in first before they could tell me. I took a seat and was treated to the following: a man on his phone loudly lamenting the length of time he’d been waiting for his drug test. (Everyone nearby also learned how long he’d been «clean» and other inappropriate personal info.); a ridiculously loud TV showing whatever happened to be on Channel 10; various other inmates looking as if they were about to pass out or fall asleep.
So, after an hour, I went back up to the counter and saw 3 gals sitting there — including one of the phlebotomists. I was told they were just getting ready to call appointments.
THE VERY WORST PART WAS THE DISGUSTING BATHROOM. A CLEAR CUP WITH URINE IN THE BOTTOM WAS SITTING ON THE BACK OF THE TOILET, FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE. Also, the back of the toilet and knobs on the sink were all taped over with wide, clear tape — what was that about? At least the woman taking my blood could have given me a head’s up that I couldn’t use the sink. (PS — the foam from the sanitizer dispenser came out as clear liquid — proof that even the santizer could care less about you.)
So disgusting.
LaI am only sorry I couldn’t give this place zero stars.

The staff on the front desk are rude, they have people waiting 3 and 4 hours and then dont have the courtesy to told is going to be long wait, they get upset if you ask when is you turn

This place is very unorganized. .rude.and very very slow. they sit there talking about their night out.. Cussing. just awful.. Don’t waste your time there

This place is absolutely horrendous. My mother almost passed out there today. Her blood pressure was through the roof and they had her sitting there all day with nothing to eat. They wouldn’t even expedite the process so that she could go out and grab a bite after her blood test. She had to be escorted to her car because she was so weak. These people who call themselves medical professionals are horrendous. They Have horrible bedside manner and treat people like filth. Had my mom died in Your offices today, I would sue your asses off you hear me. And I would win. I would definitely win. There was only one woman there who treated my mom with any decency. Kudos to Simone for treating people like human beings.

This place is a Zoo, but I didn’t have a choice! I’d pay extra just to avoid labcorp. I had an appointment, but that didn’t matter until I spoke to the girl at the desk and pointed to my name on the list right under her nose. The phlebotomist who took by blood was very nice, but she destroyed my arm. She must have gone through the vein and I developed a huge hematoma. If you have to go there, make an appointment, sign in with a red pen and tell the receptionist… make sure she’s listening. Good luck.

The website is very easy to use to make an appointment.
The building is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.
Upon entering you will enter a very dull waiting room. There is water available. There was a slight foul odor.
It is always extremely busy so an appointment is a must. If not you could easily wait all day for your appointment. Even with the appointment prepare to wait for a while so don’t forget a good book or smartphone.
They do a lot of different testing including clinical, drug, and sugar.
The paperwork to fill out is pretty simple. Do not forget your referral.
They will swipe your credit card without telling you the amount charged or a receipt.
I was taken 25min after the appointment time. I overheard many people complaining about their wait time so I am assuming they waited much longer.

I came to this Labcorp locations several years ago. To be as diplomatic as possible the place was a nightmare. People waiting out the door, every seat taken and the wait time was ungodly. I swore I’d never go back to this location again.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of returning. I figured after several years it had to have improved. In addition, I made an online appt assuming the wait time would be minimal. WRONG. The place hasn’t changed a bit. Unfriendly and indifferent staff, stuffy room, every seat taken with people overflowing outside. Even with my appt I had to wait 45 minutes before being called into the back room.
While in the back the nurse stated with an appt the wait time at MOST should be 15 min. She advised that they are always understaffed and never have the appropriate personnel to handle the large amount of appt’s and walk ins.
Doctor offices use this dump because it’s cheaper for them than drawing blood in their own offices, and sending the blood out to the lab. I’m sure labcorp charges medical offices cheap prices to send patient’s to them.
It can’t get any worse. There is a reason just about every labcorp location has very low approval ratings. Apparently their corporate office doesn’t care.

I’m writing this on behalf of my mother who happens to be a diabetic and had to wait over 4 hours to be told to take her paper and leave. She asked them how long was the wait and was told 45mins. (Lies) The women in the front Melissa Rodriguez was sooooooooooo nasty and rude. I don’t know how she is still employed. After reading these reviews I’m sure everyone is talking about her. My mother was beyond angry about being lied to and yelled at by this unprofessional professional. I, myself am beyond angry about this situation and intend to contact the lab manager about this. Avoid at all cost!

