I used to live just down the street from Nails In Time which was great. I recently moved to McKinney and still drive back to Plano every other week to get my nails done. First, it’s like Cheers — everyone knows your name after you’ve been there a few times. Second, they know exactly what I want — and never skimp. Third, the ladies are great — I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They don’t always speak English, but that doesn’t bother me. I’m not paranoid they’re talking about me like some women are. I would recommend this place to anyone. They never short change their customers. Great quality work. I’ve dragged many of my friends and family to this place, including my husband, and they all love it. The day I move out of Texas will be a sad day — I love this place.

I have visited Nails in Time twice. The color selection could use a major upgrade as most colors are old. The salon itself is a no frills type of place. The massage chairs do not have the whirlpool option nor do they add any salts/colors to water. They also do not offer water or cocktails and it tends to stay hot in the salon. Peter has been my nail tech. The guys from previous salons do an awful job so it was expected Peter to do the same. Thankfully, Peter did an outstanding job and really worked on my ingrown. This is the only reason I came back to this location a second time. The lackluster features will definitely have me finding another place soon. For $ 22 pedicure, I cannot complain too much.

This salon is average to me, and I wish it was better. The people here are really nice, but service could be much better. We walked in about an hour or so before they closed. The place was BUSY, and when they get busy, they rush on their services. I come here because you can’t beat $ 22 for spa pedi. So if you want nothing stellar but really sweet people, come here. I’ll still come back because of the staff.

This is right by one of my favorite tex mex places so I frequent here often, the staff are very friendly and remember exactly what I like everytime. To the people complaining about banter, honestly it happens everywhere and I don’t mind, it’s not like they speak in their native language cause they’re talking bad about you, some of them literally just don’t understand proper english and it doesn’t make sense for them to converse with one another in a second language. I always get the typical pink and white done on my nails, gel, and it always looks amazing, lasting up to a good month and a half on average.

Every time I visit from out of state to see my family in Plano I have to come here. I LONG for this place. No joke. It’s that great. This is the best affordable nail place and manicure + pedicure experience I’ve ever had anywhere. The staff is incredibly sweet, friendly, and of course do an excellent job at nails.

Very unremarkable place. There is no formal drying station. The woman brings a fan to your seat and you just sit there. You have a choice of sitting in a lazy boy chair or a massage chair. I have no idea how the lazy boy chair pedicure might work physically. Also, there is only a mediocre selection of nail colors. It was a little disappointing. The banter among the ladies working is almost a bit disruptive at times. They seem happy, yet they are constantly chatting with one another. It’s just something I am not used to, I guess. Finally, they did not rasp my heels. It’s part of a pedicure I look forward to most. I imagine waking up with hard soles compare to the usual softened ones I enjoy for a day or two after a pedicure. Today is the day after Easter and Malibu Nails and the other nail place in this shopping center both had a 40 minute wait. This place had no wait. We are the only people in here. I can understand why. I am now hoping there are no sanitary issues that I will see symptoms of in a few days. If you want a pedicure, try somewhere else. This place is a let down.

I have been a customer of Peter and Helen for well over 10 years. I always get great service the girls go above and beyond every time. Where else can you get a mani/pedi and shoulder massage for $ 37?

Since my first review of this place in May 2011, the quality of pedicures given has gotten worse. Some of the technicians have gotten more careless over the past few months with some atrocious polish paint jobs – nail polish getting on the cuticles or on the skin part, and not doing anything to wipe it. I went in this Saturday with a friend and there were only two technicians on staff already helping two people, two people waiting, and then me and my friend. The technicians were extremely dismissive and didn’t seem to care if we stayed or not. We asked how long the wait would be or if other technicians were coming, no response. They just told us to pick a color. OKkkk… so we left for another salon that was a short 2 minute walk on the other side of the shopping complex. Nails In Time, you’ve officially lost my business.
