Gatehouse on the Green Apartments

This place is crap. I have a dog for which i pay rent for. It’s been 2 months since poop bags have been replaced next to my building and when i asked the maintenance guy about it he told me to talk to the office… I did talk to the office and the girl told me bags would be there by the end of the day… No bags! And they tried to raise the rent… If you have a pet they will steal your «pet rent» and expect you to pick up the slack. They are stealing from the residents. Not a place I would recommend. Also, the residents they are allowing to lease here are less than desirable… what’s the point of having a gate???

Absolute worst place I have ever rented from. From day one the office staff seemed to have a snobbish attitude and could never answer any of my questions. Every time I would call the office the staff would rarely answer mainly because they spent their days aimlessly roaming around the apartment buildings in their golf carts and then parking them in the middle of the street. Front gate is always broken and does nothing to keep non-​residents out. Garbage area is constantly overflowing with trash because the compactor is full and hasn’t been emptied. Never any poop bags to clean up after pets so there is dog crap everywhere. The quality of residents being allowed to move into the community has gone downhill considerably. Drug-​dealing, vandalisms, stolen vehicles and home break-​ins are common. The apartment next to mine was broken into. Management will just try to brush your problems aside and nothing gets solved/​fixed. Maintenance is lazy, rude, and incompetent. Entirely overpriced for the low class area it has become. Once you move out they make sure to take you for everything you’ve got by charging you for every single thing they can regardless if you’ve already taken care of the issue.

Great apartments! Very pretty interior

I would never rent from this apartment complex again. The maintenance staff is extremely rude, they barged into my home when the air conditioning unit broke, which was because they broke it since the guy doesn’t know how to replace a unit. My water has been shut off several times randomly during the day, I call to find out why, it takes me several times to reach someone, then they don’t know why and when it might be turned back on. They never clean up from the trees its disgusting all the stuff on the ground smells like horse poop. The trash gets over flowed easily and the residents are forced to throw their stuff outside the dumpster which looks disgusting. When I moved out they took $ 170 out of my deposit so they can clean, repaint, and shampoo the carpets. First of all if this is general move out procedure why am I paying for it? I did touch up paint myself which was a waste because they charged me to paint and nothing needed to be painted. This place is a joke, I would never go to an Equity Residential Apartment Complex again, especially Gatehouse on the Green.
