Where do I start? I was a customer with State Farm for over 20 years. I bought a house and over time my premiums kept increasing even though I had never filed a claim with them. I decided to shop around. I contacted Michael Fouche Insurance and spoke with Tiffani Davis. All I can say is WOW! I went with Safeco and had wonderful customer service with Michael Fouche Insurance and Safeco as well. As my rates started going up (due to having a young driver on my policy) Tiffani worked and worked and found me coverage with Republic Group that gave me better coverage than what I previously had PLUS my premiums decreased by 50% a month. I cannot recommend this insurance agent enough! Tiffani Davis has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and every time I have talked to her she has a smile in her voice and the attitude of wanting to help in any way she can! If you want to save money on your car and home insurance this is the company to go with. Their customer service is fantastic! My calls were either answered right on the spot or returned in a VERY prompt manner. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I never leave reviews but because of the service I received from this insurance agency I had to tell everyone that this is the agency to use!!!

Michael Fouche Insurance Agency has always been a great company for me. I have know Michael for 15 years and he has provided me car, renters, home, and personal item insurance. He and Tiffani are very responsive and have helped me understand my policies when I have questions. They always get me a great deal and have suggestions for me on how to bundle and/​or save money. I appreciate their expertise and efficiency.

Michael Fouche Agency (MFA) was recommended to me by my next door neighbor. When I checked rates with MFA vs the rates I was paying with Nationwide, I realized how much I was overpaying for insurance. I have been a steady client of MFA since 2004. As an independent agent, MFA is able to provide a wide variety of insurance plans that fits one’s specific circumstances and budget. I have my auto, home, personal liability umbrella and insurance on my rental condos all thru MFA. I appreciate having only one person that I know that I can count on to meet my insurance needs.

THE BEST INSURANCE AGENT YOU COULD HAVE!
I accidentally ran across the two reviews that had problems with the the Fouche agency while I was looking online for their phone number. We have had both auto and home coverage through them for over 10 years and have had no problems with claims or getting immediate responses from them. We just built a new house but our previous house had two roof replacements (hail damage) and we have had two car accidents with nothing misrepresented and no problems. One of the best things about them is that when we compared prices with other insurance companies, they were by far the best price.
I feel that sometimes people write reviews to vent and thought it only fair that I tell about my experiences with them.

THE WORST INSURANCE AGENT YOU COULD HAVE!
I have done business with Michael Fouche Insurance agency for over 7 years. And recently — when I needed to file a claim — come to find out how terrible this agency is… they did everything EXACTLY OPPOSITE of what you would expect from an agency who you make premium payments for your home /​auto policy for many years!
1) Hinder instead of Help — When I had an experienced roofer tell me about the Hail damage, I called the agency — and they did everything to discourage me from filing a claim, including making statements like: «If you file a claim, it will stay on your history for five years and will adversely affect your future premiums» — NOT ENTIRELY TRUE because a claim filed for «natural causes» does not go against you! They even sent a roofer who just wanted to take a quick look and say, your roof is fine for another 3 – 5 years. GUESS WHAT! I filed the claim anyways — directly with Travelers — and with a lot of pain — did get approved and paid for! MFI agency made it very difficult!
2) Policy payment reminders — After the first notice, you would expect your agency to remind you for a payment — NONE! They are so dysfunctional they cannot do simple office work properly!
3) MULTIPLE CALLS, NO HELP! — I took out one of the home policies from MFI agency — and got a bill for extra amount on another one! I called multiple times over period of SIX MONTHS — April 2014 to SEP 2014 before I finally gave up… even when they picked up the phone and promised to look into the issue, i never got a response back! An office with so much LACK OF INTEGRITY!
4) DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES: Here comes the worst!
Unless you’re an insurance expert (I’m not!!), you may not know the difference between ACV (Actual Cash Value) and RCV (Replacement Cost Value). When I bought the policy with MFI agency, they assured me with these statements (LIES):
«The premium is based on the reconstruction cost. The reconstruction cost is based on what it would take to rebuild the house at today’s prices. …the amount for the dwelling is at 100% replacement cost.»
«…Travelers does not underwrite any policy that is not 100% replacement cost»
When I filed the claim, I found out that they had endorsed it as ACV not RCV — which means a significant portion of your claim (depreciation) amount WILL NOT BE PAID!
Nowhere in their documentation — it states «Actual Cash Value»… and they promised «100% replacement cost» which is A LIE! but unfortunately, you only find out when you file a claim! They underwrite the policy as ACV so the agents can make more money and yet sell you as RCV at high cost premium!
5) HIGH PREMIUMS: When I finally made a few phone calls, I realized I was able to save 50% on my Auto policy by switching to Geico and over 15% switching to Allstate from MFI agency who thinks they have the competitive rates but DON’T!
6) TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: If you refinance your home, and let the agent know to update the Mortgagee information on the policy, MFI agency will ignore that! And it delayed my claim payment by over two weeks because Travelers Insurance could not find the right Mortgage company on the policy…
overall — a HORRIBLE AGENCY to work with!

Stay away from Michael Fouche Insurance agency!
I am taking them to court for deceptive trade practices… not sure how many folks out there have signed up thinking they have the coverage they need but they DO NOT — and only find out when they have to file a claim!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I was a customer there for over 6 years, and whenever I needed something, they were slow to respond. Then when I asked them to requite they said there was nothing better out their with my claim history (false). Then when I informed him that they are slow to respond, I got an email in the morning when I cancelled, and then I asked a question in the reply, and no response. So I wrote back in and said — again, no response to my email. Know what happened next? The guy called me a moron, and said I was using vulgar language (I had not until that point). Well at that point, I lost it and told him off.
They are very, very unprofessional. Find yourself another agent. He claims to be in business 27 years, but you can do better, for sure.
