At The Tutoring Center, we specialize in helping children master academic skills and increase their self-​confidence, attention span, and focus. We develop a personalized program and then give the child the finest ONE TO ONE instruction possible in a positive, fun, and caring environment. We offer Math, Reading, and Writing programs for K-​12 grades.

Our programs cover Phonics, Reading, Writing, Basic Math, Pre-​Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Calculus, Homework & Study Skills, and Kindergarten Readiness.

History

Established in 2015.

The first Tutoring Center location was opened by Dr. Edward Thalheimer in 1994 in Ventura County, California to offer personalized tutoring. Dr. Thalheimer incorporated research based rotational approach to learning in his classrooms. Soon this business was open to franchising and today the franchise has close to 100 locations either open for several years or about to open.

Business Owner

Malika holds double Bachelor’s degree; she has her Bachelors in Business, and Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Malika worked as a Registered Nurse for 3 years; She worked 1 year as a Oncology nurse and 2 years as Director of Nursing at a home health agency. She derives immense happiness from working with children and elderly people. Malika has served voluntarily as a teacher for Religious schools for 6 years and served as a teacher educator for 2 years. Malika aspires to assist the children of her community to reach their potential and grow up to be confident individuals.
