Lash and Nail Bar

So I previously had a very bad experience with this salon (see other review for details)
I went back and told them my story and asked if they would fix my nails and they agreed to which I was really happy about. My original horrific nails were black tip powder acrylic I felt
Like there was no way to save them and if you look at the picture it would be impossible so I asked her to just make them all black she told me she would do a fill (which I didn’t need) for free but if I wanted black powder she would charge I thought that was a little bit crazy sense my nails were so bad they were embarrassing and I’d paid $ 40 for them why would I want to pay more money so I asked her to just paint them black which she agreed to do. I like my nails after I got them fixed so I might give this salon another try in the future because all My friends like them and I’ve seen them do good work before.

I thought this salon was clean and that the service was great. The salon is pretty big and everything looked rather new. I got a manicure here and I thought the price was very reasonable and maybe even less than a few other local place. My cuticles looked good afterwards, and the paint job was great — which is, like, the most important part of the manicure. You know when a manicurist is skilled based on how they paint. Anyways, got a great paint job that reached the cuticle and covered the entire nail. It’s been a week and the polish still looks good. I think they got a good top coat, which is also key! Great manicure, I’ll be back for sure!

I got my mani and pedi done here when I was in the area during my vacation. The staff were friendly and greeted me right away. The salon looks clean and has a calming, relaxing atmosphere. The lady who did my nail took her time and I am very happy with how pretty my nails look! Overall, I will visit again when I am back in Plano the next time.

Clean shop. I walked in without an appt and was taken right away. It wasn’t like a typical shop where foreign languages are being yelled across the shop, which was nice. Good work and fast. I am happy and satisfied.

I was in Plano for work and needed to get my nails done. This place was super close to the hotel and a colleague visited the previous day and was happy. They did a great job on my nails and used fresh tools which was SO refreshing. The price wasn’t astronomical either which was a pleasant surprise. I feel like it’s difficult to find an affordable salon that uses fresh tools anymore which is mind boggling to me. One of the gals recommended a place to have dinner since I’m not familiar with the area and chatted with me almost the whole time. Very nice and great work!

Meh. The customer service was good and it was very quiet in the salon. The tools appeared to be clean. Unfortunately, it’s the details that can kill a deal. My gel manicure was ruined by a) the amount of space left between my cuticles and nail bed and b) the crooked shape in which they were filed. They were so crooked that I asked the male tech to please straighten them before the paint job. Well, the photo shows that this just wasn’t a strong suit of this tech.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and would have given 5 stars if not for my last visit. Up until then, service has been great, everyone has been friendly, and I’ve never had any issues with the way my nails looked. In fact, they do the best French manicures I’ve ever had. Most of the technicians appear to be very attentive to detail, and they are great about trying out colors on your nails if you can’t decide. I’ve been lucky in getting some of the same technicians, however on my last visit, I got someone I hadn’t before. I guess she thought I was new to the salon (not that it should matter), but halfway through my NextGen mani, another customer came in wanting her to do her nails. So, they put someone else on me. I’ve never seen this done, and to me, this is similar to hairdressers switching in the middle of cutting my hair. It didn’t seem very professional. My nails ended up looking great, anyway, but I will be going back to my old nail salon down in Dallas now.

I think I finally found my regular nail salon. I love that they have a ton gel colors and Nexgen colors. Salon is clean and they seem to be busy on Tuesday night there was about 15 minute wait. I did get the name of two lady do my pedicure and nail. I’m happy they understood what I wanted. I get regular pedicure gel colors and Nexgen on my nail. My bill came out 82.00. The same what I normally pay for but the quality and service justified it.

Customer service was sub par. Their prices are way too high for some cuticle cutting and just regular coloring. I could’ve done that at home instead of spending almost 50 dollars. Why don’t they have a nail dryer? I left there so unsure if my nails were dry and they didn’t bother to come to us to check if everything was okay. I ended up leaving and it was still wet and got ruined. I couldve went back but i didnt even want to go back to an unfriendly staff.

The place is a little on the dirty side and service has gone downhill since my initial visit…
The staff are always on their phones and this evening I didn’t even get a massage because the girl doing my nails was more worried about the girl needing a brow wax and the two women that came in after me rather close to closing time.
Absolutely annoying that I paid for an hour of service with massage and received 35 mins of a polish change.

Worst fill experience I ever had. He should go thru the pain I did so he knows what it feels like. Don’t go here, I won’t and will tell others not to.

Sunday afternoon & I really wanted to like this place.
Pros– Appears clean and attractive. Good location.
Waxing– pretty good job.
Greeting– greeted immediately and even tho they were busy, no waiting.
Negatives– I got a full gel set. The tech got the gel all over my fingers, cuticles and knuckles. It is a mess with such a big glob of hardened gel on the tip of my finger that she tried to remove it with the drill bit and burned me. She was very rough. Then, she kept telling me to relax. Bit hard to relax with someone who is jerking your hands around and burning your fingers. Also, she did not give me a hand massage. But I just wanted out of there by this point.
My full bill was $ 73. The waxing was worth it. The manicure was not. I won’t be back.

It’s just okay. Massage was lame, but salon was clean.

