They were extremely professional and very sweet.
I went here because all my coworkers go here because we all fall in the same insurance package and they’re all EXTREMELY passionate about someone going here for a dentist. I tried them because I wanted to see if I needed work done because my back teeth were hurting quite a bit, and also I needed a cleaning. I haven’t been to the dentist in about 5 years, so I was scared they were going to basically «tear me a new one» for not taking care of my teeth haha But I was surprised of how sweet they were, and how informative they were and NOT being mean about me not going to the dentist for so long, and just said it’s something I should do if I want healthy teeth for the future.
While doing my cleaning, I had A LOT of hard plaque, so she had to take out the «big gun» tools to take it off. It was uncomfortable, and sometimes it was borderline uncomfortable/​hurting, but that’s not the ladies fault, it’s mine for not taking care of my teeth. Going to the dentist is never NOT uncomfortable, because it’s the dentist, not a spa parlor. She kept asking if I was alright, and always had a soft nice tone to her voice, which was nice and soothing. I’m always afraid that dentists are going to rip me off by saying somethings wrong with my teeth when in fact nothing is. Because my back teeth were hurting a lot, I would’ve believed them if they said I needed a root canal or a removal or something, and I would’ve done it. What it turned out to be was just I was using the wrong tooth paste and my teeth are VERY sensitive and my gums would get inflammed and irritated, especially the teeth in the back, and I just needed to change toothpastes. Simple as that! That shows me how honest they are. They could’ve taken advantage of me and say there was something wrong and charge me $$$$, but they told me the truth and was only charged for a cleaning.
And by the way, since I’ve changed toothpaste my teeth haven’t hurt anymore. :)

My wife and I have been going to Dr Mizar for over 10 years. Great dentist with a very friendly and efficient staff. I hear stories from friends and colleagues of being «sold» services while stuck in the dentist chair. Not here. Very fair, and does to try to oversell. They also have a great appt reminder service via text or email. Will even set an appt on your calendar for you if you desire. Very happy.
