I wish I could give more stars! Seung is a brow genius! Seriously, I don’t know that I’ve ever had someone so knowledgeable touch my brows. I read all the Unilocal reviews before booking and I wondered (as I usually do) if it was as good as it was hyped up to be. It absolutely is! Seung really has a craft. If you don’t consider brow design a craft– it may just be that you haven’t seen the difference between Seung and everyone else. She takes into account so many other things others don’t– your face structure, proportions, and your natural brow shape. I have never heard someone take into consideration the surrounding muscles and measure to make sure the final result was great for my face– and believe me, I’ve had A LOT of people look do my brows.
I put myself in her capable hands and the result was fixing my «surprise» brows into a beautiful, more natural shape. My brows look thicker, and I can definitely tell the difference in the compliment to my face shape. I love her approach, and after trying out the waxing, I plan to do a full permanent eyebrow appointment. Book early because she is BUSY! I will tell you it is well worth the wait. She lives up to every wonderful thing you will read on Unilocal,and then some. You will not be disappointed.

I just want to start off by saying how absolutely amazing Seung is. She has changed my life!!! I dont ever have to wear makeup on my eyebrows again. If you are like me, I took time every single morning to put makeup on my brows because I have NONE. My eyebrow hairs are soooooo thin and light; and I am Asian… with black brow hairs! Without makeup, my face just looked weird and incomplete. I was really self-​conscious of just going out in public without makeup and now I dont care because my brows are on fleeeeeeeekkk! :D
I have researched everywhere for years. This is a tattoo on your face and I wanted the best of the best. I’ve thought about it for years and when I decided to finally do it, researching took me forever. Anyways I came across this place, made an appointment, and was nervous everyday until after my brows healed.
The first appointment took a little over an hour and half. Most of the time was spent drawing the brows, measuring, placing, etc. Which is awesome because she is picky about how your eyebrows look too! She wants them to look awesome and make you feel awesome. The process was pretty painful for me because my skin is really really sensitive, but it was nothing I couldn’t handle :). She does use a numbing cream that helped. The 6 week touch-​up took about 45 – 60 min. After this, I think its about a year or so before the next touch-​up.
The biggest tip I can give you is to TYPE IN THE ZIP CODE. I just typed in the address to my gps without the zip code and I ended up 20 mins from my destination and was late to my appointment about 40 min. Seung was such a sweetheart and still let me come in. Also, I would recommend everyone to not wear any makeup, except like eyeliner and mascara. Your face will get touched all over and no makeup helps reduce bacteria contamination. This is just a suggestion, Seung cleans and sanitizes everything. Last tip is to just let Seung do her thing and what she recommends. She knows her stuff, measures your face, and gives you her best opinion. When she first drew my stencil brow it looked bigger and wider than I wanted, but once she was done they looked absolutely flawless. They were the perfect size, shape, and everything. So dont let the stencil brow scare you!
She took the time in explaining everything to me and I asked her a lot of questions. I love the color and how natural they look. I had my 6 week touch-​up this morning and am still impressed. Thank you Seung!!!

Every once in awhile something comes along that changes everything. Yes… everything. Such was the case 3 years ago after a particularly unsatisfying and painful threading experience at a salon in Addison.
I hopped on Unilocal,seeking enlightenment and eyebrow redemption. Through the miracle of the interwebs, I found Seung at Tashi Brow and Skin Studio.
At my first appointment I realized that this was a whole new ball game. Seung knows her stuff and she won’t steer you wrong.
I guess I’d always taken my eyebrows for granted. They’re thick, grow quickly, and seemed to look OK enough after a bit of tweezing, waxing, or threading. I do have a small scar in one eyebrow that always bothered me a bit, but I just did a little comb over with some gel and it was fine.
And then here comes Seung with her expert eye for balance, symmetry, facial shape, skin tone, and more eyebrow aesthetics than I even knew existed. She measured, drew, explained, and then completely transformed my eyebrows into a true asset. Seriously… people frequently compliment me on my eyebrows now! That never happened pre-​Seung.
I addition to her amazing talent with eyebrows, Seung is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could ever meet. Plus… I love the online scheduling, email calendar invites, text reminders, reasonable prices, and super clean studio with easy access and parking.
The only problem here is that Seung is so good that she’s always busy! And I mean busy. (It’s Dec 2^nd today and her next open appt is in February.) But don’t let that deter you. Just plan ahead and trust me when I say it’s definitely worth the wait.
Go see Seung. Your eyebrows will thank you.

