Employees are not helpful! I was sent there to get a cast cover for my son. They only had one size in stock out of four size options. When I asked them if their other location had more sizes, the answer was for me to call them. I called the other location, and they didn’t have the right size either. It seems to me that the store would want to make sure it had adequate inventory. The employee, a young girl at the counter, needs some lessons in customer service. She was extremely abrupt and dismissed me without a thought.

Do Not use their hormone replacement therapy! It isn’t consistent and fluctuates on ingredients! Estrogen had no Estrogen in it and Testosterone was through the roof high! I’ve used their products for almost 2 years and have finally stopped. Countless side effects, elevated liver enzymes, and high blood sugar have gone away since I stopped using their compounded HRT. I thought I was doing the right thing for my body! Remember it’s a business at the end of the day!

I’ve used Texas Star several times and I have generally found that they young girls that work there are abrupt and not particularly helpful. I recently rented a knee scooter and crutches from them and simultaneously purchased a waterproof boot for the shower for my leg. The owner, who was not there today, helped me when I did. He told me that I could return it if it didn’t work. I took it back past there 7 day return policy, unused with a receipt(clearly marked 7 day return) and they would not issue a refund — said only the owner could do that. I explained our conversation and she basically told me, too bad, come back when he is going to be here. Asked when that was… she was fairly curt and said she didn’t know. I also needed a ankle boot and they did not have one in my size. I went to Taylor’s Drug and Equipment, also on Park in Plano. They were very friendly and helpful, have a much more generous return policy, had the boot in stock and after asking are less expensive by 1⁄3 for rentals than Texas Star. The money is not the issue, it is the principal. I’ll throw the boot away and eat the $ 42 dollars. I will not, however, patronize their equipment rental services again and will instead to to Taylors… just down the street on the SE Corner of Alma. There you go. $ 42 and a bad attitude just cost you this customer.

I love this place. Some of the best service I have ever had anywhere. The only negative I would say would be there hours. Other than the hours, what a great bunch of people to do business with and trust.

Very slow service. I have called many times and asked simple questions like if my Rx is ready. They seem very disorganized, I’m put on hold 1 – 3 times for them to check on very simple inquires. They operate on bankers hours so plan ahead. No evenings, a coupe of hours on Sat and closed Sundays. I will take my business back to CVS.