I have been to The Lash and Nail Bar several times and on each visit I received The Heavenly Pedicure. On each previous visit this service has indeed been just as its name implied but not on my most recent visit.
On my most recent visit I was given a male tech who never bothered to introduce himself and made it abundantly clear that he was much more interested in watching the football game that was airing on the salon t.v., than providing a quality, peaceful, relaxing spa experience that I had paid for.
I would’ve loved to have peacefully and quietly soaked my feet in a basin of warm water before the pedicure began but my uncaring tech just turned on the hot water and walked away. The client next to me even commented on the steam rising from the hot water that made it impossible to put my feet in the basin. Some female employee came over and turned the cold water on and apologized.
The male tech returned to my pedicure station after preparing the tray with needed items for the Heavenly Pedicure. The tech took out his pedicure implements from a tool box type container. The implements were not bagged in any way, just loose roaming around the «tool box». This leads me to believe that the implements were not auto claved in any way as the tech also returned them to the same box when he was finished with me which didn’t take long as I will explain in the next paragraph.
After the incident with the steaming water, I considered putting my shoes on and walking out as my tech just didn’t seem to care. When the tech was using the questionably sanitary nail implements on my toe, in his attempt to remove perceived «toe jam» from my right big toe, the tech JAMMED the implement under my toe nail, I winced with pain and the moron did it again. I told him to forget it that I had had enough pain.
The only reason I gave this establishment one star was due to the relaxing foot massage which was indeed heavenly as advertised. However the bliss was short lived. I had paid for an extra 15 minutes massage on my arms, shoulders and neck. When the tech started the massage on my right arm, he knocked over the glass containing my complimentary margarita which had been setting on the tray table on the right side of my pedicure chair. So the bliss of the foot massage was disturbed by the sound of shattering glass and the accompanying sweep up this entailed.
The final insult was the craptastic toe nail painting. The tech hurriedly painted my toenails. Between colored coats of polish the tech applied some clear oily type polish to my toenails. The Lash and Nail Bar doesn’t have the drying lights for feet that many other salons have. You are expected to sit and wait for your toenails to dry. The tech didn’t even bother to put my feet in any flip flops, I had to ask for them. I sat and waited for 20 min. knowing that my toenails wouldn’t be dry but I left anyway. I walked to a nearby restaurant in the same shopping centre and ate dinner while I waited for my toenails to dry. An hour and 15 minutes later as I was getting in my car, you guessed it, I hit a toenail that still wasn’t dry after the oily gunk that was put on my toes between coats of polish. So 75.00 plus tip and I still don’t have professionally painted toenails.
Another beef with The Lash and Nail Bar is that they do not have hooks on the backs of the pedicure chairs to hold one’s purse. Nothing like setting a several hundred dollar Michael Kors bag on the nasty floor. Yes, I could’ve placed it on the tray table but it most likely would’ve fallen over not to mention the tray table had visibly sticky gunk on it.
No discount was offered for this horrendous and most unprofessional service and neither was an apology. I sadly thought I had found my salon of choice but I was wrong. What a waste of money, the Lash and Nail Bar of Plano, NEVER AGAIN!

Great job! My ladies were very sweet and attentive. Don’t normally get my nails done but will be back

My daughter and i came in on a Sunday in search of a new nail salon we really liked in out neighborhood. We were greater by friendly people a nice supply of nail polish, tv screens that have something pleasant on and soothing music. Great service nails that look fantastic and a reasonable price. My daughter said… Can this be our new favorite place mom? Without a doubt… yES!

Me and my co worker visited here last Monday around 7:30. 30 minutes before they close. As we arrived it was nothing but all smiles and happy faces to greet us and welcome us in.
I got a pedicure and gel nails. Must I say that Cindy did a GRAND job. My nails were perfect and shiny. Not only did my nails look good, she was so much fun to talk to the entire time.
By the time we were finished it was 8:30. Thirty minutes past their closing time. I felt awful for making them stay but they were more than happy to make sure I was pleased with their service!
Love this place, will be recommending to every one and will be returning here often as long as I stay in Plano.

Best pedicure I have had in I think ever! I didn’t want to get up from the chair I was so relaxed. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. Had I not been headed back to work I would have definitely taken them up on the offer for a margarita. They looked delicious. This is my new mani/​pedi place for sure!

I went up to Plano today to run some errands and decided to wait out the traffic by getting a mani/​pedi.
Looked on Unilocal and found this little gem. Super clean and incredibly friendly staff.
I did a gel manicure and it looks amazing. I opted for the «deluxe» pedicure and am not disappointed. Hot oil, exfoliating scrub, cucumbers on my legs wrapped in hot towels, callous removal AND a paraffin wax for $ 38! My feet are happy happy and my toes look great.
They use OPI products, have a good selection of TV programming happening and the overall mood is happy, fun, and relaxed.
Oh, they also have wine, margaritas, and daquaries.
I will most definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to Lash Nail bar since last year and I’ve always been so happy with the way my nails turn out. I love coming in and having Chris Serv me his specialty «margarita daiquiri» while I’m been pampered. I lov Lee she is to me the best manicurist. Love this place I highly recommend it!