The best of the best. I had a nail salon over wax my eyebrows and then took my brows into my own hands. Boy was that a mistake. They were not cute! Super spaced apart. I always knew they weren’t perfect, but was never bothered. I finally was bothered enough– THANK GOD. I’m the research queen. I researched up & down for eyebrow tattooing, but it wasn’t hard to choose Seung– I mean look at all these awesome reviews! They are the TRUTH. She is the truth to brows. Highly professional, gentle, sweet, and knowledgeable. The first appointment did take a while for me, but I am NOT complaining at all. A tattoo on your face is serious business. She measured, took pics, and made sure they were perfect. At first I thought to myself «whatttttt did you do?» They were completely different than my brows before. I was in total shock. Only because I wasn’t used to them being so bold & perfect. They are dark at first, just like all fresh tattoos, you have to give it time to heal. I was careful washing my face, and really made sure I did everything she asked for after-​care. During the healing process they WILL itch, but you cannot scratch them. Mine took a week to stop the «shedding» of the skin and itching. Since everyone has different skin types, how your skin takes to the ink will differ. I had a spot that didn’t take to the ink, and went ahead and scheduled a 6 week touch-​up. The touch-​up is a much shorter appointment, not as painful as the first (the first isn’t bad either as she uses numbing cream). At my 6 week touch-​up she greeted me as if I were her best friend, and we talked like we were best friends in real life… I mean truly I could obviously go on forever. I plan on doing permanent eyeliner at the beginning of next year and could not be more excited to see her. Schedule an appointment. You will not regret it :)

Seung is an artist and amazing at what she does. Not only did she have extensive knowledge about eyebrow tattooing but she is a perfectionist and took her time making sure my brows were shaped perfectly to my face. The process was a 3 on a scale of 1 – 10 in terms of pain, almost as if someone is lightly tapping you with a thumbtack. I will definitely be back for other services soon! :)

Fantastic experience ! I went last year and have not had a chance to write a well deserved review. Seriously the BEST decision ever. I research quite a bit especially if it consists of being tattooed … On my face. My eyebrows looked dark immediately after which is completely normal and by week ½ they looked fantastic. It has been 8 months now and I still get complements on my «beautiful» eyebrows they look so natural and I have recommended so many people to her!!! Fantastic!!!

Seung is amazing! She measures your face and makes sure you like the shape. I don’t think I can ever trust anyone else with my eyebrows again.

I braved my fears, wanting a true solution to my sparse, over tweezed and rounded eyebrows and went to see Seung yesterday. I found her here on Unilocal.She offers what many refer to as «eyebrow embroidery», which is a semi-​perm technique. It’s basically a single hair stroke tattoo for those of you that don’t know. Seeing spent a very generous amount of time consulting with me, taking measurements, explaining eyebrow shapes, etc. She took photos all the way through to check her work. Awesome experience other than the small amount of pain. Can’t blame that on her as I probably talked too long after she applied the topical. She did reapply the numbing cream later on and all was well. I was given thorough instructions to take home. At my 6 week check up she is going to thicken the line just a bit. According to Seung you can always add easier than to remove so she started out with a basic shape, following only my original brow line. However we both agree that a little thicker is younger looking. I am giving her 5 stars in spite of the fact that there is a little more work to do based upon her total commitment to personalization, her professionalism and her skill.

It’s been one year now since I first went to Seung for permanent brows and eyeliner. She came as a referral from a friend. At first, I was extremely nervous; but I had seen her work on my friend, so I went ahead and booked my appointment. Seung spent so much time measuring all anatomical aspects of my brow structure. She even had me make different facial expressions to see how they effected my brows. Not only does she have over twenty years of experience, she will aide you in obtaining a very natural look. She uses hair strokes for the brows and is able to match your natural color perfectly! She applied the eyeliner in between my lashes to obtain the ulimate natural look. Today, people don’t even believe I had anything done until I show them my ‘before’ picture without eyebrows and eyeliner. I’m living in Texas for graduate school, but will definitely be flying back once I move for my touch-​ups in the future; I would never trust anyone other than Seung! Thank you so much Seung!

I can’t say enough about Seung.
I have been going to her for may years, mostly for routine brow maitenance, shaping and tinting, but she did do some peels for me as well. She was always great, setting expectations so high for anyone else who did anything for me.
Late last year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and lost my eye brows due to chemotherapy. Seung has been a great friend and a resource for me as I wade through the unknown. I found her through a Groupon over 3 years ago; so hard to believe. What a blesssing she is! She knows her stuff and always takes her time to give you her honest opinions and options. Make an appointment… you WILL NOT be disappointed!

I just had Seung do permanent makeup eyebrows on me. I spent months researching because I wanted a natural look and one that is specific to my face shape. I decided on Seung because she is an artist — no stencils and does hair strokes. She spent a lot of time measuring my face, making sure my eyebrows were even (they weren’t before), and choosing the right color. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend her!!!

I have been going to Seung for 2 years now and I love her! I am extremely particular about my brows (I’ve been with my previous eyebrow lady for 10 yrs) but I needed someone closer to my new place. She is a perfectionist with my brows and I couldn’t be happier. She also is great with facials! Try her out!