Only because I can’t give it 0 stars!!! The girl at the front desk right now, July 14^th at 11:55am is the nastiest I’ve ever come across at a check-​in desk. I stood there to use the pen and fill out my aunt’s forms. She smacked her lips, and closed the window in my face. Later, I knocked to know if she needed the paper in advance, she opened with her head down, never said a word, I asked the question, she answered half-​assed, and closed the door in my face again. There’s NO WAY that the owner of this establishment would be OK with this lack of professionalism, customer service, courteousness, work etiquette, ugh!!!

If I could give a negative star I would. Waiting for 3:45 minutes is absolutely insane. The temperature in the lobby rose to 82 degrees and they would do nothing to speed up the process. I would never ever ever recommend this horrific place.

They are the worst!!! Waited for almost 2 hours for blood work! Waiting room hot & smelly. Everyone was complaining… The only good thing was the tech that drew my blood was quick! But I will never go back, quest is 100% better and you only wait 10 minutes.

Let’s face it. There is a reason that this and every LabCorp in the area has only only one or two stars: they all stink! It is difficult to get appointments on a timely basis. The waiting rooms are crowded. The staff is indifferent and not very helpful.
The waiting room at this particular location is particularly dreary. It is dark and does not feel particularly clean. When I got there today there were so many people waiting that the overflow was outside and there certainly were no seats left. Thankfully, I had an appointment. Even with the appointment I still had to wait about 20 minutes… standing up. Honestly, even when a seat did open up I did not take it because I just did not want to be squished in with all the people like a little sardine. Once I went in, the technician drew my blood in about 30 seconds and I was finished.
There must be a better way!!! However, if you are forced to go to a LabCorp I would recommend the following:
Make an appointment! Without one you can literally wait for hours!!! I know making an appointment is sometimes not possible in some cases as there may be little lead time but if you have any lead time, make that appointment as soon as you get that lab sheet fri you doctor.
Check several locations if the LabCorp closest to you does not have an appointment available.
Do not assume you cannot get an appointment even if it is same day (especially if they are non fasting labs). I recently got an appointment for my son same day., difficult, but possible.
If your labs are not fasting and you do not have an appointment, go right before closing. This location closes at 3pm. I once went at 2:30pm and got in right away.
There are still some MD’s who still draw blood in their offices. Find one! Even if they charge for this service, it is still worth it!

Overall a poor experience for a simple pre-​employment drug screening. I will say that despite the packed waiting area, I did not wait long. Every single employee I encountered was very impersonal and unprofessional. My personal belongings were left unsecured in an unlocked file cabinet labeled ‘Lab Supplies’. Several people, patients and staff, were in and out of the room where my belongings were unsecured; no accusations, but someone easily could’ve gone through my wallet without my knowledge. But what bothered me the most was that my specimen was left unsupervised in an area where any strung out druggie could have swapped their urine for mine. Not what I wanted to see in a place that is supposed to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt who does and does not do drugs.

Horrible experience I had to wait over two hours for a simple drug test. People who signed in after me were being called before me. Customer service is not their strong suit apparently. I was over an hour late getting back to work. Worst experience ever.

Very happy today (not like the way it is most of the time I’ve been there). We checked in and were completed within 32 minutes. We had an appointment which was very fortunate considering there were almost 30 people waiting when we got there.
I would make two recommendations to this company: first recommendation is they must get a TV in the lobby which would make all of their patients that are waiting for an hour or longer much happier. Suggestion number two is if you are smart enough to get a TV then you can get a microphone system which means everybody can hear their names (which even now they cannot hear their names without a TV).

Can you say RATCHET! I mean EVERY TIME I go here it is ALWAYS packed. I don’t bother making an appointment because either way you have to wait at LEAST an hour. Honestly, my last 2 times going, I only had to wait an hour which isn’t bad. I think it depends on what labs you are having drawn?! IDK They always have the same handful of people working. I can say when you make it to the back, they do work quickly to have everything done!

Had to come here for testing that my program at school requires.
Wow, talk about a group of unfriendly and unprofessional people. To start the lady at the front desk couldn’t even crack a smile, I couldn’t tell if she was working the gates of hell or working the front desk at a lab. Next the lady in the back handled peoples «specimens» very unprofessional and really didn’t care much either. Finally, the bathroom in the back looked like a cross between a stinky concert port-​a-​potty and a murder scene, if you catch my drift.
I would suggest you try as different location, hopefully with better staff.
