Awful experience. Cover charge to listen to a band ruin songs and the bartenders moved liked potatoes. Will not be going back

Went there twice with bunch of friends and it’s not that great. They were out of miller beer (mind you its domestic) and not great selection of imports either. Bartenders are mean and I seems they are there only for paycheck and that’s it. I won’t go there again.

Had good expectations because the menu seemed pretty good. Service was horrible. Took 5 minutes for a waitress to even come up to us in a basically empty bar. Another 15 to get two beers and order. Another 20 minutes of being empty to get a second round and still no appetizers. Meanwhile the bar tender had his food delivered while smoking is vaporizer at the bar while we waited. Finally asked the bar tender for our check since the waitress was no where to be found. The manager who was just hanging out with her friends came over to let us know two cooks quit, which would have been fine if we would have had drinks coming our way. Just overall crappy place to go. Avoid if you can and will never go back. Go to Legends! Got our drinks and food before we even got our second round at Q bar!

I spend a lot of Saturdays here at Q-​Bar, live bands, beautifully built… wood and brick interior, but it’s the staff that keeps me coming back! Chaz, Julianna and Kirk are the friendliest, funny and hardworking barkeeps around! Love them!!!

Hmmmmm… I had pretty high expectations for this place considering my friend raved about the band beforehand. Band was OK. Country band in IL? I guess I’m a bit of a band snob now that I live in Austin. They were OK. Not terrible, not great.
The real kicker was the service. I was kind of wandering around catching up with old friends. Not once did I see a server come around. The friends I came with grabbed a table and were ignored the whole night. They said they even had trouble getting drinks at the bar. I never did get a drink. No biggie. I didn’t really want a drink, but if I did, I would have been bummed.
There were lots of pool tables in this place, but no cues. Weird. Not everyone carries their own cue. Maybe they were hidden somewhere. Who knows. It’s not like there was any service or anyone to ask. I would not go back here… ever…

Great food, drinks and music on the weekends. By far the best place to hang out at in the area. Amanda is my favorite bartender… I come here every week:)