I recently went to Seung for permanent makeup after 2 of my coworkers had amazing results on their eyebrows. The idea of permanent makeup was a pretty scary thing to me. A tattoo on your face, wow! As a teenager my hairstylist overwaxed my thick brows for years (imagine 2 «commas» for brows) resulting in thin, funky shaped brows that I had to masterfully pencil on on a daily basis. After hearing my coworkers enthusiastic praise for Seung, I decided to take a leap of faith and try it. She started out by measuring my brows with a ruler and penciled them into a perfect shape that we agreed upon. She then waxed my brows just as she had drawn them in. This was the consultation. I came back a couple of days later for the permanent makeup appointment. Because I’m very fair with rosacea, she explained how we would have to adjust the ink color to achieve the desired result. She numbed me up and spent several hours perfecting my brows and I had decided to do a little bit of eyeliner also. Now I’m not gonna lie, it’s not a fun process. But in the name of beauty, it’s all worth it in my opinion! She finished me up and they looked great! My brows were pretty bright at first, but because I’ve had other tattoos in the past, I knew that the color would soften after it scabbed over and healed. 6 weeks later I went in for the touch up appointment. This was a shorter appointment and she only had to lightly go over it all again. My final results are fabulous! I love not having to pencil in my brows and put eyeliner on in the mornings. Anything that makes my daily routine quicker, I’m all for! I even have a friend who works for a celebrity brow stylist in LA and NYC, and she raved when she saw my brows. She said she had never seen such natural permanent makeup before, and she noted the perfect color match.
So if you have any reservations about permanent makeup, you can be confident in Seung’s skills. Be prepared for a little pain, but it’s well worth it. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you Seung, I’m thrilled with my amazing final results!

I’m a little perplexed to see some not so rave reviews about Tashi Brow and Skin Studio since I’ve been going to her for a little over a year and a half. It bothered me so much that I was motivated to write a review. If you believe that your eyebrows are instrumental to your overall facial look, then you must try Seung. She is very knowledgeable in facial structure, eyebrow design and overall skincare. If you are lacking in the eyebrow area, she also specializes in permanent makeup, which I personally have seen pictures of her work. She’s very approachable and listens well to any concerns that you may have and will even offer suggestions outside of the services she provide. This is not your average «wind-​of the-​mill nail salon eyebrow wax/​threading» experience. Yes, her services may be priced higher than expected but believe me you get what you pay for and it’s well worth it. I do wish she offered more specials so her existing customers can take full advantage of her skills but again, that has not deterred me from staying a longtime customer. I highly recommend her.

Yes, yes, yes! FINALLY, someone in Collin County who knows how to shape eyebrows! You know that feeling you get when you find a beauty operator whom you love so much that you irrationally panic that they are going to move away or something? Yeah, that’s Seung!
I went to Seung for the first time recently, for an «eyebrow design». As others have said, she actually measured my face, and gave me lots of insight regarding what she saw (i.e., My face doesn’t «fit» into any of the conventional shape categories… interesting!). She then proceeded to give me her honest opinion on what we should do with my eyebrows– she convinced me that we should leave them on the thicker side, since I have full lips, and fuller brows lends to facial symmetry. Woah! Who thinks about this stuff?!
I told Seung to go for it, and do whatever she thought was best. She waxed (nearly painless!), trimmed, and tweezed, for probably a good 20 – 25 minutes… completely meticulous! She gave my brows a beautiful arch, something they had been seriously lacking. She was exactly right– they didn’t need to be thinner, they needed to be more shapely. I was so pleased with the results. I will definitely be entrusting my browns to Seung alone from now on!
The brow design appointment was $ 35 (before tip), but when you go back for a maintenance appointment, the cost is only $ 25. Perhaps a little bit more than I am used to paying, but my eyebrows are on my freaking FACE, so I suppose it’s worth paying a little extra.

I went in today and loved the experience! I had never had my face measured before or knew what face shape I had, but I loved how this was incorporated into the brown design process. Seung is incredibly sweet and informative. My brows look beautiful. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Seung, she is amazing and truly cares for her clients specific needs and wants. I feel rejuvenated and much more beautiful when I leave her salon. My sister referred me to her almost two years ago telling me how amazing Seung is, and I am happy to say I am now a client for life!

I have seen Seung (pronounced Song) for nearly 4 years now. I have gotten eyebrow waxing, facials and permanent make-​up from her.
Seung specializes in sensitive skin, eyebrows and Brazilian bikini waxing. She is very smart and patient with each of my visits. Her prices are on the high side of medium, but worth every penny!
Her studio is immaculate and conveniently located in the Imaginique Suites in North Plano. She also makes excellent product recommendations, and not always the ones she sells. See her for an inexpensive eyebrow shaping and you will be convinced as well!
