Lone Star Windows

Got me for $ 1,000 cash and stolen identity. Identity Theft charges have been filed and an arrest warrant was issued. He’s left Plano and on the run but will be caught and prosecuted. The police think he’s gone back to Arkansas and are actively looking for him. Everyone needs to file against this jerk… the more charges the more time he’ll end up doing. I’ll let you know when he’s picked up!!!

You just got spoofed!

This guy took our money and ran. We paid him December 2013 and it’s now May 2015. (Read my previous reviews on here for the details). We never saw him again and never got our money back. Google «Lone Star Windows, Plano Texas reviews» and you’ll see this has happened to so many people. Sadly, we had no idea because there weren’t any reviews on here before mine. My hope is that others see this and don’t end up falling prey and victim to him like we did. He’s a scam artist and a crook. BEWARE! Look at my original review for the specifics and details.

Troy Hagar came into my check cashing store on 3−31−15 to cash a check from Lone Star Windows. If i had seen this I would have call the police and he would be in jail. He is a good con man and unfortunately I got taken for not quite $ 200. The checks he had did have a good phone number on them and i spoke with a guy that verified them plus the bank verified the amount was in the account. Unfortunately Troy gave me a fraudulent phone number for himself and address and the guy I spoke with is now not answering my calls and there is no money in that account.
I am in Jacksonville, AR and I am going to file a police report and hope they catch the bastard. I will have my eye out and see if we cant set up the smuck.

Firstly — Research shows that Lone Star Windows, in Plano is not a business. There is a real business by this name which is in Houston.

Troy Hagar, Jr. came to my home in February 2015 and gave me a quote for siding. He took my half down, $ 1450 and I have not seen or heard from him since. He has not returned my calls, emails or letters. I have since found many people who have had their money taken and no goods or services received.

Like «many» others, I have been scammed by this so-​called company which is run by so-​called-​owner «Troy Hagar Jr». He came over to my place on 02/​11/​2015 along with his friend Cuad IV to take the measurements and look at the condition of existing windows and hence, to give me the estimates.
I singed the service-​Contract with the company. As per the signed contract, I gave him 50% deposit of $ 1130 and requested him to email me the warranty document which he never did. He stopped responding to phone calls, emails and this imaginary person ‘Mark/​Marc’ who was supposed to come to my place to take the detailed measurements never showed up.

Now, after getting defrauded by him, I spoke with many other victims (including the latest one) and I think he has the exact same script that he follows. He told me the same stories what he did to others: his grandfather started the business and his family has been in this business for 30 years.
I finally emailed the Plano Police Department as the address on his so-​called business card was of Plano. They said I needed to file the complaint at Dallas Police Department. I spoke with Dallas Police Department and according to them, it is civil case and which is what it is not. whosoever, is reading this, please don’t forget to check his jail-​arrest records.
Here is the excerpt: «Troy Hagar Jr., 26, Mayflower, 51 Dawn Lane theft by receiving, second-​degree forgery; probation violation. Bond was denied. Division 3 revocation hearing was set for Oct. 1. Division 3 arraignment for new charges was set for Dec. 20. Work release was granted»
