History

Established in 2008.

DrPhonefix started out in Miami, Florida during the birth of the touch screen and smartphone phone generation. We envisioned thousands of people cracking their screens and just tossing their phones, as opposed to getting them repaired and making them just as good as new! After months of training all of our employees we launched the company DrPhoneFix and began expanding around the south Florida area. Today we have over 19 locations with more coming soon!

I started repairing smartphones & tablets in January of 2013 at DrPhoneFix in Plantation. After six months of doing cell phone and tablet repairs I decided that this was what I wanted to do. I was very good at it and I’ve always had a passion for electronics. After months of trying to find a new location to open up, the President of DrPhoneFix Inc. suggested taking over the store I was currently working at. After weighing all of my options, this really made the most sense for me and my family. My wife and I officially became owners in August of 2013. We run the store ourselves with the help of another technician. Being a business owner definitely changed my perspective on this line of business. We ultimately do our best to offer quality repairs at a great price. It’s been a great experience so far and we hope to really stand out from other phone repair shops in the area.
