We love Jessica! We have followed her to this business. She does a superb job on our toy schnauzer. This business is friendly and clean. I highly recommend!

Took my dog home and realized his hind end was not cut like I asked. I called, complimented what I could and asked if I might be able to bring him back the next day. The woman huffed into the receiver and told me to call back the next day to see if he could be squeezed in. Seriously? I just gave you $ 75. And now I completely regret it.

Our two puppy Mini Schnauzer’s have been here twice. The staff at La Pawz are very gentle with the puppies, and maintain a clean business. We have a handful of specifics on how we like the puppies groomed, and our expectations have been met each time. I recommend scheduling appointments, and the staff will call you as soon as your fur baby is ready to be picked up. Excellent work La Pawz!!! Madie & Sadie look beautiful!!!

After having mediocre services at other locations, we took our babies to La Pawz in Plano. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the Owner and she immediately made us feel like she loved our pup. We left to do some running around and when we returned, our dog was so well groomed! They did the cut we asked for and did it without us having to ask for any «touch ups”(which we have had to do at other groomers). The biggest plus was that our pup seemed to be calm and happy. She didn’t have that frazzled look in her eyes. The group at La Pawz truly cared not only for our pup, but also for us. We will be making them our go-​to groomers from now on!

My puppy hates grooming because she’s not comfortable with strangers picking her up, touching her butt, and holding her paws for too long. I let them know and they took great care of her! She looked like a puppy again when I got her back and she didn’t look traumatized at all (which is not normal lol). They were able to trim her nails which was never done before, she smelled so nice and her ears were very clean. All that and the price was the same as Petsmart, which never does a good job. I will be returning to this groomer!

I took my Cocker Spaniel there for a full groom at $ 60. The price wasn’t the issue but the 3 holes my dog had in his coat were. We were not notified of this issue at all by the groomer. These were discovered after we took off his harness at home. I feel this was very unprofessional and deceitful. Even after speaking with the owner, sending pictures, and talking serval times, I felt that she more concerned about explaining the groomer being new vs being empathetic to what happened.

Great price and good job. They had my Shiz-​Tsu ready in 2hrs. He looked good. A little choppy in some spots but not terrible.
Great staff and discount deals. Definitely will come back.

It’s a little bit pricy compare to other groomer, but best hair cut compare to all the one we went before.

After my review, I was contacted by Tammy who thoroughly apologized for what happened. It turned out to be a simple miscommunication. I gave La Pawz another chance and they immediately worked my fur babies into their schedule and I was not disappointed! It really says a lot about the business when the owner reaches out individually to every complaint. I will be making my babies another appointment soon! Thanks Tammy!!!

I went because I’m new to the area and had a coupon. I had to reschedule and it was easy and my dog turned out well but overall not a great experience.
Even with coupon and modest tip it was $ 70.
Then, when I picked him up, I noticed children were present and I didn’t like that around my dog, especially when one of them brought my dog out to me.
Then I had problems with both my credit cards and they called me at 7:30 AM to try to resolve when luckily only one card went thru in the first place. I won’t return…
Then, to make matters worse, she decided to get into a pissing match with me over email. STAY AWAY

I have a 10 year old Maltese and have always struggled with finding a consistently good (or just good) groomer. Usually his haircuts are hideous. He’s been in twice and they have done great both times. I won’t take him anywhere else. He always looks so darn cute when I pick him up.
The last groomer I went to resulted in my dog going to the vet because his eyes were swollen almost completely shut and his eyelids inverted. I was nervous about dropping him at La Pawz the first time because of this and his age — but they did great and are very friendly! Good prices too.

I was so sad when Jaycee moved away but Kim has won my heart! She is so gentle with Gracie and sooths her throughout having her nails done plus trimming some unruly hair! So pleased!

I love La Pawz Grooming! It took me awhile to find the perfect groomer for Harvey and I finally found the right place :)
Harvey is a 4 year old rescued shihtzu and he is very shy and afraid of strangers. He hates going to the groomers and I’ve taken him to couple other groomers before going to La Pawz. Every time I’ve gotten him groomed, he was always terrified and sad and it took him forever to feel at ease again after the groomers. However, the first time I took Harvey to La Pawz, he was scared but when I got him back, he was super happy and calm! Not only that, but his haircut was so cute and they cut it perfectly! They did exactly the way I asked them to cut his hair :)
If you’re worried about your dog getting a bad haircut or the groomer not taking care of your dog well, take your dog to La Pawz! They will always do an awesome job. But the three times I’ve been to La Pawz the haircut I asked for wasn’t consistent. It was still adorable but I really liked the first cut they did for him. The second time, I had to ask them to recut and trim certain parts of his face and they did it right away and they were so nice about it!
The staff here are very helpful and prompt! Harvey was always ready to be picked up in 2 – 3 hours. He always smells so wonderful and fresh and they give him the cutest little bandana! I would recommend La Pawz to any dog owners! (especially if you have a shih tzu)

First time at this groomers, so far so good. They cut our teacup yorkie perfectly! She looks super cute!

I love this place! The people are so sweet and good to my dog. She is a nervous dog and they take really good care of her. She seems relaxed when I pick her up. They always do what I ask and are fabulous groomers. Definitely get the platinum pooch package and you can use $ 5 off on Unilocal check in.

I found this place after having a bad experience at one of the big chain groomers. I was very nervous about getting my Lhasa groomed again. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable and put me and my dog at ease right away. I took him in at noon and they had him ready by 3:15. They gave him a teddy bear cut and he looks adorable. They cleaned his ears, perfectly trimmed his nails, and finished his new look with a little bandanna.

LaPawz is conveniently located at the SW corner of Custer & Parker in the same structure that houses Subway, The Latin Pig, & it’s on the side that faces Kroger. We received a coupon in the mail which of course was our incentive to bring my dog here, but the service LaPawz provides is always 100%. Now I’m noticing that out of the 12 reviews they have posted, every person prior to me has given them 5 stars… so if that’s not enough for you, then I don’t know what would be.

My Guilt Avenged
I’ve neglected my doggies for too long. KC did a great job getting them cleaned up. Ryker looks thinner and younger. Baxter looks like a new dog. I recommend La Paws if you want to be redeemed.

I took my 5 year old Maltese here for a much needed grooming. She came back smelling wonderful and well groomed.
Update: I took my crazy puppy here. He is just 10 lb but has a very hard time staying still and is quite the Houdini. Jacey did a wonderful job with him! We are very impressed. His hair was cut perfectly and he smelled just as good as Daisy did. We will be bringing the dogs back here!
I really like that they go the extra mile and add a special touch to each dog– a bow for Daisy and a cute bandana for Linus. It shows that they really care about your pet.
